    3rd U'r almost done YYYYAAAAAYYYY

Enerva I pray u'r sister's scan are good---I'm telling u this crap is like a web, once u get into it it's so hard to fight u'r way out and if u do things are still sticking to you.

Nettie I'm going to slap u'r little face, u are so adorable---and that's u hair color--even if it's not it's perfect. See I want to pinch u'r cheeks.

It's almost 4am here, so why do I care about Nettie's hair??? OK cuz I care about all of u t any time of the day. See there goes my other voice in my head talking, it comes out every so often and I let it, I think it's the nicer one.

What a goofy day I took a nap (as usual) and when I woke for about an hour I thought it was Saturday, honestly and I'm wondering why my TV shows were different and why my phone was ringing a lot with customers for a Saturday. Whooosh--Leslie took Joey for 5 effin hrs for school stuff--OMG u'd think she was buying for 5 kids and yet she bought very little. She went to 5 different shoe places cuz he wears a mans shoe now 8and 1/2 (my baby) and they were more expensive so she's freakin' out, then she finds out she has to buy a College Dictionary--I didn't know they still sold those with all the computer stuff going on--This school thing is costing a fortune-- So shopping again today for the rest of all this chit. They have so many things to get now--it's unbelievable.

OK right now I'm awake but u all know  this doesn't last. And I think I told u about my exorcist story, hw exciting my job is. OK I'll BBL

Chevy, thanks for your offer of assistance. What was I thinking? Friends and family are supposed to love and accept you, regardless of the circumstances (especially those we can't control). My local "friends" aren't friends, you all are closer even through cyberspace!

About projects: Mom's facility wanted me to get items for a memory box by the entrance to her room and put together a shoebox full of memories. Not easy to do as we left so much behind when we moved a year ago. Had the items for the one by the door in the back of Dad's car for weeks, could never find someone with a key to open it for me till last visit. For the shoebox, have been working on a big photo album plus tchotchkes to help her retain memories. Takes a while. So I did a "mini-scrapbook" so at least she has something till I complete the bigger one.

Cami, you're so right about FB friends. Funny, lately I look forward to seeing my BCO friends on FB more than most other people. Winking

Nettie, glad you got a pain-free day. Very pretty, thanks for sharing. New hair is pretty.

Insurance, don't get me started! In 2011, pipe burst under concrete slab. Seeped all the way across to the outermost corner of the house, huge mess! Major reno #1. Then it happened again last year this time (different location, same cold water line). So had to have line re routed thru the wall by-passing concrete slab. Worst part tho, the first occurrence ins filed as 2 separate claims, same week. So when the 2nd happened, (looked like a 3rd claim by the paperwork), made us virtually I eligible for homeowners ins. Lots of crap to ensure us. This month the first "2" claims dropped off the system so we're back on track. VERY scary with the broiling heat, drought status, everything so dry and threat of fire always looming (2 big fires in this area in the past 15 years).

LMG, feel the same way about insurance. No lose deal for them but a necessary evil.

Stephanie, big hugs to you, end is in sight!! Happy for you!

Chevy thanks for sharing cat/dog video. Isn't Nature amazing?

Enerva, so sorry about your sister, praying for a miracle.

Sassy, in my eyes, you are even a more stronger and amazing person than ever. Have to go back and check the video after I post this (so I don't lose everything).

Cami, hate those confusing situations! When I mix days up. DH got in a big argument on Sunday thinking it was Monday morning. Couldn't convince him otherwise.

About losing posts: have 2 tabs open and toggle. Stuff I was writing was disappearing very annoying. Have learned to Select All/Copy (that's the process on iPad) so I don't lose stuff. So far, so good.

Morning gals!  And this is strength!  Somehow one little girl learned what it is to be loved and cherished..... against all odds in the world......

    https://docs.google.com/file/d/0ByFUzo9KwryWWkRwUE...

Hope y'all are doing okay this morning....  Nettie I love your hair!

I'm going to pull a Cammi in a little while..... as soon as I drink some coffee,  I'm going to hop in the shower with "Satsuma"....  And I will smell like a big exotic Grapefruit or Orange thing....

Satsuma is this big European type guy I met the other day whilst walking down the alley at night...

Oh Cami...that is NOT my color, this is the "color I chose"  LOL  Thanks for the compliment!

And I'm so glad that as of now I don't have to worry about stuff for school, although, my time is coming when the grandkids get old enough!  We, DH and me, always help with stuff when we can financially!  We do not have much extra money, but what we have is spent on our grandkids!!  I was fortunate when raising my two, my parents always helped and now my parents are still helping by also giving for MY grandkids!  (Hope that makes sense)

But a Dictionary, I also thought those would be obsolete now with the internet!

I'm so sorry for all you ladies that had difficult childhoods, I was really blessed!  I know a little about it, as I met DH at 16 and his father was an abusive alcoholic!  Many nightmare stories, but just to give a glimpse, one involved his father killing my DH(boyfriend at the time) puppy and laying it in DH's bed!  Much longer stories, but just a glimpse as to things that he dealt with and I for a short time while dating.  His father was killed in an auto accident in 1994. (Alcohol NOT involved)

Sorry for all of you dealing with insurance issues, never a happy time!  Most of the time, thank goodness, DH takes care of that!

Thanks for compliement 2nd, and believe it or not, I'm not hurting today again!! YAY!!  Have some stiffness issues, but not pain!

Oh, Chevy, smelling like a satsuma....that could make me hungry!

Ok, just one little thing I need to say "out loud" - found a "bump" on my right leg, under the skin, I guess on the bone just about 2 inches from my ankle, seems I can somewhat feel the same on the opposite side, but now I'm paranoid about every little thing!  I'm going to keep my eye on it for a couple weeks and then I guess if I'm not convinced it's normal, I'll have it checked out!

    Happy Wednesday!!

Oh Nettie, your DH Father just makes me sick!  He deserves to be shot, if he isn't dead yet.  No room on this earth for people like him..... He was born without feelings for anything...... Blah!

Nettie, I get bumps everyonce in awhile....,. sometimes they go away..... don't worry about it....  just smack it real hard, and it will disappear.... maybe.

That's what they used to do with those cysts people got on their wrists?  Smack them with a book....and they would go away.

If it doesn't hurt, forget about it.....  If it turns a bright red, and you see lines running all the way up to your head, then you might want to get it checked out.....otherwise.... it's okay.

Yes, Chevy, I was quite upset with "that" episode!  The only way we were able to deal with all the "stuff" was to realize that the only time he acted out was when he was drinking!  Not making an excuse, it was hard all the time, but the alcoholic was a terrible person, but when he wasn't drinking he was completely different!  Only problem, he chose to drink more than he chose to be sober!  It was really sad, because the sober man was awesome!

And no, the "bump" doesn't hurt, I found it by accident while shaving!  But don't they say that cancer doesn't usually hurt at the beginning?

ThumbsUp Here it is nettie---What a horrible story for u'r DH. So glad he didn't take after that chitload of trouble. I too had  a wonderful childhood and just never thought of anyone having a bad one when I was young--all my friends parents were awesome so it just never came into my head. I have 3 bumps on my wrist, a third one just popped up not long ago, but they are right on my vein so they are there to stay. Just keep an eye on it, but don't worry about it. That;s all.

Oh and now Miss Chevy thinks she's the Dr. in the house-Oh my heavens. what next her showering with a fantasy--we never know with her.

Second that was a sweet post.

Shhh my phones are quiet today, that's really not good, but what can I do.

I'm watching scary movies as usual. No Chevy they are not my home movies--I figured u'd say that. OMG I'm starting to think like her, I'd better meditate and get her out of my head.

"movies" you say?    Rather fun, aren't they?   So you watch those while you are on the phone?    No WONder you make so much money with your "job!"

How's it going Peppermint?  Hope everyone is doing alright today~

Sassy, the link to Robin Williams you mentioned was a good read. There was also a good one that he didn't die of suicide but depression. Did I post that link?

Chevy, tried that link about the little girl but too many hits and didn't see it

Enerva, about implants/exchange: have you checked out Whippetmom/Breast Implant Sizing 101 thread:        https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/44/topic...

Her assistance is spot on, almost like a trusted 2nd opinion.

Nettie, you have had such a difficult life.

Hi Paw! Watching news on TV, they're showing rain and lightning in our county. Anything like that in your area? Just a bit cooler today (truck read 83*), a little overcast and very humid here. Feeling any better this week on your break?

Owlettes - thanks for all the entertaining stories and pics.... I am just hanging out waiting for my brain to return. It's out there somewhere, wandering around with my memory and my balance.

DH ran an errand today around 3 p.m.  -  he said it would take about half an hour. I was watching something stupid on TV. At 5 p.m. he walked into the living room to see what I wanted for dinner.

I asked him where he had been all that time, and he said "I got home at 3:30, walked right by you and said hi, and we talked about what I bought! I've been in the den all afternoon."

DUHHHHH... don't remember a bit of that.

On a positive note, I DID get dressed today, and since it wasn't too hot after dinner, we did go out and trim back plants in the yard.  Now I'm covered with crepe myrtle gunk and off to the shower to wash it off. No exotic smells for me... I use Aveeno Baby wash. Very comforting, gentle scent.

And Chevy? That thing you were describing is a ganglion cyst. It's a big honkin' lump on your wrist, and yes - in the olden days, they used to get rid of them by whacking them with the Family Bible (probably because it was the biggest book in the house.) My doc said that was really barbaric. I had one the size of a walnut on my right wrist, and several times they drained it with a HUGE needle. What came out looked like grape jelly. Finally, I had to have it surgically removed, and now have a big curving scar on that wrist.
