I'm grateful for Starbucks passion tea, and the fact you can make it at home much cheaper. I'm addicted to it in the summertime.

    June 2,

Today I am very grateful that when I fell last night while sleepwalking (first time for that) I sustained only scrapes and bruises with no broken anything. Scared heck out of my DH and I though.

    Ann, you go girl!

    Onco, mooo!

Cheryl, Maddy and Ruth, hope you are having a marvelous time. What am I saying? Of course, you are.

Hi, Honeybair and Susie and lovelush.

    Hugs

6/2- I am grateful to have survived a crazy day with some not good news about an issue at my house and also someone who unexpectedly got let go at my client site today. However, I feel like am handling everything the best I can and will enjoy a nice evening walk.

    June 3,

Today I am grateful for the hair and nail appointment I have tonight at 6. It's about time, I did something other than a pony tail. Also, grateful to still have my hair.

Today I'm grateful to have insurance so when scans are needed the payment part isn't a worry, just the cancer part.

Day 154 (6/3): So very grateful that the fear I've been experiencing the past hasn't come to fruition. Got to take a couple little tasks off my overwhelming to-do list.

HBCheryl and me (2nd_time_around) from our lunch yesterday

Grateful Susie and Jazzy have a wonderful attitude and hoping Susie is doing ok.

Grateful that Casa de Cheryl had room for everyone. For you and the other ladies of the California Dreaming group: safe travels and have a wonderful time! Make some great memories!!

6/3- grateful for a better day today and for the meeting tomorrow with the new company I am talking to about my next gig. Fingers crossed.

2nd time- I love the photo! You ladies look like you are having a nice outing!

P.S. I am not sure the issues around my house (roof) may be as bad as originally reported. Doing some further analysis. And everyone at the client site is getting used to the news about the VP being gone and moving forward. VP is close to retirement and has money compared to so many who loose a job and have nothing.

    Day 6:  Sorta Late:

Grateful for a ride to the doc.  Grateful for coffee with a neighbor and rummaging through her perfumes so I can make her one!

Also grateful that Red Reading thought of me. :)  Now, if she would only wake up if she wanted a nice walk...

    Good Morning all,

Red thank you for being so kind and being able to follow everyone.  I can barely keep track of myself (chemo brain)

Grateful that my organizations fundraising events (3 in different locations) are all falling into place for the weekend.  Will be ever so grateful when they are over Saturday afternoon

I am grateful that I had the opportunity to meet two BC.org ladies on Monday. We had such a great time that we are getting together again tomorrow.

Thanks Nel, but I forget often. What are you fundraising for? And in 3 locations? That sounds like a lot of work.

Ann, how wonderful to meet some of the BCO ladies and to get a sequel as well. There's about 10 of us meeting in Oakville, Ontario on Saturday. It's my first time meeting a BCO group and I'm both excited and nervous.

Onco, also glad the noise turned out to be nothing serious. Moo

Ruth, I'm jealous. lol Are you still at Casa del Cheryl?

Lovelush, who is Jamey Johnson? I assume a musician? What kind?

Susie, you deserve a lazy day at home. A mini 'c' vacation.

    Have a nice evening everyone.

6/4- I am grateful for fried green tomatoes! Had them for the first time in years in Texas this past April and they had them at Whole Foods deli this week. Guess what I am having for dinner?

    RedReading,

Who is Jamey Johnson?  He is THE man.  Old school country in a late 30 something year old body.  He has played with George Jones and Willie and Haggard.  He has a duets album that is just fabulous.  It is in honor of Hank Cochran.  I hope I spelled that right.  Story goes that all of the folks gathered around Hank as he was dying and (Hank was a song writer) sang his tunes.  Jamey had the idea to put together an album of duets with his songs and Hank's surrounding friends.  Jamey sings one song by himself, but the rest are shared.  He has other albums and each is a gem.  I think his most famous commercial song is, "In Color."  If you go on YouTube, you won't want to stop.  Well, if you are me.

He always comes by to small places and doesn't play the big arenas.  He doesn't forget where he came from.  I'm seeing him at a ranch this month.  He doesn't talk much, at all, except, "Hi Y'All." And then plays for at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

Can you tell I'm a fan?

    How about your musical tastes?

I'm grateful you asked me, ;)

    June 6

    Good morning lovely ladies.

Today I am grateful for a wonderful dinner with my tamoxifen class last night. It was our final meeting and we decided to do it at an Italian restaurant.  I will truly miss those girls.

Lovelush, ahhhh now I understand. Country - you see, thats the magic word. Nope, don't do country. Sorry. But he sounds like a caring and compassionate musician so I will YouTube him.

Jazzy I love fried green tomatoes! I can never make them properly though.   :-(

    Have a great day!

I'm grateful to have my chest and abdomen CT's over with this morning. I can say I wasn't worried, but my blood pressure was 137/99 and I don't have high blood pressure. I also found myself while lying there having the CT thinking, this better not be stage 4, we have vacation next month and the airline tickets are non refundable! What a crazy girl, that would be the least of my worries if it comes back that way. Who knows why we think such odd things sometimes!

Saw my sweet, beautiful oncologist today and she assured me that I was doing well, blood work was good and told me I looked younger with my brown hair which has no gray despite my age.  She and my radiologist are two wonderful doctors whom I really enjoy being around.  Wish I felt the same about my BS, also a woman.

I am also grateful to have discovered a fabulous tasting fish called haddock.  No burger or chop could match it for flavor.

What a fabulous picture full of lot of ladies I chat with. How great to be able to put faces to the names.

Onco, I've got to start taking yoga, I think I'd like it.

Susie, breathe. Scans are over, now it's back to the waiting. Nothing you can do so relax. We were a little cramped at the pocket party though - bigger pockets!

Ruth and Maddy and Cheryl, love the big smiles. Glad you're having fun.

Honeybair, haddock is my favourite of the white fish. Don't tell my son though because he's a Talapia farmer.

    Gotta run. Ttyl.
