Pain?

Anyone experience pain after dx? I've had it one and off since the biopsy and PEM, but the last week has been really bad. I finally called my DR and they suggested the procedures and scans may have pinched a nerve or bruised. I have some meds now, but there is a fear that the pain is the cancer spreading. Dr's office assured me that it is unlikely, but I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this.

    Pain is always something that gets your mind wondering. I am 6 weeks out from my surgery and I get unexpected pain that I immediately think "what now". I do think bruising is certainly a possibility that could cause pain. Listen to your body and keep in touch with your physician when something seems out of the range of normal is what I would suggest

    Yes tangandchris, I do remember a deep achy pain behind my nipple that referred thru the whole breast. I kept thinking this was the cancer inside. I had already been diagnosed and biopsied a few weeks prior and was awaiting the surgery. I couldn't wait to get it out of me even though I hated losing my breast. I took some excedrine which did work, and it never came back again. I hope you feel better. I'm sorry you're going thru this.
