Also grateful for AAA who came and changed my flat tire, on the highway no less, on Mother's Day! Perhaps no so grateful for the pup who then threw up all over the front seat for the stress of the flat tire experience. OK grateful for the pup, but not having to clean up after him!
Grateful for zumba class and a job I love.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day

May 14
Today I am glad that when I spent money to go support two friends, one with a food truck and one at the art gallery, it resulted in free tickets to see George Thorogood! Bad to the Bone. Lol
-
Oh, that will be fun!
-
I want to be in North Dakota with a freeze warning, it is sooooooo hot here, bleah!!!!!
Today grateful that I was able to get paperwork filed and put away, it's should have been packed up in January but I just never got around to it, but finally it's done.
-
I am grateful for the wonderful care I received over the past two weeks at the Mayo Clinic and especially for the good news that the cancer has not spread. God is good.
-
I am grateful for Ann's good news!!!!
-
Yay Ann!
What wonderful news!
I too am grateful for Ann's news!

Grateful for Ann's good news as well
Grateful that my son has asked his friends to come to our house to watch game 7 of the Bruins vs Montreal (OK this one might be iffy)
Grateful that I have an interview for a women's non -profit leadership group/, peer advising and mentoring Fingers crossed and then getting my organization to pay for it
-
5/14- grateful for making it through a couple very difficult days at work with my project team. Off tomorrow (good thing or I might hurt someone, LOL!)
-
Grateful for Ann's good news.
Today grateful that I go to go to the air conditioned gym, twice.
-
yay, Jazzy! Rest up tomorrow
Day 134/May 14: grateful for coincidences. Went to the bank today, actually went inside, which I don't usually do. My ATM card didn't work, they said it was reported lost or stolen. Huh? Not me. Turns out they issued new cards because of the Target mess up and I never received the new card. So both cards are cancelled and they're sending out a new one, supposed to be over-nighted to me tomorrow. Cool if it works.
Also grateful for the ladies who live south of here are safe with the raging fires near San Diego. Praying the strong, hot winds die down and they contain the fires soon and my BCO friends are safe.
-
I'm grateful vacation plans are finalized and both children (college students) are part of them again this year.
-
Grateful that DH & I have pinned down some vacation plans too.
-
5/15- grateful for a day off from my go live. Going to spend some time doing things I need to do and taking the afternoon off to go play!
-
May 15
I am grateful for my ladies group that meets Wednesday nights. Had a really positive meeting last night.

-
Onco, I'm sorry you are stuck in that lousy town. No fun to be had in the UpsonDowns. {{{{hugs}}}}}
-
Grateful for a fun evening spent with friends after exercise class
-
Day 135/May 15: So grateful that my ATM card arrived at noon (less than 24 hours!) that I called and spoke with the branch manager to let her know how pleased I was with their service. Then, after being on the phone from 8 AM to 5 pm (that includes several hours of being on hold), so grateful I finally found someone who could and would actually help me get our health insurance debacle straightened out. Not that it's done yet, but there's progress (as I've told several people, not happy I enrolled and paid for May but don't have actual coverage yet); it's been very frustrating, to say the least.
-
Grateful for the really fun retirement party I went to last night (for a former colleague). So great to spent the evening laughing & reminiscing with old friends.
-
Ruth, your postings always make me smile!
-
Day 136 (5/16): I am grateful for all the support I keep getting: like suggestions how to get this f**king health insurance straightened out (gee, it's only been 6 weeks of problems!). Plus for friends who contact me to get together when they're in my area (even though it's one day I can't because I need to get ready to attend awards banquet where DD will be receiving a scholarship from her current college before she transfers). I am thankful for friends here on BCO and elsewhere who cheer me up and won't allow me to stay in basement for too long.
-
I am grateful for a ceremony honoring a friend and former co worker today who was one of the best people I have ever known. They renamed a major road as a memorial highway in his name.
-
5/16- grateful I don't have to go to work tomorrow as planned. Time to spend at home in the gardens.
Onco- hugs girlfriend. Going to check in again with you this weekend......
-
May 16,
I am so grateful for a long weekend. Victoria Day up here in Canada. Most holiday Monday's I work because payroll has to get in, but I got it all in ahead and now I get to take the day off with everyone else in the office. Yay!
-
Yay Red. Maddy grateful that you're grateful and you know my client so you know I'll be back that way again hopefully with a bit more notice, I had known since Wednesday I was going to be in your 'hood but I had to wait for approval and then I got it at noon - never mind, next time.
Grateful that the temperature went down a little today so that it was easier to breathe.
-
May 17,
Today I am grateful to be going to my niece and nephew's reception. It's about 5 hours away, so we will stay over at an inn then come back in the morning. A mini vacay!
