Thanks. I'm sure it will be in paper, and the blame game starts.
-
SpecialK, I only have second-hand info on how I injured my knee.
-
dll - lol!
-
The 22nd will be here before we know it! Have you decided what kind of cheesecake you want to try this time? I am in a chocolate mood. I might have to go for the one that has that piece of Godiva on it. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!
-
We have reservations for noon (11:45 actually) on Saturday at our usual table. Please check the header for your name (or lack of name) so I can be certain to have a correct head count to the restaurant.
-
I will not be able to come for lunch, but may be able to pop in and say hello. I had thought I might be out of town, but that trip ended up being this past weekend. However, I have a good friend who is currently in treatment, will have chemo on Fri. and needs extra fluids on Sat. at FCS on MLK by the stadium - and I have been taking her to her appointments. If the timing is right, and depending on how she is feeling/doing, I can run over to Cheesecake Factory to see all of you while she is getting her stuff. This is her fourth and last AC, so she is pretty tired and feeling icky, so it is hard to say in advance!
-
OMG. Spookie and Togetherness? ! I want to go so badly, but I can't. Getting things ready for sx.
So hoping I will be healed up and ready to come to the next one!
-
Hope so too Bobo.
What name is the table held under? I've not been here with you, don't know where usual table is.
-
It is under my first name. PM me if you need to. The table is straight behind the check in desk. Go around that desk to the right. It is the long bench inside the bar area, on the left facing the bar.
-
I hope to see you SK and hope even more that your friend does well.
-
Excited to see all of you on Saturday! For those that can't make it, sorry to hear that. Know there will be another in the future though!
SpecialK, how kind and generous of you to help your friend like that!
-
Although I live in Texas, I'm from St. Petersburg and will be coming to visit for a week or two in May. Will you be having a get together that month? We haven't decided exactly when we will be there but are flexible since we are driving. I know we have to be there is for my daughter's graduation on May 13th.
-
I look forward to it!
-
I'm afraid I won't be able to make it on the 22nd. I've been really sick for the last month, and finally ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. My MO thinks the problems have all been caused by my targeted therapy, Afinitor. I'm off that now, thank heavens, and slowly recovering. I won't be going anywhere anytime soon, though. I was hoping to meet you all, but maybe next time.
-
Awwww Mary, I'm sorry to hear that. Miss having coffee!
-
Hopefully, we can have coffee again before long!
-
V surprised that the table reserved for the Tampa area sisters is facing the bar
-
So sorry guys but I am not going to be able to make it on Saturday. Having issues with getting my incisions to close after I had to have my implants removed. Currently doing gauze packing with a home health nurse. Just uncomfortable and not up for the drive. Hopefully I can come next month. Woud luv to meet all of you! Enjoy!
-
I'm not going to be able to make it either. My DH has been in the hospital with pneumonia for 3 days. I really don't feel like I should be gone all day till he is better.
-
Kira1234, Togetherness, and MaryLW, we will miss you.
Sandra4611, I hope we can coordinate your trip with one of our gatherings.
-
Do you usually meet about the same time every month?
-
There is no usual time except that it is every 2-3 months. So May is very likely. And we might actually plan around you!
-
<blush> I'd be honored! The support group here is full of 70-something women who were diagnosed 5-10 years ago and treatment has changed so much, we have little in common.
-
Ladies, how disheartening to hear of the troubles you're now facing. Mary and Togetherness...oh my, only good thoughts for the two of you; Kira...get that man better!
-
I'm hopeful a friend of mine who is now Five years clear will be able to join us. Were I not at a PS appt the other day, I'd not have seen her and thought to invite her. Cindy was one of those who was a sounding board for me during the initial and crazy days of the BC journey.
-
GalSal, I hope Cindy will join us!
For those mending or caregiving and unable to attend, I hope you well very soon. Kira, taking care of our DHs can be quite consuming, lol jk, hope he feels better soon.
Sandra4611,
Hope to see you in May!
Anybody need a ride from Ulmerton rd (I275) , send me a pm!
Soon,
Firework
-
Cindy can't join us tomorrow (not enough notice so there's a scheduling conflict) but would love to another time. Speaking of rides, I'm unable to drive right now and have a ride to Cheesecake Factory. Might there be any one I can catch a ride from to get home to the Gandy/Dale Mabry area?
Thanks!
-
I am happy that I can change my "maybe" status to a "YES" for lunch tomorrow. Look forward to seeing everyone.
Galsal, I can give you a ride home if you don't mind that the a/c is out in my car. With the cooler temps I procrastinated too long on getting the a/c fixed. It is on my to do list for next Saturday.
-
I'm sorry to say I can't make it to our get together today
Three out of four pups are throwing up so I've got to get them into Vets Office when it opens!
Have a great time and I'll see y'all next get together. So sorry to miss this one.

I am not going to make it today either. My sister was in ER with pain vomiting from cyst on her ovary so I'm on nephew duty. Was holding out to see if pain Meds helped her pain resolve but not the case. Definitely hope to see you next time this is second get together I missed:(
