me too!!

I'd like to be there, too. When does the flight leave?
In CA you can be called for jury duty every 12 months. That's just about how often I get called, except last time was 18 months ago. I sat on a jury so I wonder if that is why I got the extra 6 months. I sat next to a 30-something guy and that was the first time he'd ever been called. Lucky fellow!

(((TOL)))
Not too much to read back here...
It sure has been beautiful weather. I took my first walk on the beach Tuesday and another today. Summer is here (tomorrow)...
I started group therapy at my usualy place and met 2 new ladies ... so far I've been to lunch and breakfast with them...something I never get to do while working. Wish we could all get together for a long week end at one of Sheila's beaches...
Sandy, hope things are going OK...are you off this week? (I hope)
My DD already said she's looking at a house with separate apartment...and she said I should be her nanny....if I could retire, I would. But I have a few years more I think...Meece, I've been called for JD infrequently, had to call in each night for a week to see if they wanted me; and I have never served. I had to testify once...my friend got held up in a gift shop and I was driving by and saw the guy looking in the windows.
(((Granny))) hope things are calm at your house...
I LOVE being off from work 4 days in a row. I joined a gym today...we will see where that goes...so far I like it.
Hugs,
Joan

We have to call in at night and sometimes at noon. I have served on two juries and been excused many times. I was even a jury foreman once.
-

Hi Granny!!
IN PA you get called once a year, being a paralegal I love it!!! Jamie and I was were called for the same trial, I was an extra one she got picked.....he voted not to convict me I would have convicted him, but they dismissed me.....

-
Happy Birthday to your oldest........don't listen when he says "'I'M AN ADULT NOW""........truth is after experiencing this through 6.......at 78.........it's a lie.....they never grow up.......cause no matter the age, there is always a "MOM CAN YOU?".............oh lord let me STFU......oh sorry, wrong thread.....lol....just kidding.......I know where I am.......

Happy Birthday to your son, Linda!
My DS passed his road test yesterday...just need to go to DMV and get the license- scary. I hope DS will be okay driving... not looking forward to the new insurance bill... omg...
(((((TOL)))))
-
Happy Birthday, Linda's big boy.
Congrats to your son, Chris. You will survive this.
-
congrats to your DD Chris....
-
Thanks..
So, I have no energy anymore. I want to blame chemo, but I feel as though I didn't have this little energy until a year after chemo - but I will blame it anyway (though I could blame the Tamox too...) So I'm wondering if chemo makes you older - like dog years... like how old am I in chemo years...
What prompted this was that my friend asked what I did to celebrate my bday and I said I came home from work, had supper, ate peanut butter ice cream pie and fell asleep. Which made me wonder how old I am in chemo years...since I think I really should have more energy than that at my true chronological age...
Just TOL...((((((TOL))))))
-
Chris, I take A.I.s for almost 1.5 years and I do believe they are aging...good example - dog's life! I don't know about Tamox but could be since it suppresses ER uptake.
Congrats on DS's license...it is true, you will wait to hear the car in the driveway for awhile...but I survived it 6 times over. It's a rite of passage...probably for the parents.Linda, wow, 18...it just doesn't seem that old. Well, when my kids thought they didn't have to have curfews any more, I just told them that any car under my insurance had to be home by midnight.
Sandy, I like your choice of comfort foods...DQ and Frosty's. Feel better soon.
Granny, yup it is beautiful weather all week. It helps me to get motivated.
Right now, I'm motivating myself to bed...
Sheila, you here today?(((TOL)))
-

I have been on Taxmox for 5 years and I AM NOW OLD! Good analogy Chris, dog years!
