After chemo and mx surgery with 100% path response (4 nodes showing fibrosis), I had a consult with RO. He recommends 7 weeks of tx 5 days per week. Wondering what was length of treatment for you ladies with similar dx and results?

I know I probably should get a 2nd opinion, but I'm ready to get this over and if 7 weeks is the standard then I want to get moving. However, if there's a good chance I could do 5 weeks or less, then I'm willing to take the time to get another opinion.

Thats about right.  I had 33 sessions - 6 1/2 weeks - nodes positive, large tumor , double mastectomy and chemo.  From what I have read that others have posted - 33 is average

I ended up with 32 sessions - 28 regular (25 for supraclavical nodes - so that angle was discontinued for my last 3 "regular" visits), then 4 boosts to my scar.

My regular angles during treatment were for my chest wall, skin, supraclavical nodes, and drain sites -  using a bolus for the skin and drain scars.

I had 30 on my chest wall and axilla up to the side of my neck avoiding they thyroid. Naked chest wall-had MX but was not allowed reconstruction due to state of health. Then I had 5 boosts on the scar.
