Smaarty!! S/he is beautiful. Yours? Mpoo? Spoo? Post more please!!!!!name?
I had an apricot Mpoo. His name was Rooney, Celtic for red head. He was a rescue. RIP Rooney boy.

-
sorry spookie, not my dog, found on Google and I picked him/her because of red hair. What's the m in mpoo? I know that poo is poodle. I had a chocolate poodle as a wedding gift, I named her Nipples! How fitting now, haha!
-
Tpoo toy poodle
Mpoo miniature poodle
Spoo standard poodle
-
this is what Nipples looked like. She lasted 17 years.

-
Awwwwww what a sweetie!
-
DAMN that girl's smart.... Smarty! We should keep her around....
-
Geeeez Chevy you're up late tonight ! Big night at the club?
-
such cute pups!
-
am i the only one still awake?

-
Nope. Newbie here. Just started chemo and the brain wont quit.
-
Hi there ZJ! welcome to the worst club ever
it is filled with amazing people though. I see you are on the good ol AC. Definitely not the friend of sleep. Are you feeling okay otherwise?
-
I am grateful for feeling pretty good. A/C was Monday. I took the neulasta shot last night and so far no bone pain today. This is the second night. Looking forward I will start Herceptin for 12 months, Perjeta for 6, Taxol for 12 weeks and radiation. It seems like a very high mountain to climb right now and a very long journey. I will probably not finish the last Herceptin until next December. I am 71 and in pretty good health but spending a year on the cancer planet again is not pleasant to think about. (I was treated for a different cancer in '08 but the treatment was only for 6 weeks of chemo and rads.)
-
Glad to hear you are feeling okay, but sorry you are having to go through cancer treatment again. It does seem like forever when you are in treatment, but I hope it passes quickly for you. AC and i got along better than me and Taxol (as I was allergic.) Just remember to keep yourself super hydrated and rest as much as you need.

Thanks for the good advice. I am going to try to take things one day at a time and not project to far into the future. On the bright side we are expecting a little great granddaughter around Christmas time. That is something to cheer things up. Nice to meet you and hope to talk again. I am going to take your advice and try to get some rest

Welcome zj--I'm sorry u have so much to go thru again--but we're here to help in any way we can--this is a nice group to share with.
Mea culpa---speling may be wrong, after all I can't spell in English let alone Latin (Chevy) I haven't been her for a little bit.
Tang I'm so sorry all this is happening, I hate when Drs. say never saw this before--I usually ask to see their drivers license then, cuz it's crazy---it just better work out OK. We're all with you.
Jwow u'r back (and front) are here and I'm glad u'r friend is better what a horrible accident.
And all the furbabies, AWWWW so cute too.
One of my girlfriends called and she's going to pick me up today for lunch, we're just going to my other GF's house. these are my HS friends, Except they look wonderful still so I hate them.
Well Chevy all that worrying for nothing--see I told u--And u were going to try to pick up extra shifts in Stripperland--oops was that a secret. U wouldn't have made much anyway. So I thought they got u from u'r tips from the club over the last 25 yrs. But then I thought I don't think she made that much.
OH OH I almost lot this post so I'd better submit it.

Morning gals! Hope you can see these pictures....! So funny.... One of them is about a Grandma.... but I can't relate....
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/al-aska-sh...
JWOW.... I'm so glad you were awake to talk to zlemop or something.... Maybe her name is Zebra... hope you come back soon! We can help you out... We don't know a THING about medical stuff, but we can make you smile sometimes.
I had a Lumpectomy too, but it was so long ago, I've almost forgotten about it....
Cammi and I are the strippers on this thread.... more or less.... Mostly less now, because we are getting "up there".... And everything we say makes no sense whatsoever.
Spookers.... Yes, I am almost a night owl! I stayed up until about 8! Watched stuff, but didn't want to hear or see what was going on in the world, so I watched mindless stuff.
Hence...... nothing new here.
It's supposed to SNOW here, maybe tomorrow or night? That's assuming they know what they are talking about! And get down to 31????? OMG that is electric blanket weather...!!!!
-
Some of you are really earlybirds. Time for sleep in this part of the world.

-
Morning Alyson! I forgot.... This is where my DD and I are going today...

It's supposed bo be indredible.... this guy is a master with glass.... Sassy, have you seen his work?

MORNING OWLETTES, Sunny and dry
here in paradise
Jwoo so happy to see you. Your friend is doing better YAY. Awful accident. Sounds like he had great docs. I know it a superfluous question. Did they life flight him? What level trauma center was he in? What hospital? Did they have one or two orthopedic teams? Did they have an Cardiothoracic surgeon too? What community was his accident in? Ohio was my old stomping grounds. Was very involved in trauma and EMS. That's why the questions. You can ignore if you want.
A break is taken for a reason
sometimes it's better not to catch up
And jump in on the page you return too.:)Tang Hugging
Sounds like they are moving fast? One day at a time.
Cami hope the stripper club was fun

Chevy YAY taxes are done. I have a fear that the "letter" will come and say the same thing. Glad yours are fixed
I worry about next year b/c of the car thing. Hope it doesn't trip an audit. Chevy, new ear problem. It's a" now what thingy"---sound is hurting my ears. Any explanation? Never heard of such a thing. Just standard noise. Nothing blaring.Z- welcome, insomnia sucks big time, so does all the rest of BC. I put a bunch of links in the topic box. Retrospectively, I think the reality for sleep, is to get time and distance from all the all the BC stuff and drugs. When I was taking AI's the only thing that worked for me was sleep when I could. Sometimes that was much of the day and just accept being up at night. I took Ativan and melatonin too. But now off Ai's & Ativan. Still take melatonin sometimes. I just kind of go with the flow and work with the whatever. If you need a bed day take

Off to check housekeeping threads. Have a day that doesn't interfere with you
BBl sassy -
I'll tell you Sassy, when the little girls next door do their little girl scream thing, it just sends me through the roof! Not to mention when I am in a store, and that shrill, high sound just pierces my ears. I thought it was because of my hearing aids... but YOU have it too?
If I ever have to have my hearing "tested" I would go to Costco, because they do it free.... SURE, they want you to buy their hearing aids, but you don't have to.... A regular ENT will charge you for the test.... It is more extensive, but the end result is the same.
Your Doctor might be able to tell you what is going on, or have you googled it? Maybe allergies, like mold or something? God only knows, you guys don't have WEEDS there, but other stuff can be the problem. Have you tried treating that with Claritin? What about trying Debrox or something.... even plain old olive-oil..... just a couple drops in your ears... it CAN'T hurt.... just do these things before you go in..... I've even flushed out my ears with a water-pik, but that is for any wax, or debris, or spiders you have in there. It's probably in your "inner-ear" anyway.... Maybe your tympanic structure? Just plain noise? Then I don't know.... sounds like a job for super-man to me.
-
Sassy, try this.... Also, are you taking anything different? You KNOW what interactions our medical conditions and meds can cause.....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperacusis
And did you read that I am going to see the Chiluly exhibit today at the Denver Botanic Gardens?
-
Just copied this from Warm & Fuzzies
CHEVY, reminded me of the pics of the mushrooms in your yard LOL
-
Oh I KNOW! Scared me 1/2 to death the first time I saw one, and that's the one I picked and took to work! Then they started coming up wild! Damndest thing I ever saw!
-
Good morning and thanks for the welcome. I did get a few hours of sleep. Today I am off to a TaiChi class then tonight a funeral for a friends spouse. Hope you are all doing well today. I have had very few sides from the AC and neulasta. Hope it stays that way. Wow guys, snow in Sept! Guess it is going to be another cold snowy winter. Love, ZJ
-

zjrose, we love newbies, Welcome to this thread. I am happy for you that A/C is tolerable. I thought it was legal torture. Taxol was much easier for me.
Jwow, hello to you, love your new avatar. Nice to hear your friend is doing as well as can be expected.
Chevster, have a rockin day with DD at the Botanical Gardens. I missed the one in DC, ran out of time. Wear sensible shoes. Those 5 inch stilettos might be a tad too much.
Sas, ok Missy, you got me hooked on looking for pieces of glass. I found a pretty bowl, shaped unique. It is Lennox, called Falling Star. Full lead crystal. Never been used, still has the 2 Lenox stickers on it. I paid $10, I thought that was a steal. When I got home I found them pretty cheap ( $20- $40 ) on eBay. The shipping on them is high. I love it, so that's what matters. I am trying to declutter, and that is difficult when you are always looking for the next deal...
Gotta run.....BBL.....hello to all....
-
Ok ladies, just giving this a shot in the dark....DH and I want to take a vacation to Gatlinburg, TN, never been! We are taking any and all suggestions as to what Hotel/Motel would be nice to stay in! We've tried to book a cabin, but waited to long and most of the affordable cabins are booked!
-
wow Chevy, you're cold enough for snow and were going to be in the 100s all week. Crazy planet!
Welcome ZJ, if you're a little crazy like the rest of us, you'll fit right in! We are from all over the place, US, Canada, New Zealand, and Hawaii (I know, but that's for time references), so someone is almost always up and can response back. We have early birds and late risers. Oh, and we love coffee and owls.
Chevy, jealous of the art exhibit, would love to see him someday.
4sew, are you lurking? Been good? How's the new foob doing? Tang, hope you're getting some answers. Big hug.
-
Ya'all just watch Chevy. She's gonna get snowed on, get confuseled, pack her boots and parka, then come to Orlando and MELT!!!!!!!
-
Smaarty, I am definitely a bit more than a little crazy. Just ask my hubby! I am thinking of wimping out on my TaiChi class as I have a funeral tonight and don't want to miss that. The lady I volunteered with in the prek nursery at church's husband died this week and I want to be there for her.
I was having a bit of a pity party this morning but am over it. Did the laundry, changed beds and some general cleaning. BTW I am 71 and retired so I can sleep on my schedule thank God. -
zjrose,
You are amazing! A/C did not like me, and I did not it! Sorry to hear about your friends husband. Never easy. Remember, you just had chemo 3 days ago, so, take it easy....
