So where's everyone? WHERE IS EVERYONE when I have decided not to go around anymore for a while (except for when someone is really in need of help) and to stick with this thread?
Surely hope everyone is doing well! -
I'm here!! And you go wherever your heart desires around here mini zilla!! But as always, this is the place where you know people know you best and love you for the sugar cookie that you are!!
-
I haven't been around much - had a business trip and then a few days of vacation last week and early this week... have been around a little but not much. Very busy.... work is crazy and I'm busy trying to make the final decisions on my kitchen remodel.... and get the work started...
Doreen -
Hey sweetie, I'm here.
Deese had a doctor appt today because a CT found an aneurysm - was just trolling to see if we had an update from Carrie or her but haven't seen anything.
Still praying for you ladies - hope all's well!!
Kari -
Hi ladies I am sorry I missed this !
Denise and I both posted an update in the prayer boards.
We don't know anything much yet except they are looking at
more than one area of concern and that they will read the results today and fax them to the doctor Thursday
So you know the routine sit and wait and worry ! geez
It is easier worring about me than worring about her.
Oh can I say again that an MRI is the loudest thing !
No wonder people get all freaked out in them !
They let me stay the whole time with her in the MRI room.
hugs everyone,
Carrie
ps
Why am I up so late again tonight I only slept for 3 hours last night . I am taking my big butt to bed Kari ? -
Sherry, I'm afraid to say that I'm not a "mini" anymore. My butt could be bigger than Zilla's!
Doreen, I knew you were posting less lately and was wondering how you were doing. Sorry that you're too busy. Make sure you take good care of yourself and don't work too hard.
Kari, I've been thinking about our Denise too. I'm glad Carrie posted an update but was a little disappointed because I was hoping for the better news. So how are you doing hon?
Carrie, I wish we all could have been there with Denise so we must have been much louder than the MRI.
Seriously though, thanks for the update. Will be praying harder for you and our sis. -
Hey Fumi we can be the big butt sisters !
I don't know if you all read in the prayer thread but good news Denise does not have brain mets, but she does have an
anuersym. We go the the Nuerosurgeon next Friday. We have been trying to google him but not sure what the best site is to do that is? I remember some one posting a while ago a good place to do that, and I can't find it, so if any of you know would you let us know ?
Okay we have people we haven't seen post for awhile >
Where is my adopted on line daughter Blu ?
and cowgirl I miss you .
I hope it is because life is busy and things are going well
Doreen,
I am excited to see the kitchen and all your plans.
Kari,
I always love to see you here.
have not forgot about your pm.
Sherry,
Fumi is a sugar cookie a TIMTAM
hugs everyone,
Carrie -
I know Carrie..I should have called her a chocolate coated sugar cookie!!!
-
Sherry I wonder if all that chocolate is good for her scales ? Don't want you breaking out Zilla ! There's nothing more grouchy than a mini zilla with a pimple
Carrie -
Hey there!!
My kids started school last Wednesday, and as you know I homeschool the youngest. So we wake up at 6, go feed goats then come home and get ready for school. My kids had drug tests, and physicals, so we have been running ragged. In the meantime I was supposed to have a garage sale today, but I cancelled it. Too much too little time!
I will pop in and post here from time to time. I honestly think my time here is coming to an end. I am ready to fly, and someone may have to clip my wings.
Love Love you all! -
No clipping of your wings ever cowgirl
fly high and happy ! You deserve to fly sweet friend~
but don't forget to stop in to let us know how you are.
Carrie -
Oh Carrie, you said that so well!!!!
Cowgirl, fly and be happy..spread those wings and soar to the heights...live life, love life...
but you make sure you fly low every now and then to bring news of you, the family, the goats..
-
introducing our newest family member Denise's grandbaby
Savana ~
-
Oh Carrie...she's beautiful!!!! Absolutely beautiful!! And so alert...I love the little sleeper top too!!! I think it says "mommy loves me"....and I'll bet she does...as does grandmother and auntie....
-
Carrie, she is so precious!! Good news on Denise's no mets, but praying for recovery from the other. Give that beatiful angel a kiss from me....xoxoxo
-
Hey Theresa!!! Gald to see you here. Now you've joined in the silliest thread on this entire forum! Be prepared lady, we are all too naughty!
Sherry, did you call me a chocolate coated sugar cookie? OK I'll show you a secret pic of me!
Cowgirl, glad to see you back here. I'll miss you so much if you leave but I'm glad you're moving on. Just don't forget to pop in to say hi, OK?
Hey Carrie, Savana is so adorable! Better yet, she has more hair than me!!! -
that looks more like chocolate coated zilla to me!!!
-
Willie Wonka was on the other night. Johnny Depp was wonderful in it. My 22yr son will not watch the first one. Said he's scared of it.... Any chocolate is good chocolate. I'm ready for some fun stuff!!!
-

Any chocolate is good chocolate.
I can't agree with you more!
Oh btw, any mini-'zilla is good 'zilla.
-
I just saw a new martini and need to try it. Godiva chocolate liqour and Blueberry vodka. How good does that sound?
-
MMMM.... that sounds yummy .... I'm not big on martini's but might have to give that one a try ...
Carrie: Savana is very very beautiful.... thanks for posting the photo... I love babies - give her a kiss on the forehead for me...
Cowgirl - hope you'll come back occasionally and say hello and give us an update on what's going on in your life.
hugs to you all...
Doreen -

Sounds like a major headache to me. Last time I had chocolate martinis, I puked my brains out. Never again.
Of course they were after too many Cosmos. Never mix your martini flavors. -
Oh lini the worst hang over I ever had in my life was
from a sweet fru-fru drink. I don't drink, very rarely
I don't mind other people do, I just can't very much, it gives me a headache. But back in the day I gave it my best shot lol!
Carrie -
Although, my favorite thread is the drinking one and one would think that I'm a heavyweight, I'm really a lightweight. Two glasses of wine and I'm toast. Two of anything for that matter. Then add a couple of chocolates and I was burnt toast.
-
Hi Carrie, just wanted to tell you that Savana is beautiful. My niece gave birth to a baby girl yesterday - it was eventful to say the least. They are both ok now though. I will post pics when her grandma sends me some if she can ever work out how to do it over the internet.
Hugs
Mags -
Hey hey Gals!
Off to a homeschooling workshop and fair today! Youngest has a full day of science experiments and other activities. Started my new job, I am working on Wed this week. I work on days DH is off, for a few hours. I like it, it gets me out and away from Everyone.
Yes mom still calls three times a day. The kids are doing well, so far so good. Goats look good, am going to go get some high dollar supplements this week! We have two shows in October. So it will be heavy training till then, right now they are so trained they run to their feeders without leads. They run back to the barn after a walk and into thier pens. The boys have done a great job this time. TD is thinking about a pig for the next show but I think he will stick with goats for now. Who knows????
He has a GF, but I think it is about to hit the dust. He is spending a lot of time with another girl! Ahhh hormone city here! Middle is a big piece of fun, he is finally playing football and loving it. Still a mischeivous kid, but cuter every day!
Got to wash dishes and start the crockpot for supper! -
Carrie...practice, practice, practice....
my onc kept telling me to go out and drink and relax.
now he's telling me to slow down!!! I told him it was his fault...hehehe -
Howdy. I am here.
Momma Carrie -- Thanks for the "miss you" thoughts. Things ave just been wild and crazy around here lately. Let's just say the whole "bad things come in 3's" theory has been shot out of the water by a battleship! But, we have survived . . . so far.
Momma Cowgirl -- Home school? I'm impressed. Even if I didn't have school myself, I wouldn't have the patience. It would be better for the kids to get the academics at a pace they would be challenged at (they don't get that in public school), but their main area of need right now is social interaction which they can only really get from public school since we can't afford private).
I start school the 30th, but I bought my books today -- $583! Eek! The whole thing's got my kind of scared -- 4 engineering classes!
Mom's doing well . . . except she dropped a large can on her foot last night. Not only would that hurt anyway, but it's the foot she had all sorts of surgery on for melanoma a few years back so it's kind of mangled anyway. It's entirely possible shemight have broken something, but she wants to "wait and see" if it gets worse.
Well, we just got home from church (a full hour later than normal) so I have to get the kids chased to bed.
