Meece....i'm very happy for you.....How is DIL doing did she get use to having 2?
(((Chris)))
(((TOL)))
It's already so hot and humid.....i need to walk........
My thumb still chubby.....I couldn't hold my coffee mug.....BBL......
-
Did you comes across some Nettles? I think that's what you call them. Basically a weed with thorns.
-
-
The Oklahoma news is just so sad. So many heros. Sending my prayers to you all!
-
Prayers from CA as well.
DIL has got her hands full for sure. Patch is not ready to share his throne with that noisy baby yet. I gave her a few suggestions about how to get him through the terrible twos, but actually I think they were suggestions on how she could survive them. Dh is pretty darned proud that his GS knows him and gets excited to see him. His blood GS doesn't know him enough to even call him anything, let alone interact. So sad.
-
Haven't had much time to sit and share but I have been reading.
Are you ok today, Sheila of the Swollen Thumb?
Deb - are you hanging in?
Having my FIL is both wonderful and like having a new child - he is pushing 90 and it is hard to watch the failings. Spent yesterday looking for a doc for his diabetic foot crisis and getting it addressed.

Linda...i'm not sure if it was the same plant but I took 2 long walks checking other people's yards and i saw quite few....
OMG the humidity was so bad......after 5 it got better and pleasant.......inside the house is like a cave and NO AC is not in the window yet
-
It was 87 here today and wicked (boston term, lol) HUMID!!!! It is now 52 and dry as a bone!!
Get that AC put in!
-
It's 79 here with 60% humidity...going down 67
i read we reached 92 today........
Diane my thumb is still big and can't bend it....LOL
Did you say it's 52 where you are or it was a misprint.......
-
Nope, it's 52. We got an ocean wind and the temps plummeted!
Try some thumb exercises. lol
-
It was and is 94 here today, and is supposed to go down to 54 tonight. Talk about a swing...
-
52! that's crazy. i thought for sure it was a typo. Brrrrr.
Sorry about your thumb, Sheila. I hope it gets better soon.

I don't think this has ever happened - 20 hours without anyone writing. Was it something I said?
-
Diane...maybe accidently they deleted the thread......
Well i had the most productive day with so many stuff done all afternoon......
I got my reports.....went to the hospital's medical record for my colonoscopy record...
i'm hearing and reading every 10 years if no problems......DR's are saying every 5 years
So make it short I circled the town for 2 hours and stopped everywhere possible humidity was terrible
Everything is taking care of.......lalalalalalalalalaa
tomorrow I get the Trans/vag and bone density results they sending me the copy
Pap smear was normal.....
I'm getting there i want to finish everything before May ends then it's vacation from every DR except MH all month of June.....
It's getting nicer now (weather).......
The big D was approved by my daughter ......not that i needed her approval but i actually put it on with the right bras and everything else.....Thank God it fits and actually I like the way it looks on me.............
I need to take the other 2 back to Macy's
I had open face grilled cheese and a big bowl of salad with onions for dinner
THE END.....
-
That was a long break.
I spent the afternoon prepping food for fondue tonight. It turned out yummy! Then I made bananas foster for dessert. Again....yummy.
Cut DS's and DH's hair. I am exhausted.
-
Wow - you had a productive day, Sheila! Glad you got approval on the D and you like it.
Diane - I think it's something I said that is keeping everyone away - they are afraid to log on and see that I've written another diatribe... of course, it doesn't take that long to scroll past them... lol
Sorry - nothing but complaints from me... if the world would stop pissing me off every day, I wouldn't have to complain so much!
I did go for a "run" tonight. So that was good.
(((((((TOL))))))))
-
Meece - glad fondue and dessert came out yummy! Did DIL behave - no snide remarks, I hope.
-
Sheila - tell us about the dress! Or give us a link - I'm sure you will look beautiful.
Chris - my reaction to your writing tonight is to wonder if your husband has depression. You don't belong behind a counter, you really have a tremendous gift for expressing real life.
Meece - yum for your dinner tonight!
-
Your posts, Chris, never have & never will drive me, or anyone else here, away! We love ya too much, gal!
I wish I had the guts to speak more of my mind..... just can't quite do that..... The wife of a cousin of mine told me of a conversation she had with my Aunt, her Mother-in-law one time. They were talking about the relationship between my Aunt & Uncle, the arguments they'd had through the years, him putting his fist through walls (no psysical violence), his 'talking down to her', stuff like that. She told me my Aunt said in reply to her, "Why do you stay with him? Why don't you leave him?" was, "Where would I go?" She does not know I know that. There is no L there.... Cheaper to live with him than alone.
I don't know if I said it here or on another post, that I had my 40th Anniversary May 12, we did go out to dinner to celebrate. But, I did ask has anybody ever thought about what their life would be like if they had never married the one they did, or never married at all. And that I had myself thought that. Just asking..... TOL.... -
I have never made Bananas Foster. It always looks so good & I know I would love it. I will have to try that one day.
-
I don't even know what Bananas Foster is...but it sounds yummy... now I want a banana split...good thing it's the middle of the night and I can't go get one...lol
-
-
Boy Sheila, I am exhausted reading all you've done! Glad you got all the appts taken care of. Pictures of D???
LOL Diane!
Chris, I did the D2 thing years ago. 50,000 IU's per week. It raised my levels minimally. Then I bought 50,000IU's of D3. Hard to find but it is out there. The D3 made my levels go up.
I'm so sorry to hear about your marriage. That just sucks. Do you talk to him about it? It could be depression. You should talk to your doctor about an antidepressent for yourself. I did and couldn't believe the difference.
Happy 40th!!! WOW Val, that's impressive!!
Banana foster, never made it but it sounds yummy!!
-
Christ.....have a GI Dr appt in 45 minutes, so need to run......will continue when I come back.....hang in their girlfriend, and know your not alone, or the only one dealing with the bullshit........check out the STFU thread and you will see....not that it makes it right, but it puts light on the subject...actually it's sad....hugs....do check it out
-
Linda/Sheila - doesn't D mean dress for the wedding??? I probably misunderstood.
-
Bananas Foster is carmelized bananas in Rum Flambé served with vanilla ice cream.
-
Diane...D is the dress...
It's just a plain D that i'm comfy....it's not really a wedding dress...
You know my issues posting pictures...sometimes it happens sometimes I can't do it
i will try to find it online if i can......or i will post 1 picture after the wedding
I'm totally exhausted but it's beautiful outside so i can't stay home all day
Grateful for MH being so kind to me.......
DD#2 will be here in less than 4 weeks for the wedding
Maybe this will be the last time we all gonna be together (Didn't mean death)
Well Chris...i feel you...I understand you.....It's very hard I wish i had some words to make you feel better but i don't...Just come here and post several times if it's necessary.......
We love and care for you...♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
