Hi everyone,
If you have Netflix they have added a good movie on birders. Our resident birder who submits articles for our newspaper mentioned it today. He said it was very good. If you type in birders in the search it will come up. Sorry I don't know the whole title. Still not feeling well. It is almost two weeks now.
-
I saw some birds today..
-
Wow Lisa. I am so envious of all of your beautiful birds you have. The first pic looks like they have little red cones on their beaks. lol So unusual and beautiful.

-
Birdlady, such a sweet photo.
BTW The Netflix movie I was talking about is Birders The Central Park Effect. If you have Netflix it is really worth seeing if you are a bird lover. Also there is quite a bit of the movie about this lady who has terminal bc. She is definitely not letting her dx get in the way of her birding. Quite inspirational.

love the cardinal..
-
I believe the lady passed away in 2013.
The following was taken from on-line.

I enjoyed the movie when shown on HBO!
-
That was excellent show. I'm so sad the world lost such a wonderful lady. I hope some carries on in her footsteps. We have a little bird station outside our living room window and in front of our house. This spring we got so many migrating birds like the warbler, indigo bunting, rose breasted grosbeaks, Orioles... so beautiful! -

-
Lovely photos!!

^..^

I noticed that the birds are starting to flock in the North Country!
-
Teka, I was so sad to hear that Star had passed away. I kept thinking at the end of the movie they were going to say something like that but they didn't. I looked her obit. up. She was quite a lady for sure.
I am still dealing with stomach issues and trying to get to the bottom of it. I saw my doctor last Monday and he gave me some probiotics to try. Still not great. I am supposed to see him next Monday. I am praying it will resolve before then. It could be my body reacting to the Anastrozole (Arimidex). Anyone that is or has been on that have any issues with it at first?
The pictures are wonderful. Birdlady I love your little one. Such a cutie.
The blue bird is beautiful. I can't tell what that is. Do you know Maiden? Bluejay maybe?
-
I just now see you said it was an Indigo Bunting. I would be so thrilled if I saw one of those at my feeders.
-
Summer of 2013, heard but failed to see an indigo bunting.
Summer of 2014, a pair of indigo buntings came to the seed feeders.
No fledglings came to the feeders.
