Okay Ace. That'll be oen of your monikers, oops theirs another one. MOniker.
Old saying " a child of many name's is much loved" .
Blessing,I was thinking of you and acupuncture, wondered, have you done foot massage? It's like a full body massage. I make sure I'm laying down. Put's me to sleep. A very heavy deep sleep. The relaxation is tremendous. Use to make sure DSis or DH did mine first. They never caught on. Sounds like your almost to a resolution on the apnea thingy. YAYYAYAYAY DH used a machine too. Night and day difference. Just wish he'd started 20 years sooner. Resisted it until all the physical problems got so bad, next step was dying. Then he gave in.

I don't know why the picture didn't post here! It WAS here, and then POOF! I can't work this lap-top thing worth a darn! So I'll post it when I get home... like Tuesday or Wednesday...
We went shopping today at the Factory outlets! We bought all kinds of "stuff!" All supposed to be together again tonight...
Sass, please post again the name of that special Thyroid test to ask for... Or the genetic test of whatever it is.... I was talking to DD about what you were talking about, like I sort of knew, or something, and she is interested in having that checked out with their Son....
Okay.... this lap-top drives me nuts with no mouse.... but at least I can spell properly.... Ha!
-
I can't see the pic either
-
Chevy, on the keyboard, below the keys, is there a small indented square? That is the mouse. Use a finger to move the cursor around. See how that works.
-
Chevy, I'll cut and paste from the Older thread and send you a PM on the lab studies. Very important to get the book. All the info is on the STTM web site. But the book is a better presentation. It takes work to absorb everything. Makes it easier to have the book. Difficult to curl up with the computer
it also, makes it easier to reread sections. The next difficulty, is to find a doc that agrees to not only order the labs, but then dose with a porcine thyroid according to symptoms versus lab tests only.I was incredibly lucky that my PCP doc is so open to it. She has patients that she already manages on porcine thyroid. Armour or equivalent dessicated thyroid. The STTM locator indicated the closest doc that they had on record is in Winterpark, Fl. Would have been a hike from here. Might not be a hike for your DGS.
Because I was around when orthodox medicine was really getting a strangle hold on all of medicine, I can see the weaknesses of orthodox medicine. In the case of Thyroid, the book gives an excellent historical perspective of how things developed over the last 150 years. I had to reach bottom, the depths of severe hypothyroidism, before I accepted something was seriously wrong with how orthodox medicine was managing thyroid. There are other areas that orthodox medicine have mucked things up, but that's not for this post.
The positive IS, I did reach bottom. May sound strange, but it sent me on a quest to learn. That learning leads me to believe that Thyroid mismanagement is the ROOT CAUSE for so many illnesses. Much can be found on the internet that supports these thoughts.
I've meet people over time that become a one issue person. By that I mean, they can turn any conversation to their one issue. My Dad was my first experience with this in the sixties. He got into Juicing&Nutrition, Chiropractic, Reflexology, and enemas. All us kids had a cooperative plan of diversion, when he would start to bend someone's ear. Now here I sit. I find my self on the precipice of doing that very thing.

My pic of the jars I gave Spookie and Phyllis, show up on edit, but not in the post ???? -
Enjoying the nice feeling of sitting back with my feet up after having a somewhat busy day and reflecting back to one year ago when I was in the hospital at this time for my bmx
-
OMD do I see correctly OWLETTES, No posts in 14 hours? Could it mean that everyone slept well? Unheard of! If we all slept well JOY TO THE WORLD!
-
ACE Congratulations One Year YAY. Enjoy your day. Are you doing anything special today? -
I was painting my living room while simultaneously watching/listening to a local high school football game. My alma mater played local team. Our starting QB broke his ankle in last week's game. Both teams were 6 - 0 and we won 3 - 0. It was an incredible game. I was exhausted after all that and slept hard. I don't feel so well this morning. I hope I feel better once I get busy with my day.
Congrats on one year Ace!

Good Morning ladies
Ace (I like that name) OK 1 yr--that's good.
OK I see NO PICS. WTF CHEVY, I'm sure u have something to do with this bizarre tale--yes u make u'rself all innocent and pure--HA u don't fool me--yea smoking and drinking that's all u and no one is innocent actually in this group---WTF am I saying, I don't even know right now. I want pics. See what happens when I don't get what I want, I get all confusticated.
OK hopefully I'm getting my puter looked at today--and I'll order what I need when I get paid--so I'm still nursing it. so I csn't be on it to long--but when I get it all fixed up--u'll see lots of me and my criticism of u know who--cuz I know the real person behind the charade. (no name mentioned)
OH BTW Chevy you do sound like u'r having a wonderful time and that's how it should be--see I told you all u'r good times don't have to be in a lowlife saloon---now u know a better life. MUAH
IN fact MUAH to all of u
Oh I'm planning on going for brunch tomorrow at 10:00am--wow that's early. I enjoy buffet but not so much anymore--to many trips tire me out. LOL

love the pic. Always nice too see a pic of those we have been talking too. No one looks like I had imagined. You ladies are hot !! Probably had to beat those old men from fl off with a cane since you didn't have your dog protection. Chevy. Hope you enjoy the rest of your visit with family.
-
hi all, great pix! Nothing like meeting IRL (in real life). Except now I have that bus driver song in my head - she drinks, she smokes, she tells dirty jokes... Three cheers for you ladies ♥
-
Ohh Chevy, head shots only. LOL. The 40 lb weight gain with the stupid thyroid. Oh well, Does explain though why I wasn't happy with Endocr. doc.
-
All will sympathize with me. DBF has MANY skills Car engines is not one. He knew a guy that was going to help. But the guy wanted DBF to do something in return. It would have been okay, but he didn't make that plain up front. DBF P.O.' decides to do job himself. The road to disaster is not quite complete. But a torqued bolt with an pneumatic drill in the wrong direction until the drill burned out????? is strong indicator things are going in the wrong direction. Why do I, who knows nothing, know it is the wrong direction. I asked what he was doing, then asked google, then asked DBF if he was turning bolt counterclock or clockwise. "Clockwise". Then he reads the info. BUT still won't admit he did it wrong.
Bolt--caution do not turn bolt in wrong direction, etc with very complete directions
Does this fall under--relationship test 101 ???????

Okay you guys! Thank you miss smarty-pants Spookers! I could do it at home, but not with this whatever it is! You guys all rock! I've read all your comments, and HAH! Yes, we ARE wild and crazy women....
Like you want me to edit, and then post Sassy? WTH? I couldn't even get to square ONE, much less revise and shrink, and whatever the hell ELSE you wanted me to do! I just didn't want all my necks visible.... I needed photo-shop, or something...
And so I guess we all should just be happy we are HERE, or THERE, and together! What would I do without you guys?
Okay, so this morning we went to Winter Garden! It was great.... No rain either! Shopped around with whole family! Went to see Brandon's house last night! I was amazed! Damn kid with his own house, swimming pool with LIGHTS and FOUNTAINS and such a beautiful place!
I slipped on the wet tiles out back..... I just have one question.... Is there ever a day when you guys don't get rain? I said before, and I believe it now, you guys are all going to wake up some morning under the ocean! It's just a matter of time....
But you know, it is so beautiful out! Rain, sprinkles, sun, rain, wetness abounds around here! And those tail-less lizard things!
Love bugs were landing on us everywhere today! What IS this place? No-one has any decorum... are they ALWAYS hooked together?
They need to get a life.... go shopping at Walmart or something!
Tonight we are going to Olde Town Orlando! Car show or something....
Okay gals... The screen just went 1/2 size.... BBtomorrow! Love you all....
-
Spookie! So the boss-dogs liked the treat-bag? Sheri says anything "Dingo" is good.... I brought out those little liver-treats from Walmart... (where else?) I even had to go out and cut sprigs of Rosemary.... Sheri said..... So it would all smell good!
You can roast something with it.... or maybe not...OH! And I even had to tie it with raffia stuff! I'm glad we could meet!
You gals are the best.... Wish we ALL could have met up and partied!
Yes Cammi.... You just had to blab about my saloon days.... Ha! Would you please say hi on the Older Women's thread from me! I am not exactly proficient on this thing.... xoxoxoxo
-
You ladies look fabulous. Gives me hope for when I get off the cancer planet. Hair just about gone. Hubby liked the wig so much he said he doesn't want me to grow hair back! Teehee
-
Hmmmpfff. It's Supposed to be going into the dry season here. Somebody forgot to tell ol Ma Nature. We've had more rain in Sept than we did all summer. I hate it, it makes me hurt.
Love bugs. What else can you call them? They only come out twice a year. May and Sept. They have no predators. They don't bite. They just fly around joined, and can really ruin your cars paint. I see 3 on my car, need to get them off.
-
Yay joey

Didn't do much to celebrate the 1 yr anniversary of the surgery. Spent some mommy time with my furbabies and ended the evening by curling up in my recliner with a good book.
