WooHooo....it's almost time!
-
Looking forward to seeing y'all!
I think I have met those of you on the list this time except for Lee7's friend, and maybe ameron.
-
AnnAlive, ameron joined us since you were last able to be with us, and we all look forward to meeting Lee7's friend.
I made reservations for 11 of us in the bar area at 11:30am, just like always. If anyone reading this finds they can join us at the last minute, please come! They can always accomodate more by expanding for us.
-
I was hoping to be far enough along into our Labor Day sale prep to be able to break away & join y'all, but I will have to catch you all next time. (Didn't want anyone to worry.) Have a lovely time & eat lots of cheesecake!
-
Awww...you will be misssed! Next time it is then.
-
Yes DLL, you will missed. See you next time!! Have a great weekend!
-
Was that a great time or what? So nice to meet ameron and aquawaves (Lee7's friend who will post here soon). Good to catch up with all of you ladies again. DLL66, see you next time, and others who didn't make it there today.
White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cheesecake -- mmmm.
-
Another wonderful gathering of exceptional women. It's an honor to know al of you.
-
I really had a great time today! Too much garlic in my pasta, but the company, as always made my day and really lifted my spirits.
Hugs to you all !
Now I have to sort out my shopping list....I've got the raisins but need to buy some decent gin. Have to find a good brand of fish oil, need to ask the pharmacy whether the pill they stock is goldenrod, yellow or pink....and don't let them give me the pink. Um....I know I'm forgetting stuff. Is there a thread for that?
Looking forward to the next get together!!!

Lee7, Nature's Bounty makes a good fish oil. I take a prescription version called Lovaza. My husband has long used Nature's Bounty which is a good brand. It often has a BOGO or some kind of deal at Walgreen's and CVS.
Gin: Bombay Sapphire or Tanqueray are both very good. Mid-range on price. But I bet you could go with something like Gordon's for your "project".
-
Yes, AnnAlive. That was a great time! I am so glad your schedule worked this time as we have missed you. I always look forward to our gatherings and it is especially nice when we have a new friend join us. Thanks, Lee, for bringing Aquawaves.
-
Thanks MondaysChild, for the shopping tips. I'm picturing a martini glass, sparkling blue liquid, eight little golden raisins huddling together at the bottom, and maybe one of those drink 'swords' so I can spear them! ....Sapphire gin over golden raisins sounds exotic and delicious!
Swallowing fish oil...not so much.
But if it helps I'm all for it.
-
Lee, the gin is not actually blue, only the color of the bottle glass.
Nature's Bounty fish oil is BOGOed at CVS. I saw the ad in paper this morning. They are capsules and you do not take a thing. I promise you can do this. Only the name is bad.

Lee7 - You might want to try Hendrick's Gin, it is very mild and flavored with cucumber. Gin can be harsh and this brand is actually very nice. I can get it for you on base (probably cheaper and tax-free) if you have trouble finding it. Fish oil capsules can be frozen, it makes them way less fishy, easier to swallow, and you don't get as many fish burps. I take Schiff Krill Oil, the joint care formula. It is one pill a day, small and easy to swallow. You can look at the Femara (letrozole) makers on Google image to see what the pills look like, I take Teva, the yellow one, but previously took Mylan, the bright pink one, which is the one I had problems with.
To all, had a nice time with you yesterday - always love to get together with such a wonderful group of smart, strong, beautiful women!
-
MC, maybe if I add a drop of food coloring?
K, the cucumber flavor gin sounds good. I might actually like it!
Thanks for the suggestions!

@Lee7,
I've got my FA's that fly Europe notified to check on the medication and availability......we carry the Pifzer company back and forth from RDU to their headquarters in London. Many Fa's are on a personal name basis I with the Rrs and chemist/researchers......lets see what happens!
Great to see every one....just need rotating chairs so I can visit with everybody!
I'm committed to hosting the next BCO, the first week of November! It'll be wonderful seeing our BCO group in my home.
As a heads-up, I live in Feather Sound. It's right off 275S, which is Ulmerton Rd. Clearwater, FL.
Love~Hope,
Firework -
Enjoyed seeing everyone! I love the mental image of the blue drink with 8 raisins laying at the bottom. Sapphire is the brand that I've used, just an fyi. Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
-
May just have to try the gin soaked raisins again, using good gin this time.
-
Maybe I should buy a case of gin, lol!
