Memory effects from Exemestane/Aromasin?

Options

I've been on Exemestane for a few years now.  I feel as if my memory has gotten really bad.  I teach, and have difficulty remembering my students names.  I find it so frustrating when I can't remember the names of things (movies, actors, ect.).  Is anyone else experiencing this?  I also often have a dry cough, especially at night.  Can anyone way in on if they have any side effects like me?  Could this be from the chemo, or the meds, or am I just getting old?  Thanks for any replies.

Yes, to all the above, except for the cough.  Memory loss happens as we age, and with chemo and certain meds, aromasin is one.  It's very frustrating, embarrassing, and unprofessional to forget names and vocabulary.  I've also lost the ability to correctly pronounce complex words, even more unprofessional.  I mix up the order of the syllables.  Still I noticed all of these things happening to me to as I went through menopause, though to a smaller degree. I think the chemo and AIs have made it worse.

    Doxie,

Thanks for your post.  I feel much better knowing other people are experiencing the same things. Thank you for sharing with me.   I don't know if it's menopause, or the result of all the treatments I've had and meds I've been on.  I find it very frustrating.  I'm wondering if when I go off the Aromasin next June, if my memory will get any better.  I really hate this!
