Words are powerful
but my talent is still weak
I'm getting better.
I think
-
There's no need to think
You prove it with each Haiku
You are talented!
-
Awww thanks Monica!
My words sometimes get mixed up
But desire is there
-
I meet people here
Would love to see in person
well, maybe someday!
-
Hi to all, so tired,
Long hard days at work this week
Can't wait for Friday.
-
hi all, I've been off the boards for a while. DH took some time off for vacation so besides him hogging the computer, I had to keep him on task working the honey-do list. Hope this finds you well!
~~~~~~~~~
A toast for my friend
Linda-n3 who, sadly,
Earned her wings last week.
~~~~~~~~~
Music of the Spheres.
Bonfire of the Goddesses.
Linda, here's to you! ♥
~~~~~~~~~
Fine old single malt
or blended Scotch, it's all good.
Sip and savor life.
-
Linda??? Nooo. Oh Badger I am so sorry. She was a nice lady.
-
Oh alas alas
Linda - n earned her new wings
Another has passed
Once again the world
Has lost another bright light
Leaving behind tears
-
Yesterday was bad.
My meltdown was epic. Boo.
Today is better.
Some days you would be better off staying in bed. Lol
-
Red, i always think if you are gonna have a melt down, then go ahead and have a good one!! but i do hope you are ok, whatever it was is resolved, and good things come your way.
moon, i sure do hope to meet you some day!
-
I want to meet you too Moon! For that matter Kathec and Badger too.
Golfing with my friends,
Sunshine, fresh air and good laughs.
Happy times today.
-
"Move over, Bobby!"
Big black Lab hogs the front seat.
Tail thumps back window.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Parking lot haiku.
Occupants of nearby car:
Man and happy dog! ♥
-
Well. Turning 60
Whether or not I party
So I partied hard!

Happy sixtieth birthday.
Hugs from Canada.
-

-
Storms last night blew in
A wave of cold with chill winds.
Farewell Summertime! ♥
-
Moon! happy 60! you are so tiny! and, is that a necklace you made? it is so pretty and simple! and you are beaming wonderfully! hello to all, and one of these days i should really attempt to make a poem again.
love the one you wrote about the the lab in the car, badger! wow! that is a big dog, or a small car!!
-
Sunfire creeps downward.
Treetops, branches, now the ground.
Oblique morning light. ♥
-
Missing Mother Moon!
Maybe still recovering
From turning sixty? ♥
-
Nighttime comes early
As autumn arrives. Crisp air,
shedding leaves, it's fall!
-
Nice, Badger and Red!
Here's one of my fall poems, enjoy!
Autumn Falls
The vista will glow
in tones of orange and red.
The eyes take it in,
Until the soul is fed.
Preparing for the days
Of little but black and white.
Now trying to absorb
Every color within sight.
For when those days of darkness
Begin to heavy lay,
Go deep within, without a doubt;
That's where the colors stay.
-
Lovely Moon! Just lovely. I often wonder if, as people age, they remember the colours they used to see clearly.
Age coming quickly
My eyes are slowly dimming
I miss colours most.
-
Red, that's lovely!
Sometimes life is wild
Sometimes life can be quiet
Sometimes life is life!.
-
Found my Magnetic Poetry Box. So here goes.
I wander through the library
Begin my search
Author, book, page
To excite and inspire my soul.
-
Oh, I like that Moon!! Very nice.
Crawling up the stairs,
Need to leave the basement now,
Dark thoughts go away!
-
took my first Zyban
for smoking cessation help
i am feeling so giddy!
(i have been reading your lovely Haiku's, ladies, but i am so terrible at it myself lately, as you can see that i have been avoiding posting here. but it is good toy read yours, and just to see the pictures of you smiling. i hope everything is going well for you, moon, and red, ok?
-
kathec you know we read anything! LOL glad you checked in. Here's a pic of my Bday party if you missed it
Red anything wrong or is it just winter coming? Maybe you need light therapy? I've been considering that myself.
-
I didn't get it,
the coveted NED,
possibly next time.
