Galsal, might you have an ear infection?  I had one once that made me horribly dizzy and as a result, nauseous.

Lovely, SpecialK.  Have been to both of those locations and enjoyed it.  Even got a photo in front of the Olympic Rings in Austria.  Cool

    Thanks for the input btw.

    lightandwind,

We get together about every 3 months.  Mark this thread as a Favorite and watch the header for the next one.

One of us comes from Punta Gorda and you may be able to car pool.

Hi everyone, I have enjoyed your posts for a while now and have learned so much from Special K on other posts over the last year and a half. We used to live in Pinellas but had to move to central FL about 15 years ago. Still a Pinellas girl at heart though. Although I can't make June 1 , I wondered if I am ever down your way when you are having your get togethers, could I join you or are you west coast exclusive. I can be clumsy and fall up the stairs or onto a porch with the best of you if that helps!

lightandwind, I'm the one from Punta Gorda and would really love someone to car pool with,It's a long boring ride when you're by your self.

2friedeggs, I can't come this week, but I am so looking forward to the next one, and I hope I will meet you there!  I am almost positive you don't have to fall up the stairs in order to qualify.. however, you may find you begin falling down just due to being near us!  Perhaps it is catching.

Special K I read about your DD needing her tonsils out.  I thought I'd share kind of a funny story although it wasn't so funny for the 2 guys involved. My DH had issues with his tonsils all of the time growing up but his pediatrician was adamant that his mom not allow anyone to remove them. He was still having major issues the first few years we were married. So he went to see a doctor who said he needed to get them out because he had so much scar tissue and areas of abcess in his throat. So here he was 29 and checking into the hospital for a toncillectomy . His friends were teasing him about it and he was feeling a little sorry for himself that he hadn't had it done when he was a little kid. We checked in to the hospital (that's when you stayed atleast one night for everything) then about an hour later his roomate checked in. My DH was a little embarrassed to tell him why he was there. It became obvious that the roomate who said that he was 28 wasn't real anxious to share either about his proceduree. Well after his wife and I left for the evening, they both opened up and all of a sudden my husband was feeling pretty good about getting his tonsils out- his roommate was getting circumcised the next morning. They were quite the roomates lol and the nurses joked about getting my DH icecream afterwards like the kids and told the roomate he could have some too-that he could either eat it or use it as a cold compress. lol

    2friedeggs,

We meet in the west coast, Tampa Bay area, of Florida.  But anyone in the WORLD is welcome to join us!  Please "favorite" this thread and watch for the next gathering.  I do not know what part of central Florida you are in, but we have a couple of us more east that attend. And more north and south!  We would love to have you.

GalSal, how are you feeling? Hoping you got some answers to the dizziness.

Thanks for the congrats! We are so relieved that he was able to get his grades up enough to pull it off.

Met with my PS for my pre-op yesterday. I am so freaking excited I could scream! I was just hoping he could fill the visible flat spot in my cleavage on my radiated side, but he plans on filling the entire top of the radiated side with fat injections. More than I had hoped for. Laughing And I am pretty excited that he plans to take the fat from my midsection. He is my favorite person right now!

I am sorry to be missing the get-together too, MondaysChild!

Funny...the lady that normally registers me at the hospital still remembered my husband & me and we have not been there since last August. That's what I get for being a frequent flyer, I guess!
