Leptin and tamoxifen

does anyone know if its safe to increase my leptin levels (to try to lose weight) while on tamoxifen?

How do you plan to increase your leptin level?

high protein breakfast, no snacking, no processed foods, decrease simple carbs, increase omega3, increase zinc, no eating after dinner, dinner 3 hrs before bed, 8 hours of sleep.

Those all sound like healthy goals, aside from the zinc which I know nothing about. Why would that cause a problem with tamoxifen?

Interesting question seeing as both estrogen and leptin are hormones and interact.

Hopefully someone who has done a lot of reading will come along and answer this question.

Yea I worry about doing anything that's hormone related. I have an appt to see my oncologist next week. I just didn't know if anyone knew the answer. I've gained about 35 lbs, I say it's from the tamoxifin and out of balance leptin levels
