Oh my - I've posted twice 2 long posts, then have been logged out in the interim. I'm exhausted. Mods? Love to all. Maybe I'll submit and not be logged out this time. -
Kam, it's probably the Obamacare website bleeding its suckery all over BCO. -
Ted Cruz as Jesus? Really? Have any of these morons EVER actually read the new testament?
- From one who does not believe in the divinity of Jesus but does believe in his teachings. -
LOL E! Soon I will write in code. Can't seem to remember to copy/paste before I submit. -
E - you may be correct, but I also think Medicare may have something to do with this "commie plot." -
Carrot and Alexandria -- yes, yes. I just saw that and was wondering if I could get it to post here. So amazed about what sleaze-bag extremists can pass for now. I think I was just reading yesterday about those who are PAID to PROMOTE the Tehadists and far right wingnut agendas. Well, no need to tell you what I think of anyone having to pay to sell their ( as in the above article ) brainless idiotic trash. Only the really weak-minded could fall for that. So again, just amazing. Just sad that some could take it to heart -- not realizing how lucky they will be when it doesn't fly as they would be the first candidates to be thrown to the wolves for appeasement and to be gotten out of the way of progress.

I was just wondering why it is that in the photo posted on the previous page with three Republicans, there are three flags One is the Canadian flag, one seems to be the Confederate flag and one I can't recognize seems to have a coiled snake on it. Ted Cruz is in the photo. Was he paying homage to his various roots? -
lassie - I think they might have been photoshopped. The yellow one is the Gadsden flag (Don't tread on me). Fittingly, a coiled snake representing the TeaParty.
And now this -- chicken hawk Cheney:
http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/03/12/dick-cheney-cancels-toronto-trip-says-canada-is-too-dangerous/ -
That's interesting C4C since Cheney seems to walk around with impunity in the USA. I'm suprised he's not being arrested, out of country, by some foreign government's warrant for his arrest. Yeah Canada! Now we have the threat of his daughter running for the GOP nomination for US Senate in Wyoming. God help us please. Guess the candidate's mother was quite mad at Alan Simpson (former GOP Senator from WY) for supporting Enzi over Lizzy and told him to Shut Up the other day - despite being a "longtime family friend." -
Canada's feeling about Cheney doesn't have too much on us here I don't think. Loved Kelly's blurb at the side of the article.

oh blue, imagine I have that exact waterfall snapshot. Its off the Columbia river in Oregon. Its a beautiful spot. What fun to remember. -
Hi, Chickadee - hope all those nasty little fuckers are getting Z-A-P-P-E-D and you're feeling ok during the process. It must be sooooo stressful.
Tee, hee...cheney afraid to go to Canada. Whatzamattah, he don't believe in free speech? How come that dude hasn't been arrested for war crimes? Just wondering...
Every body ready for the Great Pumpkin? Hoping all have very sincere pumpkins on their thresholds, don't expect many of us have pumpkin patches. -
Hahahahahaa! From the link....
From Full Comment’s Kelly McParland -
Cheney also won't go to Vermont - too many towns passed resolutions that he should be arrested as a war criminal.

Darth can never, ever, ever leave his undisclosed location! Bwahahahaha! -
And speaking of the progressive green mountain state: -
For Sampson.....
-
have you seen the Youtube- No Women, No Drive? Funnee people in Saudi Arabia too. If enough people laugh at stupid laws will they be rescinded? We can only live in hope. -
Ooooooh! Sampson would love that filly!
I had my first lesson with our new trainer today and he was tough. Poor Sampson didn't know what hit him, and neither did my legs. They are noodles now. Painful noodles.
Looks like I don't qualify for the NCI immunotherapy trial. I am very disappointed. More biopsies and genotyping are in my future. Blurgh!!
E -
Oh, E, I'm disappointed with you. Is there a "silver lining" in there, you weren't "sick enuf" or something? Does it mean there are more things no trial that those docs want you to try first? Still have all mobile digits crossed for you.
That is a gorgeous horse -how does everyone know it's a "filly" - sure is beautiful.
Back to watching The Game....warm in St. Louis, it was 61 when game started. Near 30 here now - giving thanks for yummy flannel sheets & Lanz flannel nightgowns, Vermont Country Store has the "real" ones - the ones in stores are much thinner now...bleah.
Sweet dreams all.... -
I am disappointed for you too E. It sounded wonderful. Maybe at some point in the future if they are still doing trials you could re-apply......which may show my lack of knowledge about those things.
Hope it won't be long for the noodles to get back to normal. Hope that trainer turns out to do a wonderful job though. Hugs to you and Sampson.

E, arrrrrrgh about the trial. Hoping another, better/more compatible, one comes along soon! Even if it reduced you to noodles, sounds like the training was at least exciting.
(Having fun with the new emoticons, ) -
https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/books/2013/10/the-big-new-yorker-book-of-cats.html I hope this opens up. So little time this a.m. but I scanned not really able to understand.

This is interesting....and heartening too: -

I really feel for those girls. I was 28 when I started to leave the faith I was raised in, and about 30 by the time I actually accomplished it. Though it wasn't quite as "crazy" as the Westboro Church, it was certainly (in my mind at least) a cult that required cleansing of my mind afterward. I went through so much in those years - it's a shame, really that I had young children as I was so focused on my own issues that I don't think they got enough from me of what they needed and deserved. -
http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/alice-americans-slipping-out-of-the-middle-class/2013/10/25/7555ce0c-3699-11e3-80c6-7e6dd8d22d8f_story.html A good little article I stumbled on which talks about the two different ends of the middle class and what could possibly be expected in the up-coming ( both 14' and 16' ) elections.

Blue, your pictures are always divine. Just read the article Carrots. Sigh !!!! It is never easy to walk away, but the WBC does seem definitely a cult like ambiance. The only difference I could see was that the girls were actually allowed to leave. I will never ceased to be amazed at the prejudice that the God of love seems to harbor --- anything and everything -- whatever leaning someone doesn't care for is likely the item.
Many of those type are dangerous....I think a few are even in the ssshh T. Party. If they aren't that they are tiresome bores. The T. Party is often that too. I must be dense, but the in-ability to understand that the rest of the world is NOT with you is so obvious and I'm baffled trying to understand how you think riding rough-shod will ever really get you there.
I have read some of the pieces that have come out about how they do it, but I still find myself wondering why someone who obviously has a brain can ignore the truth so consistently. There are so many "chosen" ones, but I don't think there will ever be quite enough. At least I hope not.
