Sweet dreams!!

Was away for 4 days in DC with DD#1 and family...had a great time with them, and even stayed in their home which I never do with DH (who stayed home)...
I am just catching up.
Meece, it sounds like your visit was just what you needed. My Gd is just 2-1/2 and she speaks clearly; however, she occasionally makes up words, and long rants...I video’d her and emailed to her mom to find out what she was saying....and she said “her own language”
Sorry, Meece, that you have to face these tests.
Chris, hope you are feeling better. Thanks Granny, Sandy, cmb,Sheila, and everyone...for celebrating my relief with me.
Sheila, thinking of you and your appointment on Thursday.(((Sandy))) prayers are with you for a successful procedure and for feeling better...I am sad to hear you have to go through this.

(((EVERYONE)))
Had a date with my cuz David whom I have not seen since my Dad passed away, that was over a year ago. He was sad that he opened my email too late when I told him that my DH passed away.
We met up at Fishbones in Chelmsford, had a nice long talk and had a delish meal. I had Baked Haddock with Sweet Potato wedges and Asparagus and washed it down with a Blue Moon.
Not much cooking here, mostly chicken in olive oil and a veggie of some sort. The raspberries in my garden are bountiful, smoothies and in my cereal.
Take care everyone.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone

Quiet on this thread...must be the heat....
Deb, sounds like you had a much-welcomed family day and a great meal, too.
Any word from Sandy?Where's Ducky? Val?
Granny, know you are busy getting things in order! Always an adventure...
Sheila, are you keeping cool?
-
Good morning everyone.
-
So glad you had a nice time with your cousin and are enjoying the raspberries, Deb.
Hope everyone is keeping cool.
Just took some medicine in the hope of staving off a migraine today...
Next week is my "hell" week- was scheduled to work 6 days (though it still wasn't going to be 40 hrs so I shouldn't complain), but yesteday a girl asked me if I could do this Sunday 9-2. that will make it 7 days straight - I said I would do it if she couldn't get anyone else. No one else could do it - so I will. Well, the money will be nice - with DD going to live at school in a month and stuff still needed to be bought.
So my slide out keyboard on my non-touchscreen phone decided to stop working yesterday - ugh. then I burned my forehead on my hairline with my curling iron when the heat turned my sweat to steam. Then when I went to put my socks on, I got a cramp in my foot. Luckily the rest of my day didn't go that badly... When I told DD about my foot cramping, she went into hysterics. I thought it was amusing, but not quite that funny...guess she was in one of those moods.
Did I mention DD got an 87 on her chem exam! Still riding that high - but she has another one tomorrow - so fingers crossed again.
Keep cool, everyone! Hope everyone is doing well ((((((TOL))))))

My name is Linda and I am addicted to Candy Crush Saga.

Hi, Linda!

-
LOL!!!!
-
HI I'm Sheila and very bored
-
Hi, Sheila!
(Did you get the feeling that time?)
-
Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been by in a while, have been off "doing stuff".
Just returned from a week with the little grandchildren. They're growing so quickly. The little Mister just celebrated his 5th birthday while I was there. (He sure is getting a little potty mouth!!) Little Miss, who is 6+, kept me busy. Love being with them but it is very nice to come home. Sure is quiet!
Found some good buys at my DD's T*J*Maxx. LOVE that store! Still need to fill out the Feedback Survey. Maybe I'll win the monthly drawing to win a $500 gift card!! Yeah, right..... But I did once win a $1000.00 from a sweepstakes I entered while doing a refund for a product I'd purchased. The mailman came to the door & I had to sign for registered mail & just about fell on the floor when I pulled that check out of the envelope!!
Have read back a ways on the thread to catch up. Keeping good thoughts for all who are having tests done.

The flight 800 memorial service (17 years) was tonight a few miles from here. There is a permanent memorial at the beach nearest the crash. What a sad night that was.Chris, that is good news about DD's chem exam! Hoping for more like that!
Hi Val, so glad you had a good visit with your grandkids.

Hi my name is Grannydukes and with the heat index it's 102 in nj.
Hate the summer.
Nice to see all of you and read your stories.
I have been in mourning for the past few weeks.
I lost my best friend and another friend to this horror of a disease.
Ill be back
Huggs and prayers to all my sistas

So sorry, Granny. That has to be difficult!
Heading to my GP tomorrow for results from bloodwork. She said next step would be an MRI and a consult with a neurologist.
-
good luck Meece...
-
Thanks. I just really hate dr. appointments!
-
Yay Sheila - clean mammo!
So sorry for your losses, Grannydukes.
Hope you get some relief soon, Sandy! Sorry you are having trouble. this weather probably doesn't help either.
Good luck with the appt, Meece!
It's 88 degrees in my house... One room has a/c and the basement is cool from the dehumidifier so if we can escape the heat if we need to. 88 - blah. And it's supposed to be 98 tomorrow! I hope this place doesn't spontaneously combust...
I think I'd be tempted to empty out 1/2 the pool and replace it with cold water. 96 water temp- that's crazy.
(((((((TOL)))))))
-
How about ice cubes?!?
-
Heat Index of 109 today, I hear you Granny!!!
Did the same thing Ducky, it didn't really help either, and the well water is COLD!
