"You Shook Me All Night Long" - AC/DC

    Spent some time feelin' inferior

Standing in front of my mirror

Combed my hair in a thousand ways

But I came out looking just the same

(This song has one of my Top Ten rock intros, not to mention an outro with all hell breaking loose.  Puts the classic in classic rock!)

You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC

My husband had Cat Scratch Fever. I had no idea it was a real thing. Who knew???

    Come a little bit closer
Hear what I have to say
    Just like children sleepin'
We could dream this night away.

    Neil Young - Harvest Moon

Mini1, I didn't know CSF was real either, just a product of Nugent's puerile mind.

    It's night, again
Time for my mind to go wandering
Off on a journey, through space and time
In search of a face I can never find
So I close my eyes and look inside

Girl on the Moon -  Foreigner

Going to see them in concert next week. I'm giddy!!!

    Mini: I see your post.

You see 'em comin' at you every night
Strung on pretension they fall for you at first sight
You know their business-you think it's a bore
They make you restless-it's nothin' you ain't seen before

Working For The Weekend - Loverboy

Can't stand the thought of you with somebody else

Got to have your love, got to have it all to myself

I say yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!

"Loverboy" - Billy Ocean  (Don't know if this one would have come to mind without the answer that preceded it.  Wink)

O.K., this is the one that got overlooked from the last time:

    Spent some time feelin' inferior

Standing in front of my mirror

Combed my hair in a thousand ways

But I came out looking just the same

Had to look this one up, E, and took a trip down memory lane. I have this album!

Every Picture Tells a Story - Rod Stewart

You're dirty sweet and you're my girl

I listen to so much classic 60's and 70's, badger, it's not even memory lane for me, it's my daily listening.

    "Bang A Gong" - T. Rex

She's posing for consumer products now and then
For every camera she gives the best she can
I saw her on the cover of a magazine
Now she's a big success, I want to meet her again

(I expect this one might be harder, so think 70's, synths, and German.)

Bon left us hangin' on that one, so I looked it up.  You are right, Mini1.  It is "It's Raining" by Jennifer Warnes.  I don't remember it.

Mini1, your turn, go on and post the next one.

In the day we sweat it out in the streets of a runaway american dream
At night we ride through mansions of glory in suicide machines

    Born To Run - Springsteen

Put on a gown that touches the ground, ah ooh
Float on a river forever and ever, Emily
    There is no other day
    Let's try it another way
You'll lose your mind and play
    Free games for may

It's an early single by a band that has A LOT of their later stuff played on classic rock radio.  Someone should know it.

Too Many People by Paul McCartney  (I admit to googling then checking out the YouTube video - was this written with John & Yoko in mind?)

    No, thank you, please,
    It only makes me sneeze
And then it makes it hard to find the door

Good one!  "The No No Song" - Ringo Starr

The newspapers said, "Say what you doing in bed?"
I said, "We're only trying to get us some peace"

    Julia - The Bealtles

    What I feel, I can't say
But my love is there for you anytime of day
But if it's not love that you need
Then I'll try my best to make everything succeed

What Is Life - George Harrison  (LOL E, I was going to use that one next)

Well it's all right, riding around in the breeze
Well it's all right, if you live the life you please
Well it's all right, doing the best you can
Well it's all right, as long as you lend a hand

    Mr. Blue Sky - E.L.O.

Now forgive me for breaking the Wilbuy chain.

If you see something that looks like a star
And it's shooting up out of the ground
And your head is spinning from a loud guitar
And you just can't escape from the sound
Don't worry too much, it'll happen to you
