This morning in my Spin class the instructor was leading us and she said 'I am grateful for the day, grateful to see the sun shine' and I though to myself, yes I feel exactly the same (actually I responded with a woohoooo)

Red it's lucky that I did chores yesterday because today all I've done is go to the gym then come home eat and lay on the couch and nap!!! Jazzy I am a huge music fan and I could not imagine the world without music so it's wonderful that you have entered back into the music world, congratulations.

Thanks everybody for the encouragement on the music playing. I have been listening to it and going to concerts, but now am bringing my gift back out into the world once again.

Jealous of those who got weekend chores done early.  Now Sunday AM and  I have much in front of me!

Grateful for my IBC support group meeting yesterday AM.  Love that group

Jazzy, it's so wonderful that you have rejoined the jazz community. Do you play an instrument or sing?

Honey, I won't be one of those walking in malls. I hate shopping and that would be a sad reminder.

Cheryl, I still haven't finished my Saturday chores and it's now Sunday! Glad you got them done!

Onco, lucky the RMT could get you in the same day!

Ruth, wish I had a sister.

Grateful for a fun bonfire party we went to last night. Saw a bunch of people I haven't seen since last year.

Very grateful for a wonderful sermon at church today and that DH and I sang a solo that our friends there just loved and really showed us their appreciation.

7/26- grateful for all the good food I got at the farmers market today. Lots of tomatoes, fresh corn on the cob, carrots, kale, swiss chard too. And a very cool lemon balm herb bush for my gardens (I love this herb!)

Red- I play several instruments, with jazz it is the flute and sax. I am starting back with the flute yesterday, as I have been playing it the longest and it is easy to get myself back into it with that which is most comfortable. I have done some back up singing in a salsa group I played with for special event a few years back. I leave the lead vocals to others!

Grateful I made it to the baby shower I attended yesterday. I didn't realize that my great niece is due in 8 days. Time certainly flies.

Jazzy, I play piano, badly, and can't sing a note. My gkids still like my lullabies though.

7/28- grateful for the nice soaking rains that fell yesterday afternoon. Thank you summer monsoons.

Red, I bet they like your lullibies. They are not looking for the next Idol star, they just love that you sing to them!

Grateful for a good workout yesterday and a nice walk with the dog after dinner. Our cat always follows the two of us so we look very amusing to the neighbours.

Oncowarrior - I had foot surgery about 3 years ago and am looking at same surgery on the other foot.  I feel your pain and the geriatric achillies!   I think once we have had cancer - enough is enough

Jazzygirl - love the post and ditto for my day

Grateful to be sitting outside on my deck with the cats....summer marching band must be going on right now because the wind is just right and I can hear them practicing their songs (about a mile or so away)......they are good, so it is very enjoyable background music!

Grateful today that when I took the wrong pills last night all it resulted in was a day off work.

My Tamoxifen looks exactly like my sleeping pills, so  instead of taking 2 Tamoxifen I took 2 sleeping pills. Couldn't get out of bed this morning for love nor money. My DH called in for me (fibbed and said I had a migraine) and said that I'd try to come in later, but it was a no-go. For those who are saying in their heads, how bad could that be, I should let you know that it was those same sleeping pills that made me go sleepwalking. Apparently in my world, 2 means no walking at all. I ache everywhere and I think I never changed position in my sleep even once last night. Sigh.

Red, I did some thing similar recently. I had taken out some old pain meds from the earlier surgeries and had left them on the counter when I got a call and got distracted. I think I took one of those vs. the anastrozole and was very loggy the next morning. No harm done but lesson learned, but I got rid of all the old meds once and for all!

Jazzy, good to know I'm not the only one. I actually saw a commercial today about returning old meds to the pharmacy. It was very timely! lol

Red, I mixed my meds up one time too, so I got a morning pill box and an evening pill box.  Clear for daytime and blue for evening.  Smartest thing I have done. It is scary taking the wrong meds.

Grateful for a hard walk today and some time in my bookstore with DH afterwards.  Now looking forward to a movie and dinner here at home.  Many blessings each day and so grateful.

Honey, the most ironic part is that I have one of those morning evening pill boxes but it ran out of pills yesterday morning. Instead of refilling it last night, I just hauled out the bottles and took my 6 pills that way. Stupidity reigns. My pill boxes are now full.

Red glad all,is well and your pill mix up just resulted in some extra time with the sandman.

Grateful for what I think will be the very last gardenia off my bush for the season, the fragrance is divine.
