100 Days of Gratitude
Comments

I am grateful today for a really good night's sleep. ahhhh Feels good.
Chrissy - Arthur Itis is not a bad fellow.
Curveball - So sorry for the progression, but so glad there are more options.
I'd like to acknowledge everyone separately but instead I will wish everyone a really good day. Hugs to all you beautiful ladies.

Day #9
I am grateful for slowly warming temperatures. I was getting worried that this would hang on for another week, and that like so many others, my flight to the warm south would be postponed or cancelled.
Maddy, sorry - I was just going for virtual hugs from you and curve and was happy I saw your post. Lol.
-
I am grateful for my skilled and compassionate PS and for pain meds.
-
Well then, Red:

I'm grateful I woke up today without dread. Onco said there's other tools for me in the bucket when I need them again.
Chrissy, Arthur is pretty frisky...keeps me busy as well!
Curveball there's so much available, they will find another ringer!
Beautiful sunny day here ladies! Jo
-
Thank Maddy, I am now good until Feb 10th. Lol. (((hugs)))
-
anytime, Red, remind me if I forget, there's lots for you, sweetie!
-
nihahi - Sometime when you feel like it please tell us about your reconstruction journey. Looks like it has been arduous. I'd be very interested to know what it feels like to have the TEs removed from behind the pecs.
-
I am grateful it's finally time to put the insulation back in my floor. I just looked out the window and it looks like the crew is just about finished. The insulation was removed last August when I started an extensive remodel, and I suspect a lot of the warmth from my heated bathroom floor has been going into the crawl space instead of the bathroom as a result. I hope now it will be toasty warm in the bathroom!
Added later: insulation made an immediate improvement
-
Hi Curve, I'm glad you are getting the insulation back in your floors. And Monday is counter top measuring. Yay! Your reno is almost done. What's will you do next? It's almost spring (cough cough) how about the gardens/landscaping? :-)
-
I am grateful because I got a call to sub in my old room. I love, love those kids so it was a really fun day!
-
jo. That us wonderful!
Curve ball. They are coming out with more options. Have you talked to your onc about affinitor?
I'm grateful for researchers who push for funding and for groups like Metavivor who fund the cutting-edge research. A friend kept going with Hepatitis C for 23 years by going from clinical trial to clinical trial. She was finally part of the trial that found the cure and now she is disease free.
-
Day #10 I am grateful for our native wildlife. Everyday I get hours of free entertainment watching their antics. The gorgeous King parrots are my favourites, if you dont hear them call, they come and knock on the windows. They are very inquisitive and like to interract with us.
-
I am grateful for the beauty of a deer that ran across the road as I was driving down a rural road. He was a big one, but the grace with which it lept across the road put a smile on my face all afternoon.
I'm so happy to hear of everyone who is responding well to treatments. I needed to read that. I hope everyone is enjoying finding something special in each day as much as I am!

Hi Red.......what a great thread........brings some joy to the day.......
I am grateful that my disabled great grandaughter got to sing a Katy Perry song today...she was injured at birth by an agressive OB who decided to pull her out feet first instead of a C-section she was the 2nd born of identical twins....she can't stand alone, or sit alone...she has to crawl on the floor, but today she sang...
If you would like to see her...go to UTube.....put Grayson Charlton in the search....she is the little one in the Gait Walker singing with Katy Perry.........will be back everyday to say what I am grateful for..hugs
-
I am grateful for a warmer day here in the northeast.

-
Ducky - Grayson is adorable! Thanks for sharing the smile with us.
I am grateful for haldol even though the SEs aren't fun (constipation and sleep disturbances), it seems to be keeping the nausea at bay and getting up at 5 or 5:30 provides some quality time with DH.
-
I'm grateful that I have an iPad and can still communicate with you all even though I am away from home........still.

Day # 10
I am grateful that it is Friday. I get to wear jeans to work as long as I donate an item to our food bank drive. I love jeans.
Welcome, honeybair (lol spell check tried to correct that to honey bait)
Gritgirl, going beyond 100 says is certainly a possibility. Let's wait a bit and make a decision closer to the 100 days. What do you think?
-
Today is a challenge for me to find "gratitude"....I guess it's going to have to be I'm grateful for icepacks and hope it helps my sore muscles.
-
I am grateful I am able to speak.
-
-
I am grateful that today is Friday and I get two days to relax and de-stress from work. I am also grateful that I continue to feel well and that the Abraxane continues to work so that I can continue to work.
