Happy Dance Time. -
Congratulations Ireland!!!
I ended up coming home from the hospital around 6pm tonight. It is good to be home, but now I need to figure out the best way to get up and down from couch now. I am sleeping out in the couch since I know it would be impossible for me to get up alone from bed and laying flat. I will figure it out quickly though. I still have major restrictions for at least the next 6 weeks, but at least I am home now. I will return to my doctor in about a week to start getting staples removed. He removes every other one first and then the rest will come out in about a week after the first half come out. There are at least 50 staples in me! I remember I was uncomfortable getting the 8 staples out after each of my c-sections.
Thanks to everyone for being in my pockets! It made it easier knowing you we're there! I told one of the nurses about our pocket parties and she thought it sounded fun!
The best part in all this is I made it home before my girls come home from overnight camp! I will be here when they get home and will be able to hear first hand all that they did this past week.
Have fun in Iowa and keep us posted! -
Carolyn - I hope you are doing ok also! Let us know when you can.
