I am grateful to have spent the day with my mother, sister, brother, and our families. It's the first time we've all been together in years.
-
Red, thanks for the reminder of the Great White North sketches. They were hilarious! It's difficult to watch DD go thru so much, not happy about the last-minute SNAFU. Yesterday must have been difficult that she didn't participate in graduation (I had been thinking of a little family party, but realized my mom and dad would have a difficult time)., something told me to hold off.
Day 144 (5/24): So very grateful for BCO friends: ones that call and we talk for hours; those that support me everyday - like you all - and accept me with warts and all! Thankful for the friendships we make along the road of life: especially those who have helped me in times of need and those who allow me to pay it forward and be of assistance. Have been thinking of one sweet BCO lady who sought me out a while ago, has been happily living life and now in time of a bit of stress (and we all know I've experienced a lot of that!) she's asked for some help. So easy to provide support with all different kinds of technology available.

Good morning all and hope everyone is having a restful but enjoyable long weekend. I have been reading all the posts, but t in one of those down, feeling sorry for myself cycles, so not posting myself. Actively trying to get out of my funk this AM Grateful for everyone here. My best friend's son was married last evening, beautiful wedding and much fun. Grateful to see the one's I knew as babies growing into such wonderful adults.
Moving out of my funk, kicking and screaming, going to finish painting my dining room
-
It is graduation day here today & we are invited to a number of receptions. Grateful for these wonderful young people in our lives & grateful, in advance, for all the yummy food we are going to be eating!

May 25 Day 145
Today I am grateful for my first game of golf of the season. I sucked. I am still exhausted and I got home 7 hours ago. But I golfed!
-
Day 145 (5/25): today I am grateful that DH was in a decent mood, even washed the race car which needs to be sold. Happy DD has the day off tomorrow and has a fun day planned. It was fun going to the dollar store to get a bunch of activities for mom (easy puzzles, craft sets, card games). Planning to see them next week and shop dad how to work with her.
-
I'm grateful for a relaxing afternoon at home after a few hectic days in a row.
-
Can't believe I've missed so many days, just crazy busy.
Today grateful for all of those who serve in the military and their families past and present.
5/26 - grateful to have spent an enjoyable afternoon/evening with friends although confess I ate way too much
5/25 - grateful for a great mechanic
5/24 - grateful I managed to get a 'rush' job finished and out the door, the event is over a month away but it just HAD to be in the mail.
5/23 - grateful that a few years ago I befriended a young Vietnamese boy as he and his friends have taken me on many food adventures and tonight was no exception, don't have a clue what I ate but it was delicious!!!!
-
I am grateful that my dad, a WWII Veteran, was able to serve his country and come home safely to live a long and interesting life.
-
Grateful for all who have served our country. Home of the free, because of the brave. -

May 26,
Today I am also grateful for all those who fight to keep us safe.
-
Okay I'm jumping in on this one too!
Day #1- I'm luck enough to have a very strong support system both in real life and online, family, friends, acquaintances, and these boards where I can just be me and not a cancer diagnosis
-
5/26- grateful for those who served and continue to serve in our military. Hoping you all had a good day honoring our veterans and those in active service.
-
I too am grateful for my dad who served in World War 2 and made it home to live a long life. He passed away last July at the ripe old age of 89. He was a wonderful man.
-
Welcome ChaosRains!
-
I am also grateful for those who served in the military and for those who are currently serving.
-

Welcome ChaosRains. Cute moniker.
Today I am grateful for a delicious dinner... bbq pork chops and Chinese fried rice (homemade). It's the first time I've made it, so I was pleased when it turned out so well.
Keep your chin up Onco, they take a long time to heal. Don't rush it too much or you might undo the good you've done so far.
-
5/27- grateful to get through a busy work day after four days off! Hope everyone here who works survived post holiday weekend re-entry too!
-
I'm grateful for the airport shuttle.
-
grateful that tonight I was a passenger and not the driver on an excursion north
-
I remember Bob and Doug. I used to work outside Vancouver in college. LOVE BC, LOVE the true north strong and free.
-
Pink, aww. What a nice thing to say.
May 28
Today I am grateful for babies. Was just informed that a coworker is expecting again after a 10 year pause in baby making. She has 2 already that are 12 and 10. Boy and girl. The family is split down the middle regarding the wish for another boy or another girl.
:-)
-
I am grateful for an absolutely perfect day for a walk outside with some of my good friends.
-
I am grateful for my virtual friends on BCO. Could not take this ride without you
