Joy, Thank you. I have emailed Dr. Kelly Turner back and forth, she is great.  There is also another thread which discusses her book, I think the thread is called radical remission.

I talked to my friend today-the one who is the grandmother of the woman who had a remission, and told her about the book and website and they're going to write up her story for it.  She said that her GD is going to narcotics anonymous every day and has become quite a spiritual person.  Since the woman was stage IV at dx, she is considered NED--she is now in the process of making amends to people for the damage she has done and it was so good to hear that she's doing well.  I believe it was 2 or 3 years ago when I heard the news that her stage IV cancer had just disappeared.

I"m in the middle of reading the book now and think it's tremendous.  I was particularly reassured by the fact that many have achieved RR by losing the fear.  I mostly have--most days I feel no fear at all and am actually a little surprised when people are shocked by that so I don't discuss it as much as I used to except with friends who are truly on board with what I'm doing.  One friend said that I need to keep a little fear to take with me on my cancer journey and that I should use it when I need that extra motivation to do what I need to do.  I thought that was lovely since I prefer the journey analogy over the battle one--maybe b/c I'm a traveller lol.
