Final Size After Exchange

Elizabethaw,
I did not notice a difference. They are both soft.

Hi Babyo,
It's good to hear you are doing well. I haven't notice much change in size or shape in the last couple weeks. I've read there will be changes over 2-3 months. I hope you like them! My 550s are wider with less projection than yours - 13.5 cm and 5.6 cm.
-
I want to measure them now since I measured my TE but then I will be worried about the numbers. I told him I wanted more narrow that they are in my arms but surprised he used the ultra since he said that is not common. I told him just make them fit my body. I not obsessing about size today which is a good thing. But tomorrow when j take off the bra afraid if my initial reaction. I was so worried about not bring big enough but now I am worried about being too big. Isn't that funny! It's like first we adjust to the TE to like them then we have to adjust to the implant. Just so emotional even though this is much better!

Wow, I did post in the thread where Whippetmom gives you advice. I had implants put in 10 years ago and ended up with 34D. I have felt like they were a little to big and wanted to be a full C. Now that I have the opportunity (gotta see the silver lining right?) I want to make them smaller. My breast tissue was about 350cc's (I was a 32B) and the doc I had at the time added another 350cc's. So a total of 700cc's in each breast. Going with that, and the fact I have rads in my future, my doc now wants 100cc's extra for the rads (that shrinks the TE) and another 100cc's for the surgery.
I have to go 200cc's over what I want to end up with . Whippetmom suggested Allergan Style 20 with 600cc's. You have Allergans 410 - 640 and are a 34DD or 36D. I have a 34 inch rib cage - what do you have? I will have another conversation with my doc as I have a fill scheduled in two weeks - I am now at 700cc's
-
Hi HomeMom,I'm not sure of my waist size though I do know its less than 34. I had had implants before cancer so when I had surgery I wanted the implants to fit my skin and the 550's did not. I happy with what I have now, also had fat grafting to two divots which helped a little. I don't want to have anymore surgery I went though a tough time.

been doing some reading on drop and fluff so wondering where there are good examples of pictures on the other site. I have looked but font see a specific thread on it. Also, I get the drop , it looks more natural right? Rather than go out it gets more in the lower part of the chest rather than the upper ploe. Either fluff you go out more, is that right? Like project more but how much size does it typically add to what you are?
Obviously I am still swelling which willtake awhile to go down but is the drop and fluff typically close to the size your swollen to or is the fluff just means that you get bigger all over? I like how itbis now, even though I haven't looked yet, but dread being bigger. Told him I liked the size but it's as big as I wanted when I should have said smaller. If he matched the size and then there is drop and fluff it will be bigger.
-
Sherry Did you mean to say rib cage and now waist? I used to be a 32B and when I measured my rib cage it was 34, must be the extra weight but 34 D's fit me after my augmentation. The Victoria Secret girl who fitted me told me that if you go up a cup size you go down band size. So I could wear a 36C or a 34D. I'm not sure how that is going to relate after recon.
-
HomeMom,prior to diagnosis I was a 34b than when I had implants also prior to CA I was a 34C..all depends on the bra and what feels comfortable but was told to wear no wire bras due to first implants rotating. I wear genie bras to bed.
-
all this time I thought I posted here and I washing the bra tread lol
, I had my exchange yesterday
I got implants NSRX695
I am very happy, finally got the results I should have gotten back in December
W
All good, just in a lot of pain but smiling very very happy.
Sending hugs to all the ladies who are going to surgery soon.
-
hey home mom just hot measured today.
still not able to wear z bra but was curious as to the size. Now do I can gauge how they chsnge. I was a 32dd but tried a 34d since my size has always be 34 since it's more comfortable. I had 535 ultra high profile put in to get me there although I didn't want that big but it was my fault. I am 5'4" 130 lbs 32 cage too
Wondering what size you are to compare. Did you post your results on the picture forum yet?
-
oh baby I forgot. My rib cage is 30" and if I measure over my new breast it's 38" I always did weight training in the past which made my back wider. I am 167cm told or 5.7"
And I 60kl
I think you feel too big but it may also be swelling so give it a few more weeks.
I will post some more pictures in a few minutes. I need to download them in my laptop first. I access this forum from my phone and the pictures forum is better from the lab top so that's why i am never there lol
-
babyo - I will not have my exchange for a few more months. I was a 34D with my implants before bc and a 32B before I got them. I had augmentation done in 04'. I was fitted for a bra at Victoria Secret and they told me that if I go UP a band size I go DOWN a cup size. I stuck with the 34D's. I think it is too big for me and I would like to be a full C cup. I tried to join the picture thread and one of the admin's tried helping me but I kept getting this page that was different from the tutorial. I have not heard back from her after giving her my browser info etc. I'm about to give up on that.
-
homemom, don't give up I also had a hard time at the beginning with that picture forum site lol the lady who runs it will be able to help. She is very busy so it takes a few days but she will get to it. I am so glad my size is still 38C, and you are right I also fit on a 36d. I did not want bigger size but I do not want a smaller either, my cloth fits right and it's just good proportions. I hate that the previous ps looked at me as if I was a superficial person for wanting my breast just the way they were before bc. I can't stand how ps have the guts to judge us.
I woke up in a lot of pain, but I slept a 4 hours straight which is more than I can manage these days
Have a great day ladies.
Home mom let know if you want me to send you pictures by pm.

Hello Ladies,All the research that I read states the implants will be larger than the TE's. I asked my PS about this because I currently have 700cc in my TE. My PS confirmed he will bring in several different sizes but more than likely will go with the 800cc silicon implants. I am now reading on here that some ladies have received small implants than the TE's. Is that what was wanted at the time of 2nd stage consultation? What happened with the extra stretched skin? I am looking to go bigger than what I started with prior to BX.
-
redheeledwoman, This may not address your question but may be something you may want to keep in mind. Even though a proposed style of implant may be larger in volume than the TE, the width and projection the implant could actually be smaller than the TE. For example, my 700 cc TEs are Allergan 133-MV-16-T with dimensions of 16 cm wide with a variable projection of 6.6 cm. The Allergan 800 cc Style 20 implants that my PS is considering are 15.3 cm wide with a projection of 6.1 cm. Point being, you can not always go by volume alone.
-
this was always confusing to me too. My ps did not talk go me about size before exchange he said he will see what looks best which really pisses me off because I didn't have time to think about it. They brought different sizes that I knew about which was okay but he used a bigger one because I told him I like the projection but not that big to do what he thought looked best so he used an ultra high which was weighed 30 cc less than my implant. I was expanded to 450 but didn't want to be that big. My TE was 11.7 wide, 10.0 height and 6.6 projection but filled to 450 which is 12.7 wide, 10.8 height and 7.0 projection but not sure how that affects it. My implant is 12 diameter and 6.1 projection and it is very close to the projection I had before. They are much softer so feels better but they look too out there from the side but from the front still like hamburger buns now. I had wanted smaller and my ps told me to stop fills when I was happy but I took the advise of most people here of at least followed their theory of that
he certainly was able to match me which defeated the purpose of overfilling.
So I would listen to your ps since he knows his capabilities. Mine so far are just about the same size but softer shape is better since it is more narrow but hate how fat they look from the side. Good luck with this! Xoxo
-
Thanks vfay49- I will keep your info in mind and find out about the dimensions of the 800 cc's to make sure the projection is or isn't smaller than my current TE's. I would not be happy if it is. -
Are you happy with the end result or do your wish you would have gone bigger or smaller? Exchange isn't scheduled yet, but should be late Dec 2017-early 2018How many ccs did you have in your TE before surgery and how many are in your permanent implant? I have Allergan TE filled to 500ccs under pectoral muscles. I had a Skin Paring/Nipple Sparing Double Mastectomy on 10/3/17 with an autologous (autoderm) sling, a lift and a reduction. I have 'anchor' scars. Not sure what style incisions are called since some skin was removed for reduction, lift and to make sling Which brand? My PS is a big fan of the Natrelle implants. I'm hoping a good choice for me would be the Natrelle Inspira SoftTouch Gel Smooth Round Full Projection SSF implant. I can't find anyone else who has had the SoftTouch for reconstruction and hoping to hear from someone in this forum. Body size - height, weight and ribcage size including frame type. 5'6, 163 lbs, 31 inch ribcage Bra size before and after so others can compare themselves with your final outcome. Before - 34DDD cup. Supposed to be down to a large C/small D cup, but when trying on old bra tonight, still in tissue expanders, my 34DDD fit perfectly.
-
Hello everyone! know that we are a few years out after BMX, how are you all liking your implants?
Mine were too big, and I one nipple is erect all the time and other other flat and an odd shape. I would like to have my one nipple flattened out so they are even, and so I don't have to wear a bra if I don't want to, but since my implants are larger and look really huge, I am considering exchanging for a smaller size. I received the Ultra mentors and they just look too big for me. It was my fault, I gave bad direction to my PS so don't blame him for this.
I also am considering removing my nipples altogether and just getting tattoos instead. Has anyone gone back after the fact, to remove their nipples, is that even possible?
I went from a B to a D and wanted a C, its real hard to find a bra and they look like those fake boobs that women elect to get so want something more natural. I am only 5'4" and 135 lbs now, usually 120 lbs so want to feel more like myself. I understand that implants won't look natural, but from the point of exchange, I knew I wasn't happy with them and would not consider a revision if it weren't for the fact that I would like my nipples removed or flattened.
Thoughts from those who have had elective revisions?
-
wow baby20.
I had the oposite problem lol
I had a revision due to the ps no following my instructions and she gave me very small size. The issue was that I had a lot of skin due to my own breastvsize prior. So the small implants were no good did not adjust in the extra skin. Anyway I had radiation which is causing one nipple to be as if I am cold all the time.
But I am now stage 4 so I would never have anything to fix it.
I suggest you do ask for a fix. Do it wile you can.
I wish you good luck and yes 100% ask them to fix it it is your body and you need to be happy
Good luck
