I had my morning chuckle! So many hemorrhoids, not enough Prep-H! One extremely intelligent intellectual is dead and loses all validity. One scumbag is alive, dodges the draft and is their God.......hahahahhaha! Some voices should be seen and not heard. Heroin overdose? HAHAHAHAHA!

You can say that again, Blue. ALL of it.

Someone obviously has their facts wrong -- hmmm, who could it be:
-
I guess Kansas governor Brownback adhered to the "trickle down" theory for Kansas. Perhaps one of his ancestors was a proponent (in the 1890s) of the "horse and sparrow" theory -- feed a horse enough oats and eventually some of the seeds will pass through and fall by the wayside for the sparrows.
Reagan's economists decided to rename trickle down "supply side". I've heard others call it "pissing on the poor". Ross Perot (remember him? the millionaire many times over) called it voodoo economics.
As I've said before, history and current-day rhetoric prove that what the Republicans know about economic theory that actually works for the majority (the poor and the middle class) could fit on the head of a pin. But then, they don't care about the majority, do they?
-
Ross Perot was correct about "trickle down economics" and he was right about NAFTA. Ever since NFTA passed, the manufacturing jobs of America have caused a large "sucking sound" as the have left the country. Bill Clinton was absolutely wrong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTgyDFmaa5E
NAFTA could have been a really good treaty if NAFTA had required American firms to maintain the same EPA standards in foreign countries as the had to follow in the USA, global warming would not be so far advance as it is today. If NAFTA required that American firms pay workers a minimum wage in foreign countries at the same ratio to the middle wage as ratio of minimum wage to a middle wage in the USA, the world middle class would have grown creating more markets for American goods and services. If NAFTA had required that American firms follow OSHA regulations in foreign factories that are required in American factories, the working life of workers all over the globe would improve.
NAFTA was more than a trade agreement, it was a document that took a 100 years of American worker protections and environmental protections that could have easily been a force for good in the world and destroyed them.
The Republicans own the stupidity of "trickle down", but both parties brought the America and the world the disaster of NAFTA.

Hi Gals,Nice and hot and very humid today. Walked the dogs early and staying inside the rest of the day.
Tim will be home in a little while. He said he'd stop at the store on the way home so I don't have to go out again today.
Notself ... Don't get me started on NAFTA. It was and is a disastrous piece of legislation.
Jackie ... That cartoon is funny ... and sad too.
Blue ... Great picture of Jim. What's up with all the Ted Nugent stuff? He is so irrelevant. Except maybe to Fox news.
hugs,
Bren
-
Ah...Ted Nugent, the excrement lover. He has doubled down on the latest Indian casino in Washington to dump him. I think he best watch out.....the minute you look like a liability, you will be summarily dropped from the extremists and GOP friends list.....and then little Nugie...you will most certainly be neck deep in brown, smelly stuff. Better hope your friends continue their love of excrement too. Otherwise you'll have to buddy up with Tod Akin and his type.

Something I had forgotten until I ran across this:
-
Well I guess if you wait just a while the crud will float to the surface. Great guy to carry the GOP banner. http://www.addictinginfo.org/2014/07/26/the-ted-nugent-anthem-to-child-rape-that-family-values-conservatives-should-be-ashamed-of-video/

Oh Donna - didn't you know that pic of Ted Nugent and Rick Perry was from 2005? Did you know that means it's significance had expired? LOL Funny how Bill Ayers was invited to the same Tea Party as Obama, circa 1995, and that was their rallying cry 2008 onward. HYPOCRITS.
As far as Fox News - Mr Ted Nugent has been a guest on Greta Van Susteran, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly.
And wasn't Sarah Palin a paid contributor to Fox News? In any case the GOP VP Candidate in 2008. In 2014, her praise for Greg Abbot (running for governor of Texas)...wait, let's quote her "If Greg Abbot Is Good Enough for Ted Nugent He's Good Enough for Me!" And Greg Abbot himself campaigns with Ted Nugent calling him his "blood brother" while Ted Nugent called our POTUS a "subhuman mongrel."
I'd say Ted Nugent is quite intertwined with the GOP and it's main media outlet. Not getting out of that one. He says what they all feel, but don't dare say. What's Greg Abbot's excuse, I wonder?
-
BUT............he's alive! HAHAHAHAHA!
Some doggy antics..........
Lilah in her new outfit.
Wendel gets jealous.
He asked for it.
-
My morning outfit for my son's wedding.
-
Just picked up the hat today. Hope I don't gain weight in the next month.
-
blue - love the color. Great hat!
-
Thanks Brig. That's my favourite colour.
-
I can see why. You will look stunning AND I know you will provide us with lots of pictures!. Or at least you better.
-
I will try. It's gonna be a long day for me. The ceremony is in the gardens at 12 noon and the reception is at six in the evening. Will give me time to go home after the picture taking to rest and change into my evening outfit. The evening is gonna be a challenge because I'm usually done like dinner by 8! hahahahah!
In the meantime....
-
Blue - I know. After two hours anywhere I am pooped and by 8 I am in my nightgown. The magic of the moment will keep you going and the mid event rest is great planning.
-
Morning Gals,Big storm moving in ... yay! Won't have to walk the dogs or water today.
Blue ... love the blue dress and hat. The shoes are perfect.
Wendel cracks me up. He looks pretty happy now that he got to wear the tutu!
hugs,
Bren

This is something that came in one of my subscriptions and perfectly says what I have felt for a long time and is quite descriptive of many of the extremists. I am mindful that you can find almost anything and SEE something. I was just moved toward the fact that it just happened to be in a place I'd never expect to see it, nor was I looking or thinking about any such thing
It is the thing that makes it pertinent -- that it JUST tuned up.
"He who
says he is in the light and hates his brother is in the darkness still."The Bible
-- 1 John 2:9I'll be back a little later --- just needed to work with this first.

PHUCKERS!
A
disturbing photo posted on Facebook has a lot of people upset and
sheriff's deputies in Charlotte County, Florida, looking for the
culprit. Thomas Mcguinness, the man in the photo, later posted: "don't
know why everybody so mad about a cat we only shot it twice."
READ MORE: http://ch7ne.ws/1ukS9Pk.That said…really? Mr. Mcguinness has done nothing to help promote the
idea that gun owners are responsible adults (who understand the
importance of trigger and muzzle discipline), and much to damage it.
Yes, we have a sense of humor. Yes, we support free speech. But this
fails the giggle test. IGOTD all the way. -
-
Bren, he has me in stitches every day. Lilah wouldn't let me put it past her front legs, but he did. They were selling these outfits at petsmart for only 2 bucks. We had a little fun with them yesterday.
-
Disgusted totally with the man who has the kitten and the gun. Any decorum and decency got way out of hand some time ago with the likes of Wayne LaPierre. Of course it isn't possible for it to happen, but if the NRA had to be totally disbanded I certainly wouldn't shed a tear. Any hint of "freedoms" and the nutjobs seem to appear in full force. Nutty people are everywhere, but Mr. LaPierre can't help that, but the ideas he pushes are nothing but encouragement.

Oh Blue - first of all love your morning outfit for the wedding AND love the pics of Lilah and Wendel in "their" tutu!
-
Blue ... That is so funny and a lot of entertainment for $2.00!
My Maggie is still sick. Will have to take her to the vet tomorrow.
Hugs
Bren
-
Hope Maggie feels better. Keep us posted!
