Well ain't this great...made it to eight!
What would you all do without my corny annual posts! Guess I'd better start right now trying to find good rhymes for "nine" (why not be wildly optimistic?!)
To be honest, I'm still living with the same fears I had eight years ago when I was the one on the other end of the phone hearing the word "carcinoma". I look to heroes like weesa and Jacqueline and bugs to keep me believing that there IS life after such a horrifying diagnosis. We Stage IIIers are a very tough bunch!
I wish for each of us many more corny cancerversary topics in the years to come...

You had a pretty scary diagnosis, Sugarplum. No wonder you still harbor some fears!
But I am pretty sure next year 'bout this time of April, we'll be reading "Well damned if I'm not Doin' FINE AT NINE." In fact, I am positive. Weesa

Thank you for posting. My 2nd cancerversary is around the corner, (May 14th 2012 is the day when I got the "news"), and I've been feeling a lot of anxiety lately. Posts like yours give so much hope, especially for us III stagers.
Thank you for coming back and posting
Hugs!
