Nancy,
Oh my gosh, I just watched the video and I am overcome by, well, by everything. I really can't find the words, but you were so beautiful and the dress was perfect. What an incredible way for you and your dh to celebrate what surely must be an extraordinary love.

Nancy - incredible and fantastic! How amazing and wonderful. Thanks for sharing this!

Nancy,
What a beautiful photo! And what a radiant couple. I have to say, you are one attractive woman, with some of the most glorious sunshine and flowers. What a special thing to have been given.

nancy....wow oh wow. I'm a wedding lover, so I totally love your story and accompanying pictures. You & your husband are quite the glamorous couple! Love the gown, love the wedding bouquet and there's no way I'd have ever known you're wearing a wig, your hair looks fabulous. Love the venue as well. Love how tall and handsome your hubby is. Congrats on the renewal.
Mompsych, twin boys...they had to be a handful to raise! Enjoy your summer with them. The college years seem to go so fast.
-
Congrats Nancy! That sounds like a great life experience! Wonderful!

Beautiful, Nancy! My husband and I renewed our vows in December and it is a wonderful memory., the day couldn't be more perfect. Congrats to you and your handsome husband!
-
Nancy, what can I say? Wow!!! Fantastic!
-
Nancy - So happy for you, and you look stunning in that picture!
-
So beautiful!

OK.. I came back for my second lentil soup recipe, but hey that wedding, the twins .. everything else made me forget about it.
Nancy dear, such a beauty you are inside & out & blessed with such a loving soul as your husband.. I cried through as I watched the video. Just last month I was at the Piano Guys' concert where they said each time they placed "a thousand years" they were especially happy that many couples choose their cover for their wedding..
At 23:00 PM tonight, I saw my cousin with some of my friends out enjoying themselves on Facebook and as we chatted online, I decided to join them.. They weren't expecting me
a cool surprise it was indeed..
Dear Susan, let's enjoy Nancy's wedding a bit more.. Today is her day..I hope I will remember the new recipe later ..
hugs
Ebru

Have a great trip, Kjones13! Sounds fantastic!
We went to the cat show today. Quite fun and something very different. My husband fell in love with several other "women" - all with four legs and fur. Especially the Maine Coon who kept reaching out of her cage to tap him on the arm.
They're looking for the best photo from the show, so I may enter a few of mine - if I win, I get $100 worth of cat stuff. And I've been inspired to enter Frida in the show on my birthday on 15 June, where they welcome "mutt" cats (more politely known as companion cats). So this means that I have to buy a cage along with suitable curtains and a bed. Truly turning into a nutty cat lady.
Here's a couple of cat show photos.
-
Truly stunning, Nancy! So happy you got your wish.
Hope you win, Kiwicatmom.
-
kjones, have a fabulous and relaxing trip!
Kiwicat,
The cat show sounds great. Sadly, I am so allergic to cats that I sneeze when I see pictures of them (not quite that bad, but close!)

-
Caryn - maybe I should stop posting cat pics then !
It was a fun day with something different to do over the weekend besides grocery shopping, cleaning house, and yard work!
-
Kiwi, the cat photos are adorable and love the idea of entering a cat show...good luck!
-
Thanks, Mrs.M. Frida is indeed adorable as well. A bit hard to see in my profile pic, perhaps, but she has a perfect little moustache. That combined with her tuxedo (white paws and chest, black body) and long whiskers makes her quite cute. So everyone who's seen her thinks we should enter her. I have until 16 May to decide, but think it might be a fun way to celebrate my birthday - with other nutty cat people!
-
Nancy, That was so beautiful to watch. I loved to listen to you and you dear husband talk about your story as a couple. You are both incredible! I'm so happy that you were chosen to have your vows renewed. The pictures are just lovely and I'm so glad you enjoyed the celebration, you looked absolutely radiant.
KiwiCatMom, The pics are great. I hope you enjoy the show on your birthday. Good Luck!
-
Kiwicat, here's a photo of my kee-boy as I call him. He's a total mamma's boy, I named him Peach because of his color and he turned out to be a peach of a cat. He's about 10 years old. I never owned cats until my late 40s and was so surprised at how much personality they have! We had a long-haired tuxedo cat named Phantom who only lived three years; he was beautiful and oh so ornery. Your Frida is gorgeous.
-
Achoo !!
-
Well, if we are moving into cat pictures, here are the two that I live with. They belong to the "boy"... one is hairy, and the other is fuzzy. They are brother and sister, but personally, I think they don't share a father. They love my office window since the tree outside attracts birds. It is kittie-TV.

Awww..Peach and the tuxedo siblings are adorable!
Caryn - bless you! Have a claritin.
-
I'm with you Exbrnxgrl! Achooo! Lol
-
LOL...Bless you, Cajun Queen! Just took a Claritin myself as I think I have a bit of a cat allergy. Doesn't stop me having cats though, and my mold allergy is much worse than my cat allergy. Not looking forward to another wet winter.
-
Nancy,
You and Jake are so truly beautiful....the video moved me to tears.
-
nancy, awesome!!
-
Nancy, I'm a cry-at-weddings type, and I definitely cried at yours. It was so beautiful.
Today was Yom HaAtzmaut (Independence Day) here. Last night I watched fireworks and today was a lovely barbecue with my family.

Thanks for the nice replies, gals. It was so wonderful, hard to get back to the regular routine after all the festivities and family. :-)
Kiwicat - the photos of the cats are beautiful!

I'm at chemo today but spent the last week at cedar key, a quaint fishing village in Florida with my husband, siblings and their spouses. We went sailing, kayaking, and ate and drank and laughed. It was a great week and I know I am so lucky to have a sister and brother who are so close to me!!
