I was dx 09 with stage 1 grade 1 breast cancer, masectomy, and now on Arimidex. dx at 49 years.

I was wondering how many ladies in the United Kingdom, had the same dx .

Be great to hear from you all, sending all good wishes      kaza

    Hi kaza,

I'm in UK though not the same diagnosis as you. I was diagnosed as IDC triple negative in Sep 2009 when I had just turned 46. Diagnosed again in opposite breast 2011 so had bilateral mastectomy at that point (without reconstruction). I'm now approaching my 50th birthday and all seems well right now. Long may it continue!

Just saying hello! I am sure someone from the UK with your particular diagnosis will be along soon. Hope you are doing well now.

    Karen.

hi Kaza, I am in the UK too. Just thought I'd say hello even though my dx is different to yours - multifocal tumors 18mm, 16mm & 12mm, stage 1 grade 2.

    All the best,

    Tasha

Hi Kaza, thank you for the welcome :)

I am healing very quickly and resting when I need to.

The hardest part is taking one day at a time!

    You take care too.
