weakness in legs

hello


my wife was diagonised in july2011 and did FEC+TAXOTERE chemo and then radiation and now Tamoxifen SINCE LAST 1 3/4 years


currently she fells weakness in legs in morning ,some times in right leg and sometimes in left leg


we went to GP and he Rx multivitamin


i am bit worried that could this be coonected to bome mets


note:no other pain other then weakness in legs

    hi Many, so sorry to hear this and my advice would be to phone your wife's onc and ask to see him/her. Should he/she feel that a visit and or scans are in order he/she will let you know.


    I know all this is very worrying to you but please try not to get ahead of yourselves........there are other explanations.

    crissy Does this mean this leg weakness issue is connected to bone mets ? Why do u warrant us to meet mo?

    Many I suggested your onc as it may be Tamoxifen related or pinched nerve due to bulging disc, and while you are under active treatment your onc is the go to guy or girl as the case may be. If he/she thinks scans are in order then he/she will order them.


    As I said in my first post, there are many reasons why this happens and not everything like this is due to mets.

    Is your wife on Simvastatin? That causes muscle weakness. I am on Simvastatin and my legs are wobbly sometimes.


    Anyone who is on Simvastatin really should be working out doing strength training to combat muscle weakness.
