100 Days of Gratitude

I am glad my simulation for rads is over and the tattoo's! I wasn't overly concerned but glad to have it behind me!
-
I am grateful I was able to have a good nap today, I really needed it! Yeah Friday!
-
Day #10 - I am very grateful there was no traffic on the freeway coming home from yoga and PT
-
I am grateful that my son is home from college for the weekend. I've really missed him.
I am grateful that I am able to take my mother in law grocery shopping on Fridays. When I still worked, I really didn't take the time to notice that she's reaching the age to need help. I'm grateful my breast cancer experience made me more aware of what's truly important.

Which is why I've decided to go on a vacay. Learning they only took 1 of the 4 tumors threw me for a loop. So more knife work, rads, chemo and tamoxifen for 5 - 10 years. I plan to lay on the beach, swim in the ocean, read on my balcony and dance the night away.
-
redreading. They didn't take out all the tumors?
I am thankful that it is Friday and that my bathroom is almost all renovated. Bath time!
-
Sounds wonderful, Red!
I am grateful for a sunny, mild day. And I am grateful that my annoying, but beloved, old cats survived getting their teeth cleaned (which is a surgical procedure in the animal kingdom).... I think I will look for a vet the next time I need surgery because they make you stay over night for FREE just to make sure you are doing alright before they send you go home!!!
-
No Gritgirl. Apparently the radiologist ordered 4 biopsies on 4 suspected tumors, but the guy with the needle only did one. So that's what my BS operated on. My MO wanted to know why I had chosen to remove only one. My response was. Pardon? So I'm off to enjoy the sun. My life is precious to me and I'm darn well going to enjoy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
redreading. In the US that would be a law suit for malpractice. So sorry. Go enjoy that vacation.
-
grateful it is Friday evening. I am home, kids out, tv remote to myself and quiet!
-
Gritgirl, great new selfie!
Ruth, I had to read the post to get the meaning. You're right, I think I might prefer a vet too
-
I am grateful I had enough energy to get a little cleaning up and a couple of errands done today, with naps in between. Friends are coming to visit tomorrow.
-
I am grateful for the time to spend chilling with my SIL, niece and grand nephews.........fantastic!
-
I am so grateful its friday and my cold is better. I am also grateful I told my boss how tired I am and she said I should try and work from home when I can.
-
I am grateful for my beautiful Goddaughter who I went to lunch with today, when I went to get out my wallet to pay, she said 'oh no, I'm treating you' unexpected and appreciated.
-
Day # 11 - I am grateful for my eyes that allow me to see all that is beautiful in this world.
I thought I would focus on the positives my body can still do for a while, rather than the negatives.

I am grateful to the wonderful doctors and staff at my cancer centre. Also the great 5 year checkup that I passed with flying colours.
-
Morning ladies! So glad to "see" everyone!
Today I am grateful for a glorious Oklahoma sunrise of blue and pink. We expect highs in the 60's for the next ten days. Summer is hellacious, but January can be awesome!
-
I am grateful that DH is going to the grocery store for me today.
mumito..congrats on your 5 year check....
-
Mumito - congrats how wonderful
I am grateful for 50 degrees in Massachusetts this AM and I am planning a long weekend away with friends for late February Wahoo
-
Day #11
Today I am grateful that I woke up in a good and happy mood. Feeling very optimistic this morning.
Mumito, congrats on the 5 year.
Ruth, where can I find a good vet. Lol
Tanya, nice idea - to appreciate what our bodies CAN do.
Here's an oddity for you. Since my dx, I haven't been having those terrible leg cramps that used to get me out of bed at night, trying to walk them out. Maybe my brain can only deal with one bodily disfunction at a time. Strange, eh?
-
I am grateful for my sweet husband who prepares breakfast daily and does all the dishwasher chores after every meal. To repay him, I am planning to make more fruitcake for him today.
-
congrats on the 5 year mark, mumito!!!!
I am grateful for the reality that time does pass, and things do change....feeling so much better today.
-
I am grateful for the warmer weather and sunshine that melted the ice off the roads. Horrible ice storm last night.
Glad you are doing better nihahi.
-
Hey Mum it's nice to see you, and congrats on the 5 years.
Today I am grateful for my across the street neighbor, she saw my garage door up and called and asked if I wanted some help for a couple of hours as she saw I was reorganizing.
-
Cool Mumito!! Happy dance.
Day #11: I am grateful my mom did not hurt herself when she rolled out of bed the other night. She takes blood thinners and we were really worried because she was really bruised and complaining of pain. Scans showed no brain bleeds, no broken bones, no major damage.
-
today I'm grateful for my husbands new (2007) car that we picked up! His 1997 died last week after serving us well and we were down to my 1996! Hopefully this one will give us many kms!
Hope everyone is enjoying their week end.
-
I am grateful that today we celebrated my sons 21st birthday.
Red enjoy your vacation.
-
I am grateful for my friends who came down today to cheer me up after I learned my latest tx didn't work and help with errands. I have been so tired lately, and it's really a boost to get the items I had set aside to donate to the thrift store out of my living room where they were piled up.
