Friend makes insensitive comments

I'v had several less than welcome comments , one was trust you to get a" fashionable good cancer".

The one that hurt the most and caused a lot of problems was from a friend who told me and my husband - "that I didn't really have cancer, as I never had never had a mastectomy".

Hubby believed her and was less than supportive . So much so when I challenged him , his rely was a cold , " lets just say i don't want to know"

Fast forward 6 years and I was diagnosed stage 4 - hubby was very upset and worried. Despite him , shopping cleaning and doing all the cooking - he still won't talk about my cancer.4 years on and the local gossip is that I don't have cancer - if I did I'd be dead .
