Had an e-mail from Ter recently. She is having a lot of pain. She doesn`t go on the computer so much now.
She is such a soldier and needs all prayers, good thoughts, healing vibes - she`s amazing such a fighter and a great spirit. I will tell her the girls were asking about her health.

I posted on another thread that I talked to her Sunday. She's very tired and in some pain; she's on a new med that helps with the pain somewhat. She knows everyone is thinking of her.

Hi ladies..
Just got an e-mail from her and will be calling her in the next week or so. She is in pain. Let's pray that some of those pains will be eased by her new meds in the coming days and weeks.
She knows that you all care... -
thank you, ravdeb! debbyfive

Let Ter know christinek thinks of her often.
I had gotten some pm's from her but never an email address. I'd love to send her an e-card. Would someone check out if that is OK and pm me her email address? -
Lokkig forward to communicating with our old friend, Ter.
THANKS JANIS!!!! -

Thinking of you and praying for you Ter.
Hugs, Janie -
I'll never forget being in some forum or other and reading a message from Ter saying that there were some newbies in Recently Diagnosed or Help Me Get Through Treatment that needed help. She and a few others jumped in and in that magical way they have, responded to all the new posters giving help and hope.
I looked for her posts after that and will always be grateful for the caring person that she is.
It's a shame her commitment to this message board had to end the way that it did. I wish her the best of luck in finding pain meds that help her through this.
We love you, Ter. -
WE LOVE YOU TER! debbyfive

I spoke with Ter on Sunday and she's still in a lot of pain and her pain doctor is is trying to figure out something better for her. Also, she mentioned computer problems so if she hasn't replied to your e-mail(s) that's probably why. So, healing thoughts would still be appreciated I'm sure.

Thanks for the update Janis. I was hoping she wasn't in too much pain to get the email I sent.
-
OH JANIS, thank you for the update! GODS SPEED SWEET TER! debbyfive

(Lainie typing for Mom)
Just wanted to let you know I spoke with Terrie a few days ago. Her computer died and a friend is trying to help them set up a new one but it may be awhile before they figure it out. Also, because she is not doing very well at the moment she may not be online very much if she does get the computer hooked up.
She said it was ok for me to post on here about her condition. She is having a hard time eating or keeping down what she does manage to eat. Because of this she has lost a lot of weight and has little energy. She stays in bed most of the time now and is in a lot of pain. They have her on very strong meds and understandably she has a hard time being concise in her thoughts. She talks a lot about hospice but is afraid to commit to it fully because she is afraid of losing her insurance if she does go into hospice. For myself, I think it is more a matter of her being afraid that once she goes into hospice, that is the final step.
Although Terrie would never ask, I will- she could use all your prayers and kind thoughts. Whenever I speak with Terrie, she never asks for anything, she is just thankful that her friends haven't forgotten her. If you wish to send her a card I will be glad to forward them to her for you. You can PM me for my address.
Please keep Terrie in your thoughts and prayers,
Niki -
I also spoke to Ter. I'm in Florida at the moment and she and I have spoken a couple of times. She needs prayers. She is in a lot of pain and her meds are helping her but she still prays for some relief.
She is busy putting together a scrapbook and I'm very happy to hear that she is doing this.
Keep Ter in your thoughts please! -
Thanks Niki and Ravdeb for the update on Ter. I'm definitely keeping her in my prayers.
hugs,
vicki -
I think of her every day and hope she finds relief from her pain. Glad to hear she has the scrapbook project. I hope she finds much joy in it.
