-
Happy Birthday, Wilsie! And many, many more! Grateful for fresh fruits & veggies.
-
Wilsie, doctors don't have a crystal ball so definitely prove them wrong! Welcome and happy birthday!
Catching up:
8/1: grateful to find lots of photos for Mom's memory album
8/2: grateful for Ancestry.com. Learned a lot about my 4 grandparents that I didn't know
8/3: grateful I'm not allergic to wasp stings and that webmd gave me great info to keep the swelling down
8/4: grateful DH fixed the scanner so I could scan in photos
-
Grateful for having found a new therapist that seems like a good match. -
Today I am grateful for de-alcoholized beer. Sorry, trite but true.
-
8/5- grateful for the "color pop" going into my house today with a lovely good in the bedroom and a deep pinky pomegranate color accent wall in the kitchen. Even the painters like it!

Two of my oldest friends happened to be in town & I am grateful for our 3 1/2 hour 'catch up' lunch!
-
Grateful that my asthma has improved after reviewing results of my breathing test I performed this afternoon. It had gone into remission over a decade ago and came roaring back last winter after I got a cold. Grateful for my excellent doctor and the wonderful drugs that keep this beast beat down.
-
Wilsie2, happy birthday. I do believe that birthdays have a much more special meaning now, all things considered!
Ruthbru, I love a good 2 hour lunch, 3.5 hour lunch even better!
-
Grateful for the odd attention of my cat, Sunny. He stayed away most of the w/end as there were a ton of people here camping & invading, but this morning when he came in he came up to my bed, wound himself firmly like a hat around the top of my head, and began to groom himself. Which is how i woke up. Hilarious! He's 5, I've had him since his birth, and he's never done this! I guess he was glad to be rid of people invading his territory & needed a snuggle with Mom.
-
Flannelette, how cute! Not sure if I could handle waking up to a cat on my head, it might wind up across the room before I could wake up.
8/5 - grateful I decided against staying up till the wee hours to bake cookies for my brother and nephew who were expected to visit my mom and dad today. Trip cancelled before I woke up.
-
Flannelette that is sweet. He needed mommy time.
Grateful today to have been able to get my hair cut last night. It's a bit too short but hey, it grows and this is a good thing.
Honey, glad your asthma has settled down. I remember just how awful that was for you.
Jazzy, pomegranate? Really, wow you are brave!
-
8/6- grateful to have the painting job done. It all came out great! Here is a picture of the pomegranite accent wall. I love it more than I can tell you. The splash of color has transformed the space!
-
Pretty!
Grateful for a fun time walking out in the country with my Wednesday walking buddies.
-
Jazzy, it does look nice.
Ruth I love that pic.

Missed a couple of days
Monday - grateful for a evening with friends helping a bride to be with her invitations, they are going out as packages and we had a fun couple of hours tying packages, eating Thai food and Swedish chocolate (hope none of the chocolate made it into the invitations! oops)
Yesterday grateful for visit with my neighbors son and his young family
Today grateful for an 'all clear' mammogram
-

Grateful this AM for 2 more days before vacation Wahoo
-
Grateful today that my boss said I can have Monday as a vacation day.
-
8/7- grateful for a wonderful evening of music under the stars with Natalie Cole and Smokey Robinson last night.
HBcheryl- congrats on the clear mammo!

Grateful for a Friday-Monday mini-vacation that DH, I, and another couple who are really good friends will be taking this weekend.
-
Ruthbru- have a great long weekend with DH and friends!
-
I will, thanks!
-
Grateful that my port will be removed soon and grateful that I have found a therapeutic massage therapist who should be able to help alleviate my post mastectomy pain syndrome which has gotten gradually worse during the summer. My BS told me it was caused by all those lymph nodes she had to remove. Grateful to be alive even if not feeling really up to par.
-
8/8- grateful for a nice cool day here yesterday and for a lovely yoga practice at my gym last night!
-
Grateful to be meeting another girl in the Canadian forum tonight for dinner. We're even bringing our husbands. I'm so excited.
Honey, glad your port is coming out and that you found a good RMT.
Cheryl hooray for clear mammo.
Ruth, have fun in your mini vacay.
Jazzy, music under the stars - nice!!

-
Incredibly thankful today for my PETscan results that showed no spread of cancer. My RO had found a bump in my skin last Monday and biopsy showed it was cancer. God is great!!
