Would you do it again?

Hortense:  I am so sorry about your situation. But understand that everyone doesn't necessarily feel the same way.  Just think of the cutting we're allowing be done to our bodies, and the chemicals with which we're trying to nearly kill ourselves but stop just short, and the pain and the worry.  I think I'd probably rather know, especially the first time. But, for me, I fully understand that everyone doesn't necessarily want to know, or perhaps doesn't want to go through the treatment (that has its own very real possibilities of making one's life worse, including other cancers, damaged organs, etc.).  I wish you and your husband all the best, and that you each get what you need from the situation.
