I thought I read somewhere that active growing cancer causes a person to be HOT.  Anyone have comments?  just worried

Sounds bogus to me.   Even a growing cancer by weight is such a small part of your overall body weight that I can't see how it's possible for you to "feel" it that way.

Hot flashes however are common during and after chemo, and if you are taking tamoxifen or AI, or if your menopausal.   It's very common after breast cancer.   My doctor asks me about hot flashes every time I see him, and it's not because he thinks it's cancer.

Nope.  Certainly tx or meds will do that but I've never heard the cancer itself.

My wife just had a "everything is perfectly normal" visit with the oncologist today.

Sometimes she will be sitting in a chair and she'll start sweating so much that the sweat will drip off of her nose.
