Hi Everybody,I think the site must be experiencing some tech issues, as I can't get to the last page in this thread. Going to post this and see what happens.

What is up with this thread today? I'm the last post on page 1815, but I see that there is a page 1816 and I can't get to it...
Mary

I don't know. I read all of her posts and didn't see that she violated anything. That's why I'm so upset.
-
Thread won't go to the last page
-
Sorry about Sun being banned
-
Have been reading with fascination.
I am going to post to see if I can move this to page 1816
-
I'm now on the last page hoping it is not a fluke. Hate to admit I have had serious withdrawals. Here is hoping this not only stays but works correctly. Have to go make dinner. So fingers crossed.

I think they finally got the site fixed. Maybe SomeOne put a hex on it.... -
I take it back - the site is still definitely messed up....
-
Dear Members, we apologize for the site problems, we are aware of these issues and others, we are having technical difficulties, and the tech team is on it, hoping to have a fix soon as the problems have been all day.
Things seem to be functioning now, but not all, please be tolerant while the maintenance is continuing. Mods have been experiencing the same problems.

Looks like the total loser's and liar's corner to me. The sheep leaders.

Thinking this has quit working again, but seems it is fine.

Yes ladies, it seems that the site problems have been largely rectified. Functionality has returned to "My Favorites", posting is working, but SEARCH is still offline.
Please report any other problems so we can pass these onto the Tech team. Although function has returned, we will be monitoring functionality. Have found that new pages can be a problem after first post. Try a second post and it may be accessible. Otherwise please notify us - it is a known problem being worked on.
Thank you for your tolerance as I'm sure you have missed the forum.

Does anyone know yet why Sunny was banned?

Morning Gals,Already walked the dogs ... it the mid 80's and it's only 11:00 a.m. Supposed to have thunderstorms this afternoon.
I have great news! I have a job interview today for a psych transcription position. As was the same with the other company I worked for, the pay is bad and the hours are long. Guess anymore that's just the nature of this profession. The company is India owned and that concerns me. So much of our work is sent off-shore that we can't make a living wage anymore. And the vast majority of the dictators are ESL's so you can't get a good line count either. I had really hoped to hear from the company that was paying an hourly rate ... at least you were guaranteed a certain amount that way. At any rate ... a bad job right now is better than no job!
Pip ... I think on the previous page(s) the mods wrote a note stating that Sunny broke the discussion board rules. I don't know which ones though. She was pretty vocal about her displeasure with the way BCO was heading and how that jibed with their mission statement. One of the gals was in contact with her and probably has more information. I can't remember right now who she was talking to. If anyone knows, I would really like to get her home address or email.
hugs,
Bren
-
Bren, hope your interview goes swimmingly. I'll be sending positive thoughts your way.
-
Bren, I'm so glad to hear that you have had some job success. I know what you mean about JUST needing A job and maybe taking conditions that are not what you'd really like. Well, I guess you could always keep submitting resumes and otherwise keeping your eyes open for something better.
Still having Sunny withdrawals. Of course, I'm happy about being able to SEE everyone who comes to this thread, but got so use to sitting the batch of avatar sunflowers and the page looks devoid of something because it really is.
Going to be hot and humid here.....never thought I'd be praying for rain so early on in the summer, but would make things at least a little better here. Such a strange yr. already.....but strange is and has been the new normal for a while.

Thanks Jackie and Juliaanna! I hope I am asked to take the test for the position. It no longer matters how bad the pay is, I just need to start working ASAP. My own two clients have been so slow ... no work has come in so far this month. I applied for this job over 4 weeks ago. I suspect they hired a few people and they already quit. I did apply for another position yesterday. The deadline for applying was today. I wish I could hear back from them ... it sounded like a better opportunity.hugs,
Bren

Sending strong vibes for either opportunity but hoping you actually will get some word from the one you have just described which is positive for you. Jobs are good to have and I have lots of job energies being sent your way. I'm going in a couple of minutes to meet with someone whom I'm likely to get some work from....though there has been reluctance about using a stranger. It is just that I'm not a stranger to the daughter and son-in-law so we all still have hopes that we can make it work out.

Interesting Scott Walker read....along with his friendly judge. Randa really doesn't deserve to be one. http://www.addictinginfo.org/2014/06/20/scott-walker-corruption/

Thanks for writing Jackie! I hope your meeting today was a success!
The job is not what I expected. It's for VR (voice recognition) editing of the very same psych accounts I did for that last horrible company. They pay 6 cents per edited line of VR. It is very difficult, especially with the ESL dictators. The position is an employee job, not an independent contractor like I am now. The recruiter was over an HOUR late in calling me, but she was nice. I asked her if I could take the weekend to think about it. She said no problem. If I decide to go ahead, I'll have to take a written test on Monday. It's not a transcription test per se, but a grammar, punctuation and terminology type of test. ackkkk!
Thanks everyone for your comments. I'm hoping I hear from the other job I applied for yesterday. I'll let you know what I decide when I make up my mind.hugs,

One of the irresistible ones :
Total blood-sucking creep. Can't really get into someone who totally loves the mission of being as destructive as humanely possible in places where there is no basis. Of course, there are a couple of people in denial about this capture...sigh. Deny it all, but it won't make it any less valid or true.
-
Morning Ladies,
I am attempting this on my phone. Mr. Tim is using my computer.
Haven't decided what to do about the job. I'm leaning toward taking the test on Monday. The experience/practice would be good for me.
Hope everyone is enjoying their morning.
Hugs
Bren
-
Bren, that would not hurt. Taking the test is not accepting a job, but just "attempting" to see if you could qualify. That still gives some time ( albeit short ) for other possibilities to come into view. Here's hoping.

Jackie - like your Issa graphic on Benghazi. I was watching the IRS hearings on C-Span yesterday. Republicans need to be strapped to their chairs and watch the real hearings, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, whatever, and stop watching the Fox News talking points. Those Representatives were disgraceful, each and everyone of them, and at the top of the list was Paul Ryan. He basically accused the IRS Commissioner, a long time public servant, and appointed by many Republicans, including Bush jr., of being a liar. He wouldn't let him answer his (rhetorical) questions...he didn't want to know the facts at all, he wanted to spew his own version (and they were very very weak if not without any merit at all). It is amazing the yarn they are trying to spin out of nothing (this is why they can't let the witnesses speak, dare the truth come out). Sadly, Fox News watchers suck this stuff up and they know it. It's all about the November elections - not about the truth.
I was disgusted. This is our government? Is it 100% politics 100% of the time now. If it is all about power, then it has to be all about money, because only an aphrodisiac like money would cause someone to behave so badly. Sadly, these politicians get away with it. And it is clear, the GOP, are the perps, 99% of the time.
Like one Democrat on the panel said yesterday, wouldn't we be spending our time better investigating Cayman Island accounts used to avoid paying income taxes? This would benefit America a whole lot more.
-
Quinn, so right. I often think about the dis-service all the way to huge divineness and destructiveness of the Tea publicans -- who could in fact take the cure. I think it's called biting off your nose to spite your face. Why would anyone be in such obvious denial.....money and power. You hit the nail quite squarely.
