Wednesday Weigh In
Comments
-
Congratulations, Liefie. How wonderful! I will weigh in tomorrow too. My excuse is far more boring and no joy involved. I'm in such a rush Wednesday mornings due to my work schedule that I frequently forget to weigh.
Wow it seems everyone is doing good this week. I hope I'll be in the same boat but I'm kind of expecting to be approximately the same as last week. We'll see.
-
Liefie, that's the best excuse ever and becoming a grandmother is the best thing ever! Congratulations! I have six grandchildren, the oldest graduates from high school this year and the youngest is just 4 months old.
-
Liefie, we do want you to post a weight: the weight of the new baby (also the sex, name, how much hair etc. etc.). How exciting!
-
Here goes. Emily-Anne was born at 5.51 pm this afternoon, she weighs in at 6 lbs 9 oz, 20 inches long. Mom and baby both well. SIL texted 3 photos, but she is so swaddled that you can't really see anything. My DD looks so content with the baby, and SIL has a very big smile. This was such a good day.
-
Congratulations Liefie. What a perfect weigh in day.
-
Babies are the best!
I weighed exactly the same as last week but I'm happy as It is 1 lb lower than that damn plateau I was on. So glad I kept it off.
-
A friend just posted this on facebook. This is the "diet plan" I try to follow at least 90% of the time.
-
Congratulations Liefie!
-
Congratulations Liefie! How long before you get to see her in person?
-
Congratulations on the 6lbs 9oz weight gain!
-
To all of you, thanks so much for the good wishes. It is a special time for me.
Ruthbru - LOL! That's a very good gain indeed!
Annie, I'm going there tomorrow, and will be staying for a while. They went home this morning already. Had a haircut and pedicure this morning so Grandma will be presentable when she meets little Em. Also acquired a few pink outfits - oh, this feels sooo good!
-
Liefie, I knew a grandmother who waited until she was watching the baby alone. Then she put all the little outfits on her and took photos.
-
Wren, what a good idea! I will remember that. Thanks!
-
Wren, that grandma story is so funny! Thanks for the chuckle.
-
Congrats, Liefie!
Same as last week.
-
132.8 which is the same as last week.
-
Up 1 to 165 - not sure why, I watched what I ate for the most part, and started increasing exercise. Just one of those little anomalies I guess. So I weigh exactly the same as New Years Day, which means I would need to lose 7 lbs to get back to my pre Thanksgiving weight. Sigh, big sigh. Got to keep at it, hopefully I can post a loss next week.
-
Up half a pound, but still below 120, so I'm on track for my goal for the first quarter of 2014.
-
When I weighed in at WW meeting on Mon., I was down 4 lbs for the week. From 168 to 164. This morning I'm 163.5. I've been tracking my points conscientiously.
One very satisfying low-point meal, breakfast or lunch, is 1/2 c Greek yogurt, 2 T of Quaker's Natural granola, and fresh strawberries, which are from FL or CA and are delicious. This costs me only 2 pts and I really enjoy it. The yogurt is nonfat plain with some splenda added. It's so good I could actually eat it without the sweetener.
Saturday is my birthday and I'm going out to lunch on Friday and out to dinner on Saturday so I don't expect weight loss when I weigh in on Mon.
-
Same.
-
Down .5 to 131. Still hoping for some 2s.
-
bad.....my birthday was Monday and I have been celebrating since last Friday; I have company tonight & tomorrow night & then I have to be DONE!
-
I am up .4 lb. I haven't been overeating but I did have more carbs than I normally do, ie Pesto Pasta on Monday. It was good but it never agrees with me weight-wise.
-
Ruth, Happy Birthday. A week's celebration is appropriate.
-
Happy (belated) birthday Ruth. If you are still celebrating perhaps it's not all that belated. Enjoy.
-
Thanks!
-
ok ladies- I'm back in the game! Thanks for letting me join:)
I started weight watchers this week, down 2 lbs-- as great as that is, I know it's the easy stuff that comes off first.. My goal is 20 lbs. 18 more to go!!!!!
-
Swimmom, you take credit for that two lbs and be proud of yourself. That's a good start.
Dulci posted the crap diet. I think I've discovered a simple diet too. The "no added sugar" diet. This will keep you on a whole food diet because in addition to eliminating muffins, pies, cookies, cake, ice cream, you also can't eat packaged bread, crackers, cereal, or pancakes either. If I can stick to it, I'm sure I'll drop a pound or two next Wednesday!
-
Two, Don't forget ketchup. Has a tsp of sugar per tablespoon of ketchup. Who knew?
-
Wren, the list is endless isn't it? I never cared for ketchup but barbecue sauce falls in that category as do other marinades and many salad dressings.
