E, done! Really worried about her.
Here are some answers.......

Bummer news on my end. Yesterday's bone scan showed new tumors on the L vertebrae, T-6, sternum and pelvis. We can conclude that Femara/Tykerb are NOT doing the trick, so we're adding Afinitor asap. Poop.
-
Double Poop!!
-
Oh E - what crappy news - when will they change treatment?
-
Damn!
-
-
Double Damn

RL....enjoyed the Texas piece. I feel some eagerness for the even numbered years and the hope that we can ditch some of the horribly stupid and totally out of touch people in government who can do things that help and not harm more often than not.
Jackie
p.s. Blue I also enjoyed the Jim Morrison piece. Much I did not know about him though I so liked the Doors.....6o's had such great people and music.
-
E - rats about your news - the next med will kiss ass!
Thanks for calling Athena - please send her our hugs - pain sucks. Hope radiation is effective. Hard to expect her to be gentle with herself, but radiation can be SO exhausting, and on top of pain - more rats!
Too hot to think, or type - going to nap....
-
Thank you for calling Athena, Enjoyful. Please give her my best if you speak again. And I'm so sorry for your rotten news. Grrrrr... Time to turn this around and now!
I continue to enjoy all of you smart, funny, spirited ladies. Oh, and Jim Morrison is pretty hunky too! -
E - please give Athena our best if you speak with her. In the meantime, sending postive vibes her way. Wish I was flying now....
-
E - sorry about your news. Are you in pain?
Glad to hear you are in touch with Athena. Please tell her we miss her and personally, I think and wonder about her a lot. -
E, thank you for letting us know about Athena. My heartfelt hopes for her to have pain relief soon. Sorry about your news E, but as Sunny said, that next one could very well kick those blankety blanks to the curb.

(((((((((((((((((Enjoyful))))))))))))))))
(((((((((((((((Athena))))))))))))))))
One wee gorgeous litle boy has arrived - WOW the smile I got was amazing - we seem to have a deep connection. Their flight was late but we didn't have to wait too long.
Waiting for them to wake up.

Uh oh - they're awake!!!

E, my bestest thoughts going out to you and Athena.

Suzie enjoy!

E - big BIG hugs
-
And a few more hugs too, E.

SO PROUD of the President of the United States. Speaking "off the cuff" but clearly from the heart, and if anybody finds online the WHOLE 18 minute talk, please post a link. Thanks. I've just been able to find excerpts on the news.
-
Found it
Washington Post has the whole talk
I don't always agree with President Obama, but I RESPECT him, honor his Office, and treasure his ability to THINK on his feet, and communicate both his thoughts and his feelings, and I really hope many will have the 18 minutes to listen to him.
-
hugs and love to Athena and Enjoyful. You and all the gals on this thread have been a BLESSING to me and I'm sending back in big bunches.-----kad2kar

18 minutes of BS.
-
a blue line...hmmmnn....can't have been very interesting...thought there was a thread for nasty comments, ah, well..hope all have a chance to see the video, so thoughtful, again, just so PROUD to have this person as outr President.
Sweet dreams all - thinking of E, and Athena. Sending good wishes - and hope the meds are doing good work.
We've all got our fingers crossed for thunderstorms tomorrow....no tornado needed, just lots of coooling rain

-
Sunny -- Constant thunder, lightning and off-and-on rain here in Niagara since about 7 p.m. I'm personally sending it all along to you! Expect it by morning
. -
Sending (((hugs))) to E and Athena. I've been really worried that we hadn't heard our lioness roar for so long. The universe owes you both a streak of good stuff ... enough of the crappola.
I'm hopelessly behind on the thread so will be going backwards to read and catch up. Waving hello to all!

A very thoughtful message by our POTUS. I know it has been difficult for Obama to address these topics involving racism, possibly for fear some will claim "he only cares about....." The previous comment fits my last comment about racists. They don't want to understand, can't understand, refuse to believe, that an African-American man in this country lives within a different set of rules than his white brother. This particular murder case has provided a teachable moment and I'm happy Obama took the opportunity. Too bad it couldn't give rise to a more intelligent discussion than a 2 letter insult.

Raining here - I'm exhausted - lots of walking today added to the airport long walk last night have worn me out. Nicholas wouldn't stay in the trolley while we were doing the shopping, so Annie had to carry him and he is not light. We've been getting some lovely smiles and high 5's. We got him a blue ball while we were out, so he feels more at home - he loves the one he got for his birthday (more than any other fancy present).
Steve, Annie and baby have gone for a walk - I hope they took an umbrella.
Poppy hiding out on our bed.

Even if you don't read the whole article, please, please focus on the picture. LOVE.

Hope all are safe in the thunder boomers...please no tornado.
Thinking of E, and Athena. Lovely to see Wabbitt...
