Hello everybody! Well, I'm back home from work now and gratefully gearing up for Thanksgiving, The Sequel. lol. Everybody should be here in about an hour, so my dishes are done, food is already cooked so it's just a matter of putting it in the microwaves and oven. Yay! Here we go again.
2TA, Furfriend2, Jazzy, Onco and Nel, thanks for your Thanksgiving Day wishes. And Onco, if you will tell me what time you will be standing on your porch singing O Canada, I will join you from my porch.
Mommyof2, thank goodness your mom is ok after her nasty fall. It's scary, isn't it?
Onco, I like nice phone visits with my DD's too.
Have a good day everyone.

Sounds like a great time Red!
Grateful to be sitting in the recliner with my feet up after a busy day.
-
10/13: grateful the weather forecasters are predicting today was the last of the heat spell; 95* today, down to the low 80's the rest of the week. Also very grateful for a cozy sofa today, I think my body is in need of rest after all the stress I've been under and seasonal allergies/migraines kicking in. Did a lot of napping today
-
10/13- grateful for a good workout at the gym this morning and relatively easy day at work!
Onco- do you have a credit card with them? They give me one called an MPV which means I must buy a lot there. I get 30% on the flyer they send quite a bit. It does get you in the store!
I like the designer lines there- Dana Buchman, Chaps, Vera Wang the best.
-
Yes it is Red, especially when she has several health problems and I live two hours away. Her first words to me when she called me about the fall was "don't freak out but I fell".

Today I'm kind of grateful I could go to work. I know it sounds strange but after all of the events over the past weekend, I needed to normality of a day at the office.
Onco, I'm pretty sure I did hear everybody and while you play the piano very well, I did hear a few discordant voices and I swear there were some lyrics I've never heard before. moo. Sorry about the rain. Are you original from Norway? That movie sounded very inspiring.
Ruth, I guess needing to get back to work means I would have liked some feet up time. lol
Mommyof2, I know what you mean. I got a text message the other week that started with "we're all okay but..." so I totally get it.
Jazzy, I haven't been to the gym in 2 weeks. I think I can go now though, my back feels better.
2TA, napping is good and wonderful. Take em whenever you can.
Have a good sleep everyone.

Grateful for a beautiful day & that I didn't get a call to sub (yesterday I subbed in a 7th grade Science class....anyone know the game you play at a fair called 'Whack the Mole', where you 'whack' a mole figure as it pops out and a whole bunch more moles pop up? Well, that was what my day was like!)
-
oh, Ruth, sounded like you needed the day off!
Red, envy you having a job to go to. Besides the financial aspect, looking forward to having some place other than home to go to.
10/14: grateful that I had an opportunity to look back over the past couple of weeks. Though it seems like a lot longer, two weeks ago today had a great day enjoying lunch with a couple BCO friends, then got to spend some time at the beach. One of the best days I've had in a very ling time. Last week today, Mom had just gotten out of the hospital and DH was in ER. Must have picked up the ickies at one of those two hospital stays. Also grateful it was so much cooler today, even a possibility of sprinkles tomorrow.
-
Yeah, I mean she knew either way I was going to freak out! Thank goodness my younger brother was with her when she fell and had the presence of mind to help her up and get her care in a timely manner!
-
10/15- glad to have an opportunity to do some entrepreneurial consulting with my business today. And also having a break from my other client site today, yesterday was rough!
-
Today I am really grateful for a productive Environment meeting. We are going to Get 'er Done!!!!
Ttyl, another meeting in 5 mins.
