5 years today since diagnosis!

Woo Hoo! 5 years ago today I was riding in my car about 4 in the afternoon.  My Dr. called me and said, " you sound like you're driving.  Why don't you pull over and I'll call you back in 2 minutes."  I had a feeling that wasn't good news.  I pulled over and she called me and said, "It's cancer and it's invasive."   I don't even really know what I felt... Kinda numb and weird... not really terrified at first... just sort of like, crap, I don't have time for this..

It wasn't until I found out about the nodes that I started to freak a little.   Anyway, here I am 5 years later, healthy, working, planning in a 100 mile bike ride this summer.  

I don't post much here anymore, but i lurk and read, and I appreciate how supportive this board is.
