    Hey Ladies, 

    We would love to know how many are now planning on attending. Is everyone traveling from the States, or anyone from Canada or further? Are you all independently arranging your flights?

    Mods - we have a group that comes from Canada each year.  We all arrange our own flights as some of us come in early and some leave later.

    Didn't we have about 50 or so last year? At least that gives the Mods a ballpark figure.



    Colleen -- I haven't worn that denim dress or the jeans, either. I can barely fit into them now. Maybe you and I need to swap clothes, LOL. At least I've gotten lots of mileage out of the lace top.



    I'm working on plane reservations now. I can save a LOT if I fly in on Tuesday instead of Thursday, and I could get a cheap room somewhere, but I don't know about hanging out in Vegas for two extra days before everyone starts arriving. I'm not a gambler. Guess I could hang out by a pool and read...?

    Please, pleeeaaasssseeee sign me up!!!!! I so want to go!!!! No take that back, I need to go!!!!! I need some roomates!!!  I am usually not  a joiner, but hey I wasn't usually a breast cancer survivor either, so please tell me what I need to do to sign up, and to anyone looking for a extra roomate, I am your girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi there. I went to Vegas with a group of BCO chatters in 2007 and it was one of the best trips of my life. I raised the possibility of doing it again this year on the BCO Chatters FB page and someone pointed me here. I think a lot of our group will join with your group this year! I really, really want to go and reading a few of these pages, I feel like it's the same type of group as ours was. Fun, relaxing, playing, bonding ... I'm in! I've marked this page as a favorite so I can see updates and find out when people are booking, etc. Not sure if I'll need a roommate but will advise about that too. Glad I was pointed to this thread :)

    fredntan - yes....we leave the hubbies at home! 

    Gisella may be able to help coordinate room mates - I think she is putting the list together and then those that are in the room together need to coordinate amongst themselves who is going to put the down payment on their credit card.

    It is important that whoever makes the reservation gets the full names of the room mates so that you can let the hotel know or you may have a problem getting a key to the room.

    I have room with 4 girls for the past 4 years and we have never had issues with bathrooms - noisy roomies, etc.  Everyone has always been so respectful of the others in the room.

    HEy Hey...I'll be there Thursday nite....put me on the list!!!

    Last year Clare & I rode the Bull...well.....Calre did a far better job then me, I had a heck of a time getting on it LOL LOL  Of course I get a ear full since I was recovering from some usual medical stuff!!

    DRUM ROLL.............137 days girls till VEGAS  & Our %th TA TA SISTERHOOD REUNION!!

    WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

    My love to you all, some of you are aware due to FB, I'm heading in for more surgeries this Wednesday & it's now looking like I'll be there for 9 days. Just keep me in your Prayers & I will be ready for Vegas!!

    Jancie:  I was lucky enough to room with Jancie, and she is right.  We had quiet girls and party girls and we all got along just fine.  So well that I'm going back!

    Susie:  How did I miss the bull!!??  I'm a Country girl at heart and had my day on the bull, the real bull.  Oh, and about the wardrobe: LOL.

    I'll be driving in, probably thursday evening, and always offer to make airport pick ups for the flyers.

    So great to see all you ladies getting excited about the 5th year Vegas celebration. To think that it started 5 years ago with a few brave gals who met here on BCO! We are  lucky to have each other, really. Although I wish it were under different circumstances, I truly am blessed to have all of you as sisters. For those of you who are new to the gang, you will not be sorry you joined us. It is an amazing adventure form beginning to end. there'll be laughter, tears and everything in between and you'll cherish each moment because you'll be sharing memories with others who "get it". Ladies who've been there, done that.... and although hubbies, family and friends say they understand until they've walked the walk and talked the talk, it's just words. There's a bonding that goes on and before you know it, you have 50 or more dear souls who really do care about you and will be there for you. Our Saturday breakfast as an example will make you realize that you are not alone in your journey...

    If any of you are having doubts about going, please put your doubts and fears on the back burner for just this once. It's an amazing experience you're not soon to forget...

    Can't wait to see everyone again.  Am going to Vegas this weekend with 3 girlfriends and will be checking out the bartenders, cabana boys, waitstaff and Nordstrom salesmen......  Just a little quality control prior to TaTa weekend!!!!!

    I'll put it out there again this year.  I'm driving in from Southern California, Riverside area, on Thursday night and home on Monday.  I'm happy to have a rider if anyone along my route, or elsewhere nearby, wants to chat along the road. 

    I play loud music, roll down the windows and flirt with the other folks on the road!!  Just let me know.

    This is sounding better and better to me!



    Small side note...a group of women from the BCO chat rooms got together in Vegas in 2007,about 27 of us who hadn't met before. BCO sent a banner to our hotel, and they got us a suite for an overnight party, free of charge to us. (From the hotel, not from BCO)

    Best trip of my life up to that point. It started us going somewhere different every year. Florida, Virginia, Montana, Florida again, Canada ... and then we found out a group from the Boards had started with Vegas in 2008. It's so cool how bco.org has given us the springboard for these amazing trips and friendships.

    I just have to say this, I went to a Classic Car swap meet and I bought a Pink T-Shirt that says "Street Rodding For my Ta-Tas. That cracked me up. I had to buy it. I'm going to wear it to my next Support meeting. Neet HAH!!!!?

    I'm very excited to meet everyone in person that have visited with on these boards. It has been so helpful since being diagnosed, so much more than any medical personnel. Their time is so limited. ...and u feel free so free to ask any questions on these boards. Anyway, I'm just waiting to find out about the FB ta ta board and get ready for my favorite city. I'm planning on flying out on Thursday...love to gamble and have fun. Can't wait to meet new friends. Beatmon
