I can take the sofa bed Mary!! You guys will probably want to shut the door to deafen the sounds of my snoring, lol.
Aimee that's a big yes on the BBQ!! Sounds fun! And how sweet of your neighbor! -
Here is a link to our group pic. Not sure how to get the image to show

What I loved about these women is that even though I am a very shy, introverted, modest woman and observed, rather than participated, they included me in all of their fun. They made made me laugh with all of their antics and I had a fantastic time.
I can't wait to do it again!
-
Bless your heart Mary for these kind words. You described yourself to a tee ... NOT.
-
Well, glad we brought you out of your shell a little......lol....bless your heart...❤

Well crazy ladies.....lol.....our thread is very quiet!!!!!....I'm at Joe's cottage recuperating and boy do I need that......my body will never be the same....lol...
I suggest our thread heat up again to plan our trip for next year.....😎💃 -
Christine I think it was all the pool exercises you did.
Such a downer when you wait months for something so great and then its all over. -
So true Aimee.....I'm already thinking about next year...that's going to be a very long think.....lol
-
Next year.... next year
-
Oh Mary, bless your heart!!! Lmao. I think you we're describing me. To the mods, thank you. We did have fun and it was great to meet everyone in person. Friendships for life were made. Can't wait for next years gathering, hopefully the group will grow and more of our sisters can make it.

Well ladies, I'm the last one to get back home....lol...back in Toronto today. I just want to turn around and start all over again. What a wonderful bunch of crazy, fun loving women you are. I'm tearing up just thinking about our time together. It's just hit me now that the "party is over" as Joe kindly invited me to her cottage for a few days and I'm now home in Toronto. It's a bit of a let down now for me....yikes, back to reality....
Aimee you were an amazing host and I thank you for all the hard work you did to make our time in Iowa so much fun.
McCook....you're an inspiration to us all girl!!!!! I'm going to check out my local cancer hospital and see if they have something for
seniors like a "crawl for the cure".....ha ha ha .....Canada next year gals...can we start the countdown now????? -
Glad you are home safe and sound Scottie. It will take a few days to come off the downer of being back to real life instead of our BCO life we created last week. And I enjoyed every minute of playing host, glad you enjoyed.
Just got a call today that my mom pushed her lifeline button in the middle of the night a week ago because she couldnt breath and was in the hospital until Sunday. What is so frustrating is she told my cousin not to call us so i knew nothing about it. Today she went to a doctor appt and they sent her to the hospital because her legs are so swollen she couldnt get shoes on. That is when my cousin told her she was calling me. Now i am waiting to see if they admit her. My mother is stubborn and doesnt want anyone coming there so will decide after I get the update from my cousin. Hoping for the best. -
iatigger, please keep us posted on mom. Hoping for the best with you. Hugs
-
Aimee....sending prayers up for your mother....hoping she will come out of this ok.....❤
-
Aimee (((((((hugs)))))))
-
Sending good vibes and prayers Aimee!! I hope they figure out what's going on so they can treat it! It's so hard to help a stubborn person, isn't it? (((Hugs)))
-
Thanks gals, sounds like things are stable so far.
-
Aimee....stable sounds good.....keeping my fingers and toes crossed......❤
-
Aimee ~ I agree with Christine. Stable sounds good. {{HUGS}}
-
Prayers for your mom Aimee!!! XOXO
-
