Spookie sorry the rain is making you hurt. It's wet and gray here too. UGH.Chevy, Please give a call to the Leu gardens in Orlando and see if the butterfly exhibit is worth seeing right now. Not sure at all b/c of time of year. But it's highly rated. As our the gardens
DGS's house sounds GREAT!. Did his Mom guide him? I know in the past you've said she was a Real Estate agent.Blondie, hope you are having a nice weekend. ZZZZZ---have DH put wig on and wear it for an hour outside. LOL. ACE
enjoy. PattyP Funny girl. Hot? You should see Chevy's shades. Sparkles and Las Vegas strip flair. I tried to steal them, but she had them hidden.DBF and I are being polite now, after words. Usually, I just let him be. The octagon points on the bolt are gone. He says, it's not striped. I see $$$$$$$$ signs. Car NOT driveable now.

Lovely photo of lovely ladies!
Congrats to you Ace!
Blondie- I am jealous too. would love to be on a beach right now.
Oh no Sas! you know he will never admit he was wrong! introduce him to youtube- lots of great how-to auto videos available.
How is everyone doing?
Went canoeing with the BF for his bday on Tuesday:
it was really lovely.
Been battling my LE, trying to get my flamenco dancing right, working serious OT, and now dealing with a LOT of surprise bleeding. (no periods since i started chemo last June) My ONC said not to worry unless it continues over a week, but my gyn wants me to come in. So I think i am going to go in just to make sure. Anyone else on Tamoxifen have issues?
to you all!jeni

Jwoo- the works aren't out? The works if left, are they there for future conception? These are rhetorical questions, I don't expect a response here in and open forum or in a PM. Looks from bio above one boob ER+. HMMMmmmmm Did I post here or somewhere else re : 1996 ooph and hyster?Serene canoe trip
glad you an BF had a nice day on a lazy river with beautiful scenes AHHHHhhhhhhh -
Jwooo, the added problem........he has come so far since I first met him. He has no clue about saving money, or planning for bills. I know How does a life long planner get together with a life long non-planner----------Great sex. -
Not YOUR new car? Men! Can't live with them, can't kill 'em.
We got notice the dogs are due for shots. I said mobile clinic is at Walgreens sometimes. Watch for signs..
He says, is that Walgreens 24 hours? No, why? He was going to take Kris real early and get his shots.
ARRRRGGGHHHH

Love the pic, ladies. I agree it's nice to put a face with the name.
Sorry not posting much. Fighting migraine...it's let up a bit, earlier I couldn't stand Any light much less look at the screen.
-
Spookie, you are a funny one.....
Chevster, Sas & Spookie......great photo, happy you three were able to get together !
Jwow, I am taking Arimidex, hate it but we have no choice, do we?
Badger, now I need to google that song...
.Duthchie, were both parades in the same community? We have 3 parades a year in my rural town.... Oh & the homecoming parade, so 4... I loved the 4th of July parade when I was a kid...
I have been on a shopping binge & a popcorn pig out. My cousin daughter is pregnant with a baby girl. She had a premie about 4 years ago. The baby lived for 3 months & then died. Heartbreaking. I cannot stop myself from going crazy with the shopping, no grand kids for me, none on the future horizon.
Basement & laundry painted, carpet gets laid next week.....looks so good, I love fresh paint...
zjrose, glad you like your wig, I bought one.....never wore it, not once.....wore beanies, hats. I do like my short hair now. I have had long hair ( or shoulder length ) most my life. The short hair was easy, requires more fussing now that it is a little longer...
-
yes, GG, both parades are in the same city. There was one Thursday and one today. They used to be 1.5 weeks apart but the shortened Octoberfest this year. I didn't go today. I finished painting my livingroom. Tomorrow I'll pay the price.
-
Omg, I can't believe it's 1 am.
-
gm ladies. Anyone still up ?
-
Dutch- i am tired just thinking about painting the house! actually, it isnt the painting, it is all the prep work and cleanup that is such a pain! but i bet your place looks great now.
Holein1- you are a busy bird too! and i have 9 friends that are pregnant- so i totally understand the shopping binge. I don't and will never have kids, so no grandbabies, but i am an awesome auntie!
Sas- no removal of anything but my breasts and some lymph-nodes. While i have no plans to become pregnant, at my age they did not want to go that route since my BRACA came back negative, even with heavy family history of all kinds of cancer. i am not sure i am ready for that unless it is absolutely needed.
planner/not planner- whew! that sex better be good!! it will hopefully keep you from strangling him.
Netti- hope your migraine is short-lived. I've had 2 in my life- worst things ever.
Spookie- sorry the rain makes you hurt. you can send it on over my way- we are still so drrryyyy.
Camster- hope your computer gets fixed up soon. Things aren't the same without you posting here.
Chev- have I told you how much i
your hair? I do! Ace! (my favorite Doctor Who companion!) did you get your appointment?
PattyP- how are you doing?
Magdaline- can we see some pics of your glass collection? and you too Sas. I love it and want to oogle your cabinets from afar.
How is everyone else?
who's starting to gear up for the holiday season? i know i am ready!
xoxo- jeni

Morning gals... I am so WET! I mean I love the rain, but it usually is supposed to subside eventually, right? It's a wonder any of you from these parts have any wrinkles!
I thought wrinkles were from aging and drying up.... but that's an impossibility to dry up here.... But the sprinkles and light rain are sooooooo good.... those heavy downpours that make you slosh when you walk are a bit much.... Ha!
My Crocs have been flooded so many times, I'm afraid to wear real shoes! I see them wearing Flip Flops here... That way the rain just runs in and out again!
Going home Tuesday.... OH! DD took a picture of the new shoes I was looking at for my um...... job....! I'll post when I get home. We went to Olde Town Orlando last night ... That is the FUNNEST place!!! Saw the old cars, and then their parade at 8:30! I'm becoming a night -owl with you guys!
We even slept until 7!!! Sheri says..... "FINALLY!"
-
Looks like i'ma gonna have to call the dummy doc's office about the referral tommorrow, otherwise my upcoming appointments are set!
-
you mean storms like this?

-
Ok, so this is a WTH moment for me as the surgeon said nothing like this, actually released me for a year. ??????
-
Nettie if you allow every moment to be a WTH moment you destroy your well being. If you make it part of our life, then you affect our well being. Call the doc and make an appointment. -
Looks pretty self explanatory to me.
-
I'm just confused because i just saw the Dr that ordered it this past Wednesday. He released me for a year. And he is the same dr that was very adamant about having a mammo every six months for the first two years. I will be calling
-
Chit just found out this iS Sunday, not SATURDAY -

-
Sas- I HATE it when that happens!
-

Holidays r approaching...

The car won't start. Did before. Now won't. The positive is I bought DBF AAA with towing included.Nettie, let the worry go, just go back and ask him what's up. This is the daily thing of BC. It doesn't get better. You will die from worry before you die from BC.
-
Jwoo & Dutchy and Blondie, I know. I love Sundays. There's such a sense of peace and relaxation about them. Even if I didn't do anything that wasn't a Sunday thing. Even if I had worked all day on a Sunday. I missed thinking it was Sunday.Hello MONDAY

Deleted the post as not to affect the well being of others on this thread!

I wish I had found this thread several hours ago! I've been up since 2 am. Just had my first dose of chemo on Friday and I'm hoping the insomnia is only a tempoary SE from the steroids. No matter what the cause, it complicates the day when I'm already dealing with chemo brain. Just thankful that I decided to work from home today and can take a little downtime between meetings. -

2ndTime/Maddy, thanks for the reminder. It should be a holiday considering what it does to get folks out of bed, and off to work ! I am on my 3rd cup, love my Joe.....
Cooking up a storm this morning, having my walking group over for Italian dinner. Lasagna, five cheese penne, salad, bread & red wine. My circle of good friends have had DH & I over for dinner so many times in the last 14 months. I told DH we will never catch up...
Happy Monday to all...
Sas, Spookie, you guys are getting so much rain.....is this normal? Chevster is going to need a boat to get home...
-
Welcome LA Rock,
I had insomnia before breast cancer & of course it has continued. I do not fight it anymore, if I cannot sleep after 1/2 hour, I take 1/3 of a Ambien. I realize most people do not like that drug, it works for me.
I grew up in Covina, my father was on the LAPD. We have several ladies on this thread that live in S. Ca.
-
No, this much rain, at this time of year is not normal. Sunday we got almost 10" in 24 hours. And it's not stopping for the rest of the week. Daily showers, yes. Not even a hurricane!
CHEVY will be glad to get home to dry out!
