    What have you all done to me? I'm the one who didn't want to wear a black and pink t shirt to the piano bar (I have since bought two). So what was delivered to me today? The cute little pink sandals that I ordered online! I do NOT do pink! Do you hear me?

    MARLEGAL......I hear you, girl! I didn't own one thing pink a year ago! Just never cared much for the color so when BC came knocking, I really resisted but now ......

    Well, you know......



    Also, I'm not a clothes horse or fashion plate. The last time I really dressed up was November 2012 for daughter's wedding. Give me a pair of Merrell's or Crocs on my feet and the same jeans and t-shirt....just in different colors.



    Someone else has taken over my body and brain for Vegas !! We don't have any malls at the beach but I am spending way too much time in front of the mirror at T.J. Maxx's.....trying to suck more than one body part in at the same time! Just about needed paramedics for oxygen with one outfit....it went back on the rack! So I settled for a couple new tops.....nothing fancy but new to me and fun to find!

    Obx, I had to laugh at your post ... while I did get cute little pink sandals, they are Crocs :>)

    And I don't own any cute little dresses. The word little and I haven't been friends for quite some time now, so I'll be the one in shorts or capris and casual tops most of the time!

    Here's a shot of the shoe...wearing today in work to make sure they are comfy in addition to being cute. Have my sneakers here as backup!

    Marlegal I am soooo not a pink person either, but I have been known to wear it in Vegas!  Cute sandals btw.

    My SIS gave me an outrageous pair of pink glittery sandals right after I was DX that just sit in my closet....I should pull them out and see if I can wear them this trip. Maybe at least to the pool?

    OBX - this is one of the things I love about our group -I have a high school acquaintance that I have found on facebk.  She looks like a Barbie doll...all primped and perfect in ALL her pictures.  Recently she posted a picture of her with about 5 of her friends at some function and omg ...they all looked identical!  Really really identical....all perfect barbie dolls.  Now how boring is that!!!! I love that we are all originals, wear what we want when we want kind of gals - yet we totally embrace each other for who we are! No judgements because we don't have anything to prove to one another.  We are the real deal my friend!

    Hi Ladies! I ONLY put breast cancer survivors that come to Vegas on our PHONE CARDS because there are sooo many of us and the cards get too big..:).......... Can you let me know......if your roomie your brought ( that we don't already know... )with you this year is also a survivor... or your supporter... TY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TIME IS ALMOST HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    flygirl, marlegal...There is no need to "Dress up" for Vegas.  We are us.  Yes, it's fun to get a few new things for a trip, but remember, you are new, we won't know if that's last year (or last decade's) dress. And even if it were, who cares!?   We are good with shorts, t-shirts, jeans, comfy shoes. 

    Just come as you are and have some fun!

    Journey....please bring your glittery pink sandles! Fun! And I know exactly what you mean by look-alike girls. I go to lunch once a month with 3 chatty and ....catty, cousins. I swear they must shop, shower and show-up together. Same hair, clothes and jewelry. Bless their hearts!

    It does seem........ at our MEET AND GREET friday nights...... before we all go out dancing .......... we all are dressed up.This is the time we get a great group shot as we ARE looking our cleaned up best... and all together.  I think every lady has worn a dress or dress pants/suit. Some heals... some flats..... crocs work...LOL....... look at the FACEBOOK photo from last years meet and greet.. I posted it a few weeks back.

    I just wanted you to know that Friday does seem to be the one time we really dress. All the other times.... dresses to shorts.... whatever you feel good in.

    If I am repeating............ bite me.    LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Love .... Laura

    P.S. I would like to ask for continued prayers for my father, he has had a set back and is still in the hospital. He has internal bleeding in his thigh and will probably be going to rehab in a few days. He is doing better today but has had 5 pints of blood this week. I hope that is the last. Hugs to all, Cheryl

    Well, I finally started pulling things from my closet for the trip.  I bought shoes for my dress. I was doing laundry and thought, "oh heck, I won't be wearing this again before Vegas, I'll just hang it here." It just got worse from there, hanging stuff there, pulling the bag that matches the swimsuit, asking "do I have xyz to go with this?".  So, now I have to make a list. I typically just throw stuff in a suitcase. So, why do I need to plan?

    My next few weekends are really busy, so I wont really have time and it just hit me that I better get started! I don't want to be putting it together on Wednesday night to run off on Thursday.............oh the planning.

    I guess I'm just excited. So looking forward to seeing everyone.

    Oh my gosh can you believe it's September?!?  SheChirple thank you for the reminder that it's time to start making my list and pulling things aside to get ready.  Life is NUTS for me now...our house is on the market so everything has to look picture perfect before I go to work everyday...have no idea where I will start laying things out.  Good thing there are shops in Vegas if I forget to pack something! LOL.

    Heymoose - prayers for your Dad!  My gosh that's scary stuff, but glad to know he is making a turn around.

    Today is my 5 year cancerversary.  So far doctors are in agreement with me that I am cancer free.  Whoot Whoot!!!!! 

    Looking forward to seeing all of you wonderful ladies in Vegas!
