Wednesday Weigh In
Comments
-
I just got back from a week's vacation. Lots of activity but even more eating......am NOT looking forward to the scale on Wednesday!
-
Welcome back Ruth. Boy, the time sure flew by.
-
Time flies when you're having fun......or as frogs say, "Times fun when you're having flies."
-
I'm dreading tomorrow, too. And I have not been on vacation, so no excuse.
-
137.6 up a pound from last week. Darn!
-
Up 2.2. Not surprised......
-
Down another one!!! 145. In fact, when I stepped on it flashed 144 a couple of times!! So that's 2 down since my nipple recon last Wednesday!!! I'm considering getting more nipples....
10 to go!!
-
Down one lb to 118.7.
We're about half way through the first quarter of 2014, Ladies. Lets keep our eyes on our goals for March 31!
-
I'm glad my gain didn't start a trend. Congrats losers!!!
-
Up one to 132. I knew this wasn't going to be pretty. I'm going to get past valentines day and hit the healthy eating.
-
Visiting with my kids in Calgary at the moment, and they do not have a scale, which is a GOOD THING, because the news would certainly have been bad - hahahaaa. Celebrated DH and DS birthdays over the weekend. Last night had Chinese food. Tonight we're going out to a bar for chicken wings. This weekend we're having a baby shower for DD . . . need I say more? On the positive side - I have been on the treadmill for an hour every day, even Saturday and Sunday, so hopefully it will mitigate the eating. Somehow. I hope.
-
Lifie, if there's ever a time to relax and enjoy good food, it's when you're spending precious time with loved ones you don't get to see every day. At least you're exercising. That's more exercise than I usually get when I go visit my daughters.
-
Thanks Annie! You are so right. I'm going to enjoy being with my kids, and stop this ridiculous obsessing about how much I'm eating. On my way to the treadmill now.
-
Stressful week at work=carbs=1 lb. Simple Equation.
-
I got a new battery for my scales yesterday and am 136.4 this morning which would be down .2 from last week instead of up 1 pound. Maybe the secret is keeping those batteries fired up. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
-
-
Ruthbru and Marple, hahahahaaaaa!!!
-
Back home from a break in the mountains. Just 100 grams down. But better than the alternative.
-
I don't know about you all, but Girl Scout cookies and Valentines Day in the same month is a double whammy for me! Tracking my WW points is getting painful, but at least it keeps me honest.
-
Oh my.
Son came home from college for the weekend. He hasn't been home in a while so I made his favorite cookies. Then we had BBQ chicken pizza with chips and dip for dinner last night. I think it would be best if I did not look at the scale for a few days. Ugh.
-
Don't look, Dulci, don't look! If you did, I'm sure it was the salty chips. (That's what I tell myself).
I need consistancy. Yesterday I had sushi for lunch and chicken stir fry for dinner with lots of vegetables and an apple for dessert. I was down .4 lbs this morning but I just had a lapse of judgement. I bought my son donuts for Valentine's day because he doesn't like candy and well, I just had to have a chocolate frosted cake donut. NOW I regret it. That old song "Junk Food Junkie" came to mind if anyone remembers that:
Well, at lunchtime
You can always find me
At the Whole Earth Vitamin Bar
Just sucking on my plain white yogurt
From my hand thrown pottery jar
And sippin' a little hand pressed cider
With a carrot stick for dessert
And wiping my face
In a natural way
On the sleeve of my peasant shirt
Oh yeahAh, but when that clock strikes midnight
And I'm all by myself
I work that combination
On my secret hideaway shelf
And I pull out some Fritos corn chips
Dr. Pepper and an Ole Moon Pie
Then I sit back in glorious expectation
Of a genuine junk food high -
lol!!! Funny lyrics!!
I did not do too badly on the chips, but....I am NOT a cook/chef/lover of baking, but I say this sincerely...I make INCREDIBLE chocolate chip cookies. And I just keep eating them. Plus just looking at pizza makes me gain two pounds.
Now BACK TO WORK!!!!!
-
TwoH, I don't remember that song, but the lyrics are hilarious! I do love Fritos. Now I will have to try to put them out of my mind.
-
I weighed in at 115.5 this morning, which is down 3 lbs and quite a surprise. I expect I'll be up next week, though. Maybe the running has paid off.
-
That's great Annie, you've got some wiggle room. 136.0 down .4 from last week.
-
Up .5. This has to stop! Maybe the rain will let up enough to get outside.
-
Up two. Thank you cookies, exercise restrictions and first period in 3 months.
-
Up half a pound.....I have been eating like I am still on vacation.....must stop!
-
I'm too scared to get on the scale. Will weigh next week. LOL.
-
I'm with liefie.
