    Good morning all!

Today I am grateful that our city is coming by with a big claw truck to gather up all the branches from the December ice storm instead of me having to cut and bundle them..

    Day #8

I am also grateful for sunshine today. It is still bitterly cold, but at least it's pretty.

Even though I've been dealing with this nasty disease for 17 years, I am grateful that here I am 17 years into my journey and I'm still doing okay.  I still have my full time job and am living a close to normal life.  Sure I have issues with the various treatments, but am grateful that I have great wigs, that my GI issues have gotten better since I came off of Perjeta and that most days I have great energy and very little side effects.  I'm grateful that the Abraxane is working and my markers have come down to below 200. I'm also so happy when I read the positive news from all of the other ladies on this board.

Today I'm grateful for heating pads, my back went out and the heating pad is making it feel better.

I am grateful for the good reports of Chrissy, Grit, & Pearl.

I am grateful that we can support Ziggy's Smoke Free Adventure.

I am grateful for my walking club. A group of us retired teachers meet every Wednesday morning. We walk for an hour and then eat for two! They are a fantastic and fun group of ladies, who were acquaintances in our super busy 'full time jobs' lives, and now they have become good friends.

today it's hard for me after hearing a fellow TN'er has had a recurrence, so I must dig deep. I am grateful for long underwear to keep me warm when I really feel the cold bite through me. I am grateful this day is almost over and I can wake up to a new day. Prayers for Fighter_34

I am grateful that even though my most recent treatment didn't stop progression, there are still more things to try.

(Day #8) I am grateful for all the big and little things that are happening for all of you, and that we still find ways to be grateful even when life doesn't give us what we want (Curveball, so sorry to read, but you have a great attitude, my friend)

For me, I am grateful to wake up to a nice clean living area.

awe, Red, thanks! Actually, have been here since page one. So glad you started this, was thinking about something for the new year, you did so much better than what I could think of. Hope that makes sense, I'm tired

It's early for day 9, so grateful DD arrived safely in Hawaii with her BF and she even sent me a safe arrival text shortly after they landed. I'm also grateful that DH came home 3 hours early and wasn't irritated that dinner wasn't quite ready yet

So very grateful for all of the great reports from bco sisters! I was trying to keep track (Chrissy, Gritgirl, Curveball, JoCanuck) but the list keeps growing which is WONDERFUL! (hope I didn't miss anyone)

Also grateful that I was able to get out of the house yesterday and into civilization after 3 days of blizzards and road closures.

VERY grateful for small towns where even if the pharmacy is closed due to bad weather, the pharmacist lives above the store and posts her phone # on the door for emergency scripts needed AND fills a script for you with a smile and a thank you.

I am grateful for the little fellow sitting on the couch this morning. He's my niece daughters son, calls me nana, and stays with me while mom & dad are at work.

Curveball ((hugs)) Isn't it wonderful that multiple treatments are available.
