Hi all: After all your posts, I think I will get me a real wine, forget the tea stuff.
-
cheers!!!!!!!!
-
laughing my ass off @ the febreeze, too funny!
-
Oh you ladies are a hoot! Lini, I'll walkk along with ya. I'm not drinking tonight but I just had to have some wine the past two nights. I think I can find that fine line between not drinking at all and drinking too much!
-
Lini, I can not lose weight either. Started this BC journey at 165, stayed there all the way through till about December, i have gained about 2 or 3 more. I do know that my Thyroid TSH Level went up about 3 points so I think that is where the extra weight is coming from. I have to get at least 5lbs off before surgery on the 16th of August. We shall see.
You ladies are such a hoot!!!!!!!

AND THEN I'M CELEBRATING!
With my BIG glass, of course....JUST TWO DRINKS
(I think the equivalent is a gallon!)
HeeHee -
Badbabe: Hi and how the heck are ya? It figures you would think of the big glass - hee hee - I've got one right now. I am officially off for 4 glorious days.
Hero: So glad the tests are normal and good luck with that f/u visit.
Tipping my glass of pinot grigio and saying cheers.

Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up! -
Sounds good to me! Cheers! I've found a new scotch that I like ~ Balvenie. Yum! Where is Fitztwins as we need to debate this!
-
Well ladies it is Friday and the weekend is going to be 90 both days, so i'm strapping on my suit and putting my big ole butt in the float and going to float the weekend away, both mind and body. wahoooooooooo

My PCP actually wrote me a prescription for a glass of red wine every day. Says its good for my cholesterol.
Debby -
Can I join this club. I also am a big glasser. I love wine, especially red wine and I love rum. I like beer if its ice cold and of good quality and dark. Do I qualify. Cmon let me join the party. I can push the wagon but I aint gonna ride!
Shel sorry to hear you are having a rough time.....still. -
welcome to the club "katlady"........cheers!
debi........hobbie boys are NOT a good alternative, they are expensive in every sense of the word lol!
gotta take groovy granny for brunch, better leave now, it takes an hour to get her in my jeep!!!!! now there's another "visual" for ya'll! -
Hello Ladies!
No,I'm not drinking yet - only 9:30 in the morning here! (AH, but it's 5 o' clock somewhere!) Just kidding.
I am just checking in - have been lurking, but not posting much lately.
Welcome to the club kat! I think we are all Big Glasser's here! Love that RED wine. Actually, went out to dinner the other night and had a margarita with chambord. It was wonderful! Yum.
Shel - sorry to hear you are dealing with the expanders. Hoepfully, you will be through this stage in no time at all.
I am off on a vacation for the next few days! Woo-hoo! I plan on eating and drinking and relaxing the days away. I am going with my husband and another couple to the coast. Should be fun.
HERO - I plan on staying away from fish; and drinking all night on the beach - LOL
I hear what you are saying about husbands just not "getting-it." They don't, they can't, and they never will. Sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone, but my husband is wonderful (most of the time - lol) and HE doesn't get it! He tries to understand, but....it's a waste of breath. I have irrational fears - duh! WHo wouldn't? I don't eat red meat, but I use hair spray and drink alcohol. I guess because I am a walking contradiction, it would be impossible to understand. I have made choices on what I will sacrifice and what I won't, that's all.
Sorry - I am rambling - really, not drinking, just rambling!
Janie -
Shel: Oh I love it. "hobby boys are not a good alternative." And yes, they are expensive lol.
No drinks for me today. I had enough yesterday for the whole week.
