how about drinking?

Why should you have to behave on the drinking thread? No rules, just fun. What's the running away about?

Okay, I just lost it with my 12 yr old. He's really pissing me off with his f'ing perfectionism. Add mine to it and we're not working.
I just had a conversation over the weekend about the F word. How there just sometimes is no other word that will work to describe something. Like how f'ing pissed you are, how f'ing hot it is, what an f'ing good time you had, etc. -
-
-
My husband totally dislikes the word. I don't have too many vices and using that word is one of them. It's just a novelty to me. I also know when it is appropriate(if that can be) and when it is not.
How old is your son? Hope you are both okay and he doesn't "deserve" it anymore.
Gotta go run the kid to soccer practice. I'll have my beer later.
lini -
oh!!!! well I "never" use the "f" word........are ya'll crying with laughter yet???????
-
lini,
I hope everything is okay also!!!!
1 Tequila
2 Tequila
3 Tequila.......Floor.
.
.
Uh oh.. trashed again
Not tequila.. Martinis, yeah! I said that I would get trashed and here I am !
You know, I was just thinking (dangerous), BC just totally sucks! I hate my new boobs, I keep thinking that I will die in a few years, What do I have to look forward to? We are talking about just cashing in everything, getting an RV, and traveling around the country. You know, my Mom died of cirrhosis. Talk about a family history .
I don't know what to do .
sorry to be so down, but I'm drinking and feeling shitty!
I'm sorry, I'm usually such a happy drunk, but I am feeling really down tonight.

Oh Shel,
Puleeeze! No F-word????? I would just die!!!!
Jan -
G'night guys. Going to bed now. Can't do this anymore. You have no idea how long it took me to write this!!!
Jan -
are you kidding?????
i invented a few variations of the "f" word lol!!!!!
i was sooooo joking!
seriously though........it's ok to feel down and wonder about the future.......we all do it!!!!!!
in my family nobody wants to hear it so i keep it all to myself, but i think we all recognize those thoughts!!!!!
i really don't think i've got a "great big old 'lifetime' to enjoy either.......but i'll sure as hell enjoy my time now!!!!! -
-
I don't have new nips. I am waiting for my "finished Product". I'll get over this, as always. BC just totally sucks and sometimes I have a hard time dealing.
We are all strong and we will survive!! It's nice to have everyone here to talk to. Thanks!!!
Jan -
Shel,
I so understand how you feel. It just sucks! No wonder we drink.
Sometimes I don't know how I get from one day to the next!
This whole BC thing is enough to drive a real person to drink. I guess this our new "normal". I hate it!! I feel bad for DH. He has been there for me through everything. I feel bad putting all this on him. Thank God you ladies are here for me!!!
Seriously!!!!
Jan -
Thanks everyone!
Going to bed now. Tomorrow will be better!
Love,
Jan -

Lini, I have noticed that you call yourself names.
I'm just always second guessing myself on these posts. Wondering how they come off. I'm actually quite wonderful! LOL!! I actually have had a really good life. Nothing to complain about. Just always been hard on myself. And I am weird and proud of it. I am neither black nor white. I am hard to figure out. Been trying for years. That's why I've been with same guy so long,(since 14) he never knows what he's getting. I keep evolving. It's a surprise from day to day, year to year. Keeps him on his toes. I am a dichotomy. I am neither conservative or liberal. I am just me. Thanks for worrying about me, though. Wow, I sound a bit psycho don't I. I guess I can be that too. Oops, called myself a name again. It's just in fun. -
-
Jan - sorry you're feeling down, but that's what we're here for! Feel free to vent or whatever anytime. Great thing about this thread - NO RULES!!! (that I'm aware of)
I'm on a Chard tonight. Cheap, but surprisingly okay. Smoking Loon. It got high marks in Wine Spectator so I tried it, and for $8 a bottle isn't bad at all. Also - they have a promotion on now - if you buy 6 bottles, you can get a $12 refund.
I'm all into getting money back for drinking.
Cheers sistas!

Okay, if not weird, how about inexplicable, surprising, funny, astonishing, perplexing, incomprehensible, puzzling, enigmatic, unexpected, remarkable
as opposed to:
odd, bizarre, outlandish, eccentric, weird, weird and wonderful, extraordinary, out of the ordinary, peculiar, abnormal, unexpected
Pick one for me Debi, and I'll use it just to make you a happy girl. -
ok........i'm straight up sober, but i'm really lost lol! so i'm going to pack mac's lunch and flip my laundry, maybe after that i'll even remotely "get it" lololol
-
en·ig·mat·ic [ ènnig máttik ] or en·ig·mat·i·cal [ ènnig máttik'l ] adjective
Definition: hard to understand: having a quality of mystery and ambiguity and so difficult to understand or interpret
Okay, that's better. LOL!! -
ooooohhhh!!!!!!

he's being quite "enigmatic".........and generally just pissing me off so........i'm going to bed "mad".....not my favourite thing to do!!!!!! -
It's so totally in the air right now. Must be the change of seasons, even though it's still frickin' hot over here.
-

-
